Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir dan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika Siswa masih cukup rendah. Sehingga diperlukannya suatu metode yang cocok untuk menganalisis kesalahan pada soal cerita salah satunya menggunakan tahapan Newman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kesalahan Siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika melalui tahap Newman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang dilakukan di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Kanigoro. Teknik yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan pemberian tes. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah 4 Siswa mengalami kesalahan membaca, 10 Siswa mengalami kesalahan memahami, 6 Siswa mengalami kesalahan transformasi, 9 Siswa mengalami kesalahan keterampilan proses, dan 7 Siswa mengalami kesalahan menuliskan jawaban akhir.

Abstract

Improvements in public health are influenced by changes in advances in science and technology. One aspect that needs to be considered in health is the immune system. As is the case with the people in Dukuh Cantikan, Kepatihan Village, Kaliwates District, Jember Regency, especially mothers, whose daily lives are filled with various activities. All activities carried out every day always take up a lot of time which can cause feelings of boredom and fatigue, thus triggering stress and disrupting health. For this reason, positive activities are needed to overcome this problem. One activity that can maintain the body's immunity is exercise. The aim of this activity is to provide physical and spiritual fitness, as well as provide exercise skills that can broaden mothers' insight. This method of implementing community service uses a form of mentoring and a strategy approach with Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) which is used to improve the quality of human life. This activity was attended by housewives and women from the PKK Dukuh Cantikan, Kepatihan Village, Kaliwates District, Jember Regency. The result of this activity is that apart from producing the next generation as gymnastics instructors, it also increases mothers' awareness of exercising in order to maintain the health of the immune system in the body

Abstract

Sunan Drajat Lamongan Traditional Market is a market with a relatively large number of traders. This market provides various kinds of needs, from household needs, typical Lamongan souvenirs, and etc. However, along with the rapid development of technology, some traders are experiencing difficulties due to the proliferation of online markets circulating in the trading world. Traders stated that now the profit they get is not what it used to be. This is because consumers prefer to shop through digital marking(online markets). Therefore, the team of lecturers at the Sunan Drajat Islamic Boarding School Institute held socialization and assistance in the digital marketing sector, especially the creation of online stalls for Sunan Drajat Lamongan market traders. This activity aims to help traders compete in this digital marketing era. Apart from that, this activity also helps traders to improve and expand the marketing reach of their products through creating online stalls. From this activity, 10 traders have received socialization and assistance regarding creating online shop and how to operate them. In the monitoring carried out, the activity of creating online shop was apparently able to increase the income of traders. Within 2 weeks after the operation of the online shop that had been created, majority traders stated that they received additional income from buyers' orders through the online shop. This is in line with the aim of holding this activity.

Abstract

Cash payments using currency, especially banknote, are often used in buying and selling transactions. Sometimes paying for banknote makes the seller confused about finding change, if the nominal value of the banknote is too large compared to the price of the item. Business actors must also increase their vigilance against the rise of counterfeit banknote. With the QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) payment method, it is hoped that business actors will not have to be confused about looking for change or worry about counterfeit money being widely circulated. There are many benefits of QRIS, such as increasing sales, practical, efficient, safe in transactions, increasing business popularity. Therefore, the service team provides outreach to business actors. The counseling aims to introduce and explain the importance of having QRIS. The team used communicative and interview methods. Business people are very enthusiastic about having QRIS after the team gave a presentation about the QRIS payment method.

Abstract

Students are often afraid of failing and making mistakes, this fear triggers students' low self-confidence. Confidence or self confidence is an important aspect of a person's personality. Self confidence is a part that students must have in order to be able to carry out mathematics learning well. Students who have self confidence in studying mathematics will get maximum results, because self confidence plays an important role in student academic achievement. This research uses qualitative with descriptive type. The research subjects were 23 class XII students majoring in languages. The instrument in this research was a non-test instrument, namely a mathematical self confidence questionnaire consisting of 12 statements. The results showed that (1) 79.02% believed in their own abilities, (2) 52.9% acted independently in making decisions (3) 65.8% had a positive self-concept, (4) 82.76% were brave express an opinion. Meanwhile, the average percentage of all indicators is 70.12% who have good self-confidence and 29.88% lack self-confidence in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Thinking process errors are usually caused by students not understanding the previous material. One of the reasons why students often make mistakes is that they are more interested in memorizing than understanding a material concept. Pseudo-thinking is a way of preparing steps that are inaccurate and not thorough, students tend to be able to answer questions but cannot give reasons. This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive type. The research subjects were class VII students at SMPN 2 Gandusari. The instruments of this research are tests and interviews, for data analysis based on the polya stages. The results of the research show that (1) at the stage of understanding the questions, students experience errors in analogical thinking and constructing concepts because students only understand in simple terms, so that students can explain the answers to the mistakes made, defragmenting and scaffolding are needed, (2) planning problem solving, students make mistakes in placing concepts because students do not understand the concepts and procedures, after being given defragmenting with scaffolding with concepts and procedures students can design problem solutions correctly (3) solve the problem in the problem, the lack of cognitive commitment of students causes students to lose control and break up hope, after being given conflict cognition students can solve the questions from the plans they have made, (4) examining the answers, students consider the answers that have been answered to be correct because they don't really understand the concept requested, after being given it is defragmented with disequilibration students can check the answer again with the concept that was asked. structured and correct Keywords: defragmenting, pseudo thinking, algebra

Abstract

This study employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted in one cycle. The researcher follows the cycle stages, which include pre-implementation, planning, classroom action execution, observation, and reflection, to assess the improvement in students' learning interest. The objective of this research is to determine whether the Make A Match model, supported by digital media, can enhance the learning interest of seventh-grade students at MTs Puspa Bangsa Cluring, consisting of 16 students, in the topic of sets. Data collection techniques utilized by the researcher include learning outcome tests with item validity testing, reliability testing of cognitive test results, differential power testing for each item, and difficulty testing for each question. Additionally, observations and field notes are conducted. The data analysis results indicate that mathematics instruction using the Make A Match model significantly improves students' learning interest, with mastery scores increasing from 31.25% (pre-test) to 87.5% (post-test). Furthermore, students' interest in learning, based on their activity levels, is assessed at 80.56%, categorized as good.

Abstract

The area of a triangle is a basic concept in geometry that has wide applications in various fields, ranging from pure mathematics to applied sciences such as engineering and architecture. An understanding of how to calculate the area of a triangle is essential for solving various problems involving area measurement and calculation. The basic formula for calculating the area of a triangle is half the product of the base and the height (½ × base × height). The teacher's teaching of the proof of the triangle area formula at school, there are some things that create ambiguity in the explanation. Usually the teacher in explaining the origin of ½ of the triangle area formula starts from a square or rectangle that is divided on its diagonal plane, then makes ½ part of the square or rectangle area only. Whereas it can come from other rectangular or quadrilateral planes, which include: square, rectangle, parallelogram, kite, rhombus, trapezium. The formation of ½ in the triangle area formula comes from the ratio equation of total angles and area between triangles and quadrilaterals. So, with the concept ratio equation of total angles and area between triangles and quadrilaterals, students can understand that all quadrilateral flat shapes can be used to find the triangle area formula

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran etnomatematika dalam pembelajaran matematika di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Etnomatematika merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang mengaitkan konsep-konsep matematika dengan budaya lokal, sehingga siswa dapat memahami matematika melalui konteks kehidupan sehari-hari yang lebih dekat dengan mereka. Dalam pembelajaran di SMA, pendekatan ini berpotensi meningkatkan minat belajar, pemahaman konsep, serta sikap positif siswa terhadap matematika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur dan analisis kualitatif terhadap beberapa penerapan etnomatematika dalam materi seperti geometri, pola bilangan, dan statistika. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi etnomatematika mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih kontekstual, interaktif, dan bermakna. Selain itu, pendekatan ini juga memperkuat pelestarian budaya lokal serta menumbuhkan rasa identitas dan kebanggaan siswa terhadap warisan budayanya. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi pendidik untuk mulai mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika sebagai bagian dari inovasi dalam pembelajaran matematika).
