Abstract

Early childhood is an important phase in a person's development. In this period, children are experiencing rapid growth and development, both physically, mentally, and emotionally. This period is also an important foundation in shaping a child's personality, skills, and mindset in the future. The aim of this research is to analyze the development of emotional intelligence in early childhood to collect data that will be used for various purposes from observing the development of emotional intelligence in early childhood according to gelomen theory. This research method is through a literature approach or literature study, which is a study used through searching for journal articles, books about emotional development in early childhood and according to experts' opinions regarding emotional development. The results of this research reveal that emotional intelligence includes the ability to recognize, understand, manage, and direct one's own and other people's emotions. There are four main components in emotional intelligence, namely self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management. Emotional intelligence also includes a person's ability to regulate emotions, maintain and choose ways of expressing them through self-awareness, self-control, empathy, motivation, and social skills.

Abstract

Visual-spatial intelligence is something that children possess. With this intelligence, young children can visualize various activities through activities that can sharpen their minds. This study aims to determine whether playing with guessing pictures can improve the development of visual-spatial intelligence in early childhood at Tk. Citra Mandiri Batang Kuis by knowing how playing guessing pictures can improve the development of visual-spatial intelligence in early childhood group B at Tk. Citra Mandiri Batang Kuis. Based on teacher research in a learning process lacking the method of playing guessing pictures in improving the development of children's spatial-visual intelligence, a class action research method (PTK) was used in the research. Data sources, namely observation and interviews, were used. From the results of the data obtained, it is concluded that in an effort to improve the visual-spatial intelligence of early childhood through playing guess the picture in the pretest, an average of 30% of the criteria is starting to develop (MB). The protest reached an average of 80%, with the criteria developing as expected (BSH). From the results of research on visual-spatial intelligence of early childhood through playing, the picture has increased to reach the criteria for visual indicators of child development.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is a platform that not only helps develop and channel children's talents and interests, but also develops aspects of child development, such as one aspect of art, in this case dance for early childhood. Dance plays an important role in children's development, because dance helps equip children with life skills in accordance with educational goals, namely learning how to or thinking skills, learning to do or the ability to do or act, learning to be or the ability to perform, learning to learn or the skill to learn, and learning to life or the skill to live together. This research aims to find out teachers' strategies for developing dance talent in early childhood and the obstacles faced in developing dance talent in early childhood at the Citra Mandiri Kindergarten Batang Quiz. At the Citra Mandiri Batang Quiz Kindergarten, children who have dance talents can be channeled optimally, which can be seen from the trophies obtained from the results of competitions in which children at the Citra Mandiri Batang Quiz Kindergarten participate. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The results of this research are as follows: the strategies used in developing children's dance talents are providing dance facilities and infrastructure, giving gifts/rewards, choosing interesting songs for children and creating interesting and simple movements, using dance props and dance costumes, holding competitions with other schools, and the teacher has dance talent. This research aims to provide teachers with learning strategies in developing the art of dance in early childhood at TK Citra Mandiri, Batang Kuis sub-district.

Abstract

This writing aims to train PAUD teachers and guardians of PAUD students to provide education, care and be able to maximize children's growth and development by improving nutrition for children, especially in early childhood. This research method is quantitative as is the library method as reference material in writing this article and several other scientific works. Next, the service team provided opportunities for teachers and parents to ask questions and consult with resource persons. The implementation method is in the form of socialization in the RA environment as well as material about child nutrition regarding development and growth in early childhood through parents and teachers. Our hope is that after implementing this service, teachers and parents will care more about children's growth and development so that it runs optimally. Teachers and guardians of students are also able to carry out the best care for their children according to the teachings of the Islamic religion so that children's rights are fulfilled. Providing proper nutrition and care will later help government programs to eradicate stunting in Indonesia.
