Abstract

This study aims to identify the initial behavior and characteristics of students as a process that must be passed by 5th grade teachers at SDN Cengklong 3 in designing their learning. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection through Observation, Interview, and Documentation. Based on the results of the study, it was found that each student had different characteristics and learning styles. Therefore, every education implementer must be able to know and understand the characteristics of each student so that learning can run smoothly. Teachers can make learning implementation plans with methods and media that can make learning more effective. The various differences in students that educators or teachers need to know are: (1) Characteristics of students, (2) Intelligence of students, and (3) Learning styles.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of knowing the application of affective domain assessment instruments in the learning outcomes of the 2013 curriculum at SDN Cipaeh. In addition, this study also analyzed the effectiveness of affective assessment instruments used by teachers in assessing students' attitudes and motivation levels. The results of this study are expected to provide valuable input for the school in improving the quality of learning and the assessment process. This study used observation and questionnaire methods with a Likert scale of 1-5. Data will be collected through class observations, interviews with teachers and students, as well as analysis of related documents. In identifying and analyzing affective domain assessment instruments, researchers will refer to the latest educational psychology theories that are relevant to this research.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the efforts made by the teacher to overcome the mathematical difficulties experienced by students in the area and circumference of a kite and trapezoid in grade IV SDN Kalideres O5 Pagi. The subjects of this study were students who had difficulty learning mathematics on the area and perimeter of kites and trapezoids, as well as classroom teachers. Collecting data using interview techniques and direct observation. The results showed that students had difficulty learning on the subject of the area and circumference of a kite and trapezoid. Difficulties experienced by students are difficulty determining formulas, misunderstandings about story problems, incorrect use of place values, errors in calculating the area and perimeter of kites and trapezoids. The teacher's efforts in overcoming the difficulties of learning mathematics on the area and perimeter of the kite and trapezoid flat shapes by paying special attention to students, tutoring such as mathematical symbols, place values, the concept of area and perimeter of kites and trapezoids, remedial learning, motivate students in study.
