Abstract

This research illustrates the pedagogical competence of PPL (Field Experience Program) students in the PGMI program at STAI Miftahul Ulum Tanjungpinang in instructional design for primary schools (SD/MI). The study involved 35 seventh-semester students of the PGMI program who participated in the PPL during the Academic Year 2022/2023. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method with data collected through observation and questionnaires. The results indicate that students have good competence in understanding the characteristics of students, curriculum development, lesson planning and implementation, technology utilization, and evaluation of learning outcomes. From the obtained data, it is evident that the understanding of student characteristics has an average score of 88.60, categorized as very good. Understanding curriculum development obtains an average score of 86.00, categorized as very good. Lesson planning and implementation have an average score of 85.75, categorized as very good. The level of technology utilization in learning by students reaches an average score of 84.50, categorized as good. Meanwhile, the ability to evaluate learning outcomes in teaching has an average score of 87.67, categorized as very good. The PGMI educational program has successfully aligned with the standard competence of educators. This research contributes significantly to the improvement of educational programs and PPL in the future

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SD Negeri 005 Tanjungpinang Timur, focusing on textbook availability, teaching strategies, technology use, teacher professional development, challenges, and solutions. Using interviews, observations, and document analysis, the study found that despite challenges such as resource limitations and the need for additional teacher training, the school has made efforts to overcome these obstacles. Most textbooks align with the Merdeka Curriculum, though some teachers still use older materials as references. Teachers have adopted interactive and innovative teaching strategies, utilizing technology to enhance learning. The study concludes that while the implementation is going well, some improvements and adjustments are needed. This research contributes positively to the school's educational development and can serve as a reference for other schools implementing the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis cerita dengan baik dapat memberikan banyak keuntungan bagi mahasiswa calon guru dalam dunia pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas pentingnya kemampuan menulis cerita dalam mengembangkan ide-ide kreatif dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif untuk memberikan gambaran tentang kemampuan menulis cerita mahasiswa PGMI semester IV. Sampel penelitian adalah 24 mahasiswa PGMI semester IV dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tertulis dan observasi untuk mengevaluasi karya tulis mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan pengumpulan data dari cerita yang ditulis oleh mahasiswa, skor rata-rata untuk kelengkapan cerita adalah 3,83 (sangat baik), untuk ketepatan alur cerita adalah 3,58 (baik), untuk pengembangan karakterisasi tokoh adalah 3,5 (baik), untuk pesan cerita adalah 3,63 (baik), dan untuk penggunaan bahasa yang tepat dan efektif adalah 3,41 (baik). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa PGMI semester IV memiliki kemampuan menulis cerita yang baik dan mampu memenuhi kriteria yang telah ditetapkan.
