Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the need for developing teaching materials for Guidance and Learning Counseling (BKB) courses based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) and case studies. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research respondents were 188 students from education study programs who took the Guidance and Study Counseling course. Data was collected through a needs questionnaire that measured student assessments of various textbook components and learning methods. The data was analyzed using descriptive quantitative to find the average value for each item/statement regarding the components of the BK Belajar textbook material. The results of the quantitative analysis show that students have a high assessment of components that are relevant to the real world, chapter summaries, practice questions, and multimedia elements such as videos and visuals. Passive learning components such as “effective lectures” were rated low. These findings strongly validate the urgency of developing innovative PjBL-based textbooks and case studies to increase students' understanding, motivation and practical skills, while making a significant contribution to improving the quality of education in the field of guidance and counseling.

Abstract

Stress is a psychological challenge that affects an individual's mental health, making effective management strategies necessary. This research aims to examine the role of faith and religious practices in managing stress. The research method used is a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected from national journals, scientific articles, and relevant Islamic literature, with sources selected based on recency and relevance. The results indicate that faith and religious practices such as prayer (salat), supplication, remembrance (dhikr), patience, and sincerity play a role in cultivating inner peace, strengthening psychological resilience, and helping individuals face life's pressures more adaptively. These findings affirm that Islamic psychology offers a comprehensive stress management strategy, covering cognitive, emotional, and spiritual aspects, making it relevant for application in supporting the mental health of students and society at large.

Abstract

The transformation of social interaction from physical spaces to digital environments has created new and complex dynamics in the process of students’ character formation. This study aims to analyze the influence of peer interactions in the digital era on students’ morality and behavior, as well as to formulate relevant mitigation strategies. The study employed a literature review method by examining 15 scholarly articles and reference books published between 2018 and 2025. Data were analyzed using content analysis to synthesize patterns of relationships between digital interactions and changes in student character. The findings indicate that social media–based peer interaction has become a dominant agent of socialization, triggering the phenomenon of digital conformity. This condition contributes to character vulnerability, including the erosion of self-control, gadget addiction, and diminished empathy resulting from the normalization of cyber bullying. These findings suggest that conventional forms of supervision are no longer sufficient to counteract the negative impacts of online interactions. Therefore, this study recommends a reorientation of character education through the integration of digital literacy and the cultivation of internet ethics (netiquette) within school curricula to strengthen students’ moral resilience amid the global flow of information.
