This study aims to determine the process of digital archive management at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Padjadjaran through the Sikendi website-based application. This research was also conducted to find out the background of Sikendi's creation, obstacles in its use, and changes that occur in manual archive management with digital management. The method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, literature review, and documentation. The data was then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman data analysis model. The research informants were 2 archivists at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Padjadjaran University. The results showed that archive digitization makes management more efficient and effective. The digital system used, Sikendi, consists of 5 stages, namely creation, categorization, filing, classification coding, and digital media transfer. The obstacles encountered in managing with a digital system are in the aspects of lack of human resources, lack of facilities, and systems that experience errors.

Preservation is a series of activities that include maintenance, care, preservation, and prevention of collection materials. The essence of the existence of preservation activities is to ensure that the information content is in a good condition to be used or accessed in an unspecified time. The purpose of this study is to determine the preservation activities carried out on collection materials at the IKOPIN University Library. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, observation, and literature study. Interviews were conducted with 2 resource persons, namely the Head of the IKOPIN University Library and the user. Interviews and observations were carried out directly. The data analysis carried out is the data analysis model by Miles and Huberman which consists of 3 stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study show that the IKOPIN Library has carried out a series of preservation activities. The activities carried out were packaging books with plastic covers, bookbinding, cleaning book collections, transfer of collection materials, environmental control, temperature regulation, lighting regulation, hygiene monitoring, and awareness training on preservation activities. In the research conducted, it was also found that the factors causing damage to collections in the IKOPIN library were the main factors, namely book characteristics and human factors. The conclusion from the research is that the IKOPIN library has an awareness of the importance of preservation activities, therefore the IKOPIN library has carried out preservation activities both actively, passively, and preventively. The preservation implementation found 2 obstacles, namely in the field of HR (Human Resources) and the field of funding.

The purpose of this research is to explain the meaning of cataloging, analyze the processing of library materials, and carry out cataloging activities on library materials at Tanda Baca Pustaka Library Tangerang Regency. This research also discusses about Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (public reading park),, Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), bibliography, and Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS). This research used descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used in the research were literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation. The object studied was the processing of library materials at the Tanda Baca Library in Tangerang Regency, and the subject or informant was the manager of the Tanda Baca Library, Muhamaad Jaenudin. The results of the study show that the Tanda Baca Library has not processed its library materials. Researchers then carried out management activities by cataloging existing library materials using SLiMS. The process carried out is to enter various information on library materials in the bibliographic menu in SLiMS. From this process, the author managed to catalog 26 copies of books with 25 titles. Suggestions from researchers, Tanda Baca Pustaka Library can process its library materials so that the library is better managed and continues to grow. Tanda Baca Pustaka Library is also expected to continue to be processed, and managed properly because its existence is very beneficial for the surrounding community, especially children and teenagers.
