Abstract

2020 became a hard year for global society. Since March, 2020, school is closed. All learning process is going by online. On the situation like this, Japanese Literature Study Program, Faculty of Foreign Language, Denpasar Mahasaraswati University would like to held community service, especially at SMK Saraswati 3 Denpasar, as one of high school below Yayasan PR Saraswati Pusat Denpasar (Saraswati Foundation). This service, focused on aiding Japanese learning process, especially on introducing COVID-19 vocabulary in Japanese. Using learning media hopefully can solved online learning problems. Specifically, by using audio visual. In the end of the service, the participants took survey about introducing COVID-19 vocabulary in Japanese using audio visual. From 80 participants, 54 gives feedback and the result is using audio visual as an aid during language learning process is effective, although, the quality of the video should be more attractive to attract students.

Abstract

 This study aims to describe the structure and indirectness of any expressions contained in the lyrics of the song Funky Monkey Babys. The theory used in this study is a theory related to research, including the theory of the structure of poetry and the theory of semiotics. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. In this thesis the data are in the form of song lyrics Ato Hiotsu, Mou Kimi Ga Inai, Tabidachi, Namida, and Taisetsu. The data were analyzed using the theory of poetry structure and the theory of indirectness of expression. The results obtained from this research are; in the structure of the poetry of the songs Ato Hiotsu, Mou Kimi Ga Inai, Tabidachi, Namida, and Taisetsu found diction, figure of speech, and imagery with the theme of love, and the message don't give up. In the discontinuity of the expressions in the songs Ato Hiotsu, Mou Kimi Ga Inai, Tabidachi, Namida, and Taisetsu found a change in meaning and the Blank symbol which is more widely used. Abstract

Abstract This research purpose is to describe and examine the inner conflicts contained in the main character Ryuuji Takasu in the anime Toradora!. This research is descriptive qualitative and use the data source from the anime Toradora!. The data obtained is analyzed using the theory of inner conflict by Sigmund Freud (1923). In this research, the methods and data collection techniques used are using the listening method and the note-taking technique. The methods and data analysis techniques used are descriptive qualitative, the result of the analysis are then described by informal methods, namely descriptions of words in Indonesian that are easy to understand. The result of this research indicates that the main character Ryuuji Takasu experiences an inner conflict which is analyzed by using three structures of inner conflict namely id, ego and superego.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to discuss the personality of the female lead, namely "Amemiya Hotaru" in the Japanese drama Hotaru no Hikari 2. Amemiya Hotaru is a workaholic woman because everyday she always likes to work and work overtime even though she is not ordered to. The theory used in this research is the theory of personality maturity from Gordon Allport. Data analysis methods and techniques used are descriptive qualitative. Meanwhile, methods and techniques for presenting the results of data analysis using informal methods. The results of the analysis found that Amemiya had personality maturity based on 7 categories of Gordon Allport's self-expansion which consisted of self-expansion, namely always eager to work, having warm relationships with other people, namely caring to the others, emotional security, which is roomy, having realistic perceptions, which is low. have a kind heart, have skills and tasks that are creative, have self-understanding that is self-aware, have a unifying philosophy of life, namely discipline. Keyword: Japanese Drama, Personality, Main Character, Japanese Woman Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membahas kepribadian pemeran utama wanita yaitu “Amemiya Hotaru” pada drama Jepang Hotaru no Hikari 2. Amemiya Hotaru adalah wanita yang gila kerja atau workaholic karena setiap harinya dia selalu suka bekerja dan lembur walaupun tidak diperintah. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teori kematangan kepribadian dari Gordon Allport. Metode dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sedangkan, metode dan teknik penyajian hasil analisis data menggunakan metode informal. Hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa Amemiya memiliki kematangan kepribadian berdasarkan 7 kategori perluasan diri Gordon Allport yang terdiri dari adanya perluasan diri yaitu selalu semangat bekerja, memiliki hubungan diri yang hangat dengan orang lain yaitu perhatian pada orang lain, keamanan emosional yaitu lapang dada, memiliki persepsi realistis yaitu rendah hati, memiliki keterampilan-keterampilan dan tugas-tugas yaitu kreatif, memiliki pemahaman diri yaitu sadar diri, memiliki filsafat hidup yang mempersatukan yaitu disiplin. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the personality of the main male character, Hiro in the drama of Koizora. The data source used in this study is a romantic love story drama entitled Koizora or in English called Sky Of Love. Using the theory of personality by Sigmund Freud (In Minderop, 2011:21-22) is divided into three parts of personality structure namely id, ego, and super-ego. Based on the analysis of Koizora drama, the results show that the more dominant personality in Hiro is the id. This can be seen from Hiro’s actions at the beginning of the episode.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the emotional classification of the main character Ashiya Mizuki in the Japanese drama titled Hanakimi. The theory used is David Krech's theory of emotional classification. The data source used is the primary data source, using methods namely listen and record. Based on the results of the analysis of the data obtained, there are 4 types of classification of emotions, namely: basic emotions, emotions related to sensor stimulation, emotions related to oneself, and emotions related to others.

Abstract

The community service partner in this article is elementary schools in West Denpasar District. This activity aims to help partners find solutions regarding student adequacy because the partner is a school with the smallest number of students compared to schools in the West Denpasar District. Based on the analysis, the team designed a school profile video. Profile videos are an effective medium for promotion. The content of the video profile consists of the school's vision, mission, history, and facilities. The results of this community service activity would become an inventory of school facilities and infrastructure as promotional material on social media. The method used in making the video is the observation method with recording and interview techniques. The making video process was divided into several steps. In the first step, the implementation team made observations by observing the surrounding conditions and interviewing one of the teachers at this school. This activity aims to make the material into a video. The second step is to cover the video by recording videos of school conditions and school facilities. The third step is the process of making and editing the video. The video is a product of this community service activity. This video was uploaded on partner social media to introduce the school to the community. This video is a promotional tool for actively sharing content on media sites. The results of this service activity have a long-term impact because it takes time to determine the effectiveness of the video in efforts to equalize students in West Denpasar District.
