Abstract

The use of solenoid magnets in welding processes has attracted attention due to their potential to influence the properties of welded joints. This research investigates the effect of the size of the magnetic induction solenoid on the tensile strength and impact toughness of welds between mild steel and medium carbon steel. Welding experiments were carried out using various sizes of solenoid magnets (0; 1.71mT; 2.11mT; 2.31mT; 2.60mT), and the welding results were tested for tensile strength and impact toughness. The findings show that the size of the magnetic induction solenoid has a significant effect on the mechanical properties of the weld. The larger induction size in this study increased the tensile strength of the welded joint, namely 431.576 N/mm2 without induction and 533.33 N/mm2 with induction. Meanwhile, the impact toughness of welded joints also increases, namely 95.92N.m without treatment and 217.35N.m with induction.

Abstract

Philosophy of science, which literally means the love of wisdom, has an important role in building the theoretical foundation for various disciplines, including Islamic education management. In this context, the philosophy of science helps to integrate Islamic principles with the demands of modern science, so that it can answer global challenges in education. This study aims to analyze the position of philosophy of science as a foundation in the development of Islamic educational management theory, as well as understand how philosophy of science provides a strong theoretical framework to build educational management theory that is in accordance with the characteristics and mission of Islamic education. This research uses a library research approach by examining various literature related to the philosophy of science and Islamic education management. The results of the study show that the philosophy of science functions as the foundation of ontology, epistemology, and axiology in the development of Islamic education management theory. The philosophy of science helps explain the nature of knowledge, how to acquire knowledge, and the values that underlie the practice of educational management. This research makes an important contribution to understanding the role of philosophy of science in building an effective and efficient theory of Islamic education management. With the foundation of philosophy of science, the development of Islamic educational management theory can be carried out scientifically and systematically, ensuring its relevance in the contemporary context without losing Islamic characteristics.

Abstract

CT scan abdomen merupakan prosedur pencitraan radiologi yang digunakan untuk mendeteksi adanya tumor ovarium. Pemeriksaan ini sering dilakukan tanpa kontras untuk mengidentifikasi massa abnormal di rongga perut. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis prosedur pemeriksaan CT scan abdomen non kontras dengan klinis tumor ovarium serta mengevaluasi informasi yang diperoleh dari hasil pencitraan. Studi ini dilakukan di RSUD Cut Nyak Dhien Meulaboh Aceh Besar dengan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prosedur pemeriksaan dilakukan dengan posisi pasien supine, menggunakan parameter standar dan teknik rekonstruksi citra axial, sagital, dan coronal. Hasil pencitraan memperlihatkan adanya massa tumor dengan batas tegas serta ukuran besar tumor. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa CT scan abdomen non kontras dapat menjadi pilihan metode diagnostik untuk mendeteksi tumor ovarium tanpa menggunakan kontras.

Abstract

Program Bantuan Alat TIK merupakan upaya pemerintah dalam peningkatan literasi digital proses pembelajaran dan asesmen. Namun, program ini masih memiliki kendala yaitu pemberian bantuan belum merata dan memenuhi target. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital di SMP Dharma Karya UT dalam rangka mendukung program transformasi digital pendidikan dalam pembelajaran dan asesmen. SMP Dharma Karya memiliki keterbatasan fasilitas komputer. Sebagai solusi, tim pengusul dari Universitas Terbuka memberikan bantuan fisik berupa perangkat Chromebook serta pelatihan intensif dan pendampingan penggunaannya dalam proses pembelajaran dan asesmen nasional berbasis komputer (ANBK). Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap: pertama, pelatihan literasi digital dan eksplorasi alat bantu TIK; kedua, peningkatan keterampilan digital guru dan siswa melalui implementasi Google Workspace for Education (GWE). Metode evaluasi dilakukan dengan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan literasi digital pesert antara sebelum pelatihan dan setelah pelatihan dalam bentuk GAP Analisis. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam literasi digital guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran dan ANBK.

Abstract

Ultrasound examination is one of the main modalities to be an important tool used to determine fetal growth and development in pregnant women such as fetal weight in order to prevent stunting, complications and other abnormalities so that they can be treated early, quickly and accurately for the health of the mother and fetus. Purpose :to determine the role of ultrasound in relation to weight gain of pregnant women and fetuses through Fetal Biometry. Method used a descriptive qualitative design, with a sample of 37 pregnant. Results: most fetuses over 30 weeks old weigh between 2500-3500 grams (normal). and there are some fetuses with lower weight (below 2500 grams), which may require further monitoring regarding the possibility of intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR). Conclusion: most pregnant women experienced weight gain in accordance with pregnancy standards, and there were several cases of low-weight mothers who needed more attention in terms of nutrition.
