Abstract

Unwahas pencak silat athletes have poor sickle kick speed, because every sickle kick attack is easily anticipated by the opponent, one of the training methods to increase sickle kick speed is zig-zag run and ladder drill taps. So this study aims to determine the effect zig-zag run and ladder drill taps exercises on sickle kick speed of Unwahas pencak silat athletes. This research is an experimental research with a quantitative approach. zig-zag run and ladder drill taps exercises are carried out four weeks and three times each week. The population in this study were 40 UNWAHAS pencak silat athletes. Sampling using purposive sampling, namely the sampling technique according to the criteria. The study was conducted in May-June and the number of samples taken was 10 people. The results showed that: (1) there was a significant effect of zig-zag run training with the results of the t test with a Sig (2-tailed) value of right crescent 0.000 and crescent left with a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 where the p value <0.05 means that there is a significant effect. (2) there is a significant effect of the ladder drill taps exercise by obtaining a t test value of sig (2-tailed) 0.001 right sickle, and obtaining a Sig (2- tailed) value of 0.001 left sickle where the p value <0.05 means that there is a significant effect . (3) there is more influence which exercise is more effective by finding the difference or the mean results of the two groups, by obtaining the results of the comparison of the average value of zig-zag run = 23.00, ladder drill taps average value of 20.90, so zig-zag zag run > ladder drill taps. Thus it can be concluded that the zig-zag run exercise and ladder drill taps both have an effect on the sickle kick speed of Unwahas UKM pencak silat athletes, but there is something that is more influential on the sickle kick speed of Unwahas UKM pencak silat athletes, namely by using the zig-zag run exercise

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh latihan dengan media sasaran tembok bergaris terhadap peningkatan keterampilan passing atas dan passing bawah pada atlet bola voli di MA Abadiyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen yang mengadopsi model pre-test dan post-test. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 10 orang atlet. Analisis data menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan dari latihan dengan sasaran tembok bergaris terhadap keterampilan passing. Hasil uji statistik memperlihatkan bahwa pada passing atas, nilai t-hitung sebesar 2,799 lebih besar dibandingkan nilai t-tabel 2,228 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Sedangkan pada passing bawah, diperoleh nilai t-hitung sebesar 2,348 yang juga melebihi t-tabel 2,228. Analisis peningkatan persentase menunjukkan bahwa latihan passing atas mengalami peningkatan sebesar 64,2%, sementara passing bawah meningkat sebesar 46,8%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode latihan menggunakan sasaran tembok bergaris memberikan dampak positif terhadap kemampuan passing, dan teknik passing atas mendapatkan hasil yang lebih optimal dibandingkan passing bawah pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bola voli di MA Abadiyah.

Abstract

Physical education plays a crucial role in the development of students' physical skills, including high jump. However, many students face difficulties in achieving optimal results in this sport. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of high jump in fifth-grade students at SDN Mendongan Sumowono through a play-based method using cardboard. The subjects of the study consisted of 31 students. The method used is classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The instrument used is a high jump performance test. The results show that the average score of students in pre-action activities was 69.56 with a completeness percentage of 32.36%. In cycle I, the average score increased to 73.39 with a completeness percentage of 64.52%. After proceeding to cycle II, the average score of students further increased to 77.22 with a completeness percentage of 90.32%. These results indicate that the cardboard jumping game method is effective in enhancing students' high jump skills. The research was stopped in cycle II as the set target had been achieved.
