Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa Teknik Elektro. Berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya, mahasiswa Teknik Elektro menghadapi dua masalah umum: kemampuan berpikir kritis yang rendah dan kurangnya keinginan untuk belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskripsi kuantitatif. Ada 30 siswa yang diamati dan disurvei; data diambil dari diskusi kelompok di kelas praktikum Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, dan Agama di empat kelas. Peneliti melakukan observasi, awal, dan pengamatan untuk mengamati motivasi Mahasiswa. Peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah untuk mempelajari konsep dan proses belajar. Ada 30 responden, 8 dianggap kompeten atau memiliki kinerja yang sangat baik, menurut penilaian diri mereka dalam mata kuliah praktikum karena memiliki kemampuan untuk mengukur kemampuan mereka. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penilaian diri tentang sikap kerja harus dilakukan selama pembelajaran praktik untuk meningkatkan keinginan siswa untuk belajar dan meningkatkan skill mereka. Metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah berdampak pada kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, ada empat kompetensi inti: keinginan untuk belajar lebih banyak, mencari bukti, terbuka terhadap ide-ide baru, dan kreatif

Abstract

This research aims to assess the students’ obstacles in writing skills using interactive blogs. The study employs both quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The focus of the study involved 100 students who answered a questionnaire consisting of 15 questions on Google Forms. The questions were categorized into three groups: indicators of interactive blog use, benefits, and their influence on learning in the digital era. The data from the questionnaire revealed that 58% of students had a fairly effective understanding of blogs, 76% found blogs useful, and 89% found blogs effective and practical. The students showed enthusiasm for writing prompts because blog entries can include text, images, audio, video, and hyperlinks, enriching the content and providing supporting information. However, some disadvantages mentioned included difficulties in using blogs, the influence of online networking (internet usage), lack of peer comments, and the time-consuming nature of maintaining blogs. Another challenge in writing is the use of grammar, particularly tenses. The integration of blogs affects meaningful learning experiences by preparing students for effective written communication in a fast-paced world and improving their writing techniques. Nonetheless, interactive blogs proved to be more effective in enhancing students' writing skills.

Abstract

Safe and efficient electrical installation in residential buildings is essential to ensure occupant comfort and safety. Common problems include the use of inappropriate components, inaccurate load planning, and insufficient implementation of protection systems such as grounding and circuit breakers. This study aims to analyze the basic principles of residential electrical installation and provide practical guidance for safe and efficient application according to national standards. The research employs a literature review and technical documentation analysis from textbooks, journals, and articles related to residential electrical systems. Data were collected through documentation observation, component specification analysis, and simulation testing of the installation system. The results indicate that proper implementation of electrical installation principles can minimize the risk of short circuits, fires, and equipment damage while optimizing energy consumption. This study also provides step-by-step guidelines for residential electrical installation. The implications of this research include enhancing the understanding of technicians and residents regarding safe and efficient electrical practices and serving as a foundation for developing energy-efficient and well-protected electrical systems.
