Abstract

In Indonesia, the Job Creation Law has had a major impact on workers, especially in terms of policies that tend to favor companies. The emphasis on labor flexibility and the ease with which companies can restructure can reduce job security, wages, and workers' rights. Inequalities in labor contract negotiations arise as the power differential between companies and workers widens. Thus, modern slavery practices often emerge to make workers feel marginalized. This is due to the lack of legal protection, which is detrimental to their health. Therefore, this study aims to provide an explanation of the effect of government regulation in the form of omnibus law and investment policies on the welfare of workers in terms of wages and working time. To achieve this goal, this research uses a political economy perspective with two derivative theories, namely the theory of oligarchy and neoliberalism. Then, in collecting data, this research will use the big data analytics method that will collect data containing tweets from Indonesians on social media X that contain certain keywords. This method consists of several stages consisting of data cleaning processing, data transformation into tabular form, and data visualization. Besides big data, this research also uses literature review methods to collect data from books, journals, and articles related to this research topic.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology demands the education sector to strengthen digital literacy, particularly in mastering computer networks. Observations at SMK Taruna Bakti Baturraden revealed that 10th-grade students face difficulties in understanding basic network concepts such as topology, hardware, IP addresses, and the use of Cisco Packet Tracer. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of interactive teaching methods in improving students' understanding. The activities were carried out through stages including observation, module preparation, delivery of interactive materials, and evaluation. The learning process involved participatory presentations, discussions, and hands-on simulations. Evaluation was conducted using quizzes and student reflections. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of networking concepts and enthusiasm in learning network technologies. Furthermore, the activity enhanced students' digital literacy through a practical approach and the use of simulation applications. These findings indicate that interactive teaching methods are effective in improving computer network comprehension and can serve as a replicable digital literacy-based learning model in other vocational schools.

Abstract

The focus of this study is the influence of the digital era and globalization on the use of Indonesian among the younger generation, consisting of students, college students, and active social media users. The main objective of this study is to find changes in language structure, perceptions of standard language, and linguistic and cultural issues that arise as a result of the spread of digital content, social media, and e-commerce. This research focuses on language use on social media platforms such as TikTok, WhatsApp, and Shopee, and includes social media users of various ages, schools, and urban communities. The methodology used includes descriptive qualitative studies, quantitative surveys, hermeneutics, and systematic literature reviews (SLRs), with data models including interviews, observations, online questionnaires, and digital content analysis. The results of the study show that the use of Indonesian is increasingly eroded by the dominance of foreign languages and informal styles. This can have a negative impact on students' mental health and character and reduce their understanding of standard language. However, the younger generation still realizes the importance of maintaining Indonesian. Therefore, language literacy strategies and digital education are very important to ensure the sustainability of the language amidst the flow of globalization.
