Abstract

In the rapidly advancing era of globalisation, information and communication technology have had a significant impact, including in the field of education. The development of innovative learning media is crucial to enrich the teaching and learning process. Although many schools have provided IT media for education, there are still educators who underutilise these resources, particularly as tools for evaluating students. This research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This study aims to assess the implementation of the educational game Blooket as an evaluation instrument for the subject SKI at MA Miftahul Ulum Sitiaji. The research subjects were the students, and data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using normality tests, reliability tests, and t-tests. The results indicate that the validity of the Blooket website as an educational game-based evaluation instrument is excellent, with validation percentages of 71.2% from subject matter experts, 68.5% from Islamic Religious Education teachers, and 94% from media experts. The students' responses to the instrument were also very positive, with an average percentage of 87%. In conclusion, the educational game-based evaluation instrument Blooket is deemed appropriate and effective for use in the learning process. Abstrak: Dalam era globalisasi yang berkembang pesat ini, teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah membawa dampak signifikan, termasuk dalam sektor pendidikan. Pengembangan media pembelajaran yang inovatif menjadi penting untuk memperkaya proses belajar mengajar. Meskipun banyak sekolah yang sudah menyediakan media IT untuk pembelajaran, masih terdapat pendidik yang kurang memanfaatkannya, terutama sebagai instrumen evaluasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, yang mencakup lima tahap: analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan game edukasi Blooket sebagai instrumen evaluasi pada mata pelajaran SKI di MA Miftahul Ulum Sitiaji. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik, dan data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas, reliabilitas, dan t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validitas website Blooket sebagai instrumen evaluasi berbasis game edukasi sangat baik, dengan persentase validasi dari ahli materi sebesar 71,2%, 68,5% dari guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, dan 94% dari ahli media. Respon peserta didik terhadap instrumen ini juga sangat positif, dengan rata-rata persentase 87%. Kesimpulannya, instrumen evaluasi berbasis game edukasi Blooket layak dan efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the morality of adolescent families of swallow nest cleaning workers with a sub-focus covering adolescent morality problems, factors that cause morality problems, and efforts made by parents to fix adolescent morality problems. This research is phenomenological qualitative research. This research uses data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. Interviews were conducted on five teenagers who come from families of swallow nest cleaning workers and also five mothers who work as swallow nest cleaning workers. Observations were made on religious activities and children's associations. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the family youth of swallow nest cleaning workers experienced moral problems, namely being arrogant and arrogant, desperate, unable to control their passions, and angry. While the factors causing the occurrence of morality problems in adolescents include the family environment, friendship, society, mass media, westernization, and the low level of religious education, the efforts made by parents vary in improving adolescent morality, including the methods of advice, punishment, example, habituation. themselves with a disciplined attitude, filtering foreign cultures that enter, instilling religious values ​​, and encouraging children to be involved in community activities such as youth organizations. This is done by mothers to help improve the morality of teenagers.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the use of reading guide strategies in Akidah Akhlak subjects, Learning achievement in Aqidah Akhlak subjects. The effect of reading guide strategies on learning achievement in Aqidah Akhlak subjects. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study was all eighth-grade students. Considering that the population in this study was less than 100 people, the researchers took 100% of the population. So this research is a population study. In this study, data were collected using interviews to determine the use of reading guide strategies, questionnaires to determine the effect of reading guide strategies, and using report cards to determine learning achievement. The result of this research is that there is an influence of the reading guide strategy on the learning achievement of Aqidah Akhlak, the result is 0.590 where the significance value is greater than the "r" table, both at the 5% significance level and at the 1% significance level.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning in schools plays an important role in shaping students’ religious attitudes. However, in practice, IRE learning is still often focused on cognitive aspects and has not fully integrated the values of religious moderation. This condition may lead to an unbalanced understanding of religion and the emergence of intolerant attitudes among students. This study aims to describe the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning based on religious moderation, students’ attitudes and understanding of religious moderation, and the role of IRE teachers in instilling religious moderation values at MTs Al Yakin Pungpungan. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The research subjects included Islamic Religious Education teachers and students of MTs Al Yakin Pungpungan. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that Islamic Religious Education learning at MTs Al Yakin Pungpungan has integrated religious moderation values through communicative, dialogical, and contextual learning approaches. Students demonstrate tolerant, open-minded, and respectful attitudes in social interactions. Islamic Religious Education teachers play a central role as role models and facilitators in instilling religious moderation values. The implications of this study suggest that Islamic Religious Education learning based on religious moderation needs to be continuously developed to strengthen character education and foster moderate religious attitudes in schools.

Abstract

The limited speaking ability of students in learning Arabic at MTs Islahiyah Kalitidu indicates the need for an effective instructional method that supports oral communication skills. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Direct Method in enhancing students’ Arabic speaking proficiency, as well as to identify students’ responses and the challenges encountered during the learning process. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data gathered through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with teachers and students, and documentation analysis. The results show that the Direct Method was applied by maximizing the use of Arabic as the primary medium of communication, minimizing translation, and encouraging vocabulary application in contextual situations. Repetition, role-playing, questioning techniques, and visual media were used to stimulate active student participation. Students demonstrated positive responses, supported by improvements in fluency, pronunciation, and confidence in speaking Arabic. Peer interaction also contributed to a more cooperative learning atmosphere. Despite these positive developments, several challenges were identified, including students’ limited vocabulary mastery, differences in proficiency levels, large class sizes, and limited learning facilities. However, adaptive strategies such as contextual learning, scaffolding techniques, and visual reinforcement helped mitigate these constraints. The study concludes that the Direct Method is effective in improving Arabic speaking skills when supported by competent teaching practices and adequate learning resources. Strengthening teacher professional development, integrating technology, and applying differentiated instruction are recommended to optimize the implementation of the Direct Method in Arabic language education
