Abstract

This study explores the political economy of Minangkabau, a culturally rich and the world’s largest matrilineal community. The research focuses on understanding the power dynamics between men and women by conducting a gender analysis. The findings reveal that Minangkabau women hold a unique and privileged societal position. Traditionally, societal expectations allocate more roles and responsibilities to men, particularly in economic and political domains. Contemporarily, the special rights held by women have faded and been replaced by dominant male gender roles. Some gender roles have begun to disappear, such as the role of Bundo kanduang, mamak and tigo tungku sajarangan. In accessing economic resources, Minangkabau women experience challenges from men, private parties, and the government. These ignore the role of women as the legitimate owners of inherited property in Minangkabau land. Meanwhile, Minangkabau women have difficulty competing with men within systems that tend to be biased for political resources. In addition, Minangkabau women increasingly participate in productive work, demonstrating their ability to compete with men in the labor market. Despite these advancements, the study highlights a challenge for Minangkabau women. Keywords: Matrilineal, Gender, Political Economy, Gender Roles, Resources, Gender Division of Labor

Abstract

Kompensasi finansial merupakan salah satu alat manajemen yang kuat untuk mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Dengan memberikan kompensasi yang layak, adil, dan kompetitif, perusahaan dapat meningkatkan kepuasan, motivasi, dan kinerja karyawan, yang pada akhirnya berdampak positif terhadap pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah Pengaruh Kompensasi Finansial Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada CV. Tasnim Selaras Makassar Proyek Perumahan Royal Spring. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan CV. Tasnim Selaras Makassar Proyek Perumahan Royal Spring yang berjumlah 30 orang. Sedangkan teknik yang digunakan untuk pengambilan sampel yaitu sampling jenuh, sehingga sampel merupakan seluruh karyawan CV. Tasnim Selaras Makassar Proyek Perumahan Royal Spring yaitu sebanyak 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Data yang dikumpulkan tersebut kemudian di lakukan pengujian instrumen penelitian berupa uji validitas dan uji realibilitas, uji asumsi klasik, serta uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial Kompensasi Finansial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada CV. Tasnim Selaras Makassar Proyek Perumahan Royal Spring. Artinya apabila kompensasi finansial kepada karyawan ditingkatkan maka juga akan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan tersebut. Sehingga hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the interpersonal meaning in five selected song lyrics from Freddie Dredd’ s album to describe the interpersonal meaning elements namely mood and modality. Then, the study also uses lexical analysis to analyze the attitudinal elements in the song lyrics. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. The data is contained by separating the lyrics into clauses. Then, the data is analyzed by using two major instruments namely interpersonal meaning which analyzes the mood types and the modality. Then, the study uses appraisal system to realize the attitude of the speaker. In interpersonal meaning analysis, the most dominant mood type is declarative mood with the total of 132 clauses from 162 clauses or about 81.48% and the most modality found is median modality with 9 occurrences or about 50% from total of 18. In attitudinal appraisal analysis, the most dominant attitude element is Judgement (83.33%), followed by Affect (13.34%) and Appreciation (3.33).
