Abstract

This research aims to explain that Indonesia plays an important role in promoting the use of Local Currency Settlement and Cross-Border QR Code while holding the ASEAN chairmanship position in 2023. Local Currency Settlement functions to settle bilateral transactions between countries in one Southeast Asian region using the currencies of each of these countries. The presence of the LCS was motivated by high global inflation due to geopolitical tensions and rising US Dollar interest rates, so that this situation became an opportunity for ASEAN member countries to use local currencies. The purpose of this research is to analyze the efficiency of the LCS as a method of trade transactions in the Southeast Asia region in strengthening economic integration and reducing dependence on the US Dollar. Even the LCS is the main instrument that has the impact of strengthening currency stability in the Southeast Asian countries themselves, making export-import activities easier for each other, and creating ease in the process of foreign capital inflows into the region. In addition, Indonesia also bears more responsibility in dealing with obstacles to the promotion and use of the Cross-border QR Code as a technology that will facilitate local currency transactions for ASEAN, which is expected to be carried out properly through the systems and strategies that have been designed. In this research using qualitative analysis methods, as well as the theory of integration of economic areas according to Van Niekerk related to Indonesia's role in promoting the efficiency of LCS and Cross-border QR Code in ASEAN. This research concludes that Indonesia invites every ASEAN member to use this LCS, because it will create conditions in accordance with the theme of the 2023 ASEAN Summit, where Southeast Asia has the potential to become the epicentrum of regional economic growth from now on into the future. Abstract

The research reveals that power turbulence in Southeast Asia is caused by the involvement of major states in the region. Such involvement has implications for two levels of analysis, where there is a balance of power of intrusive states and a balance of power of regional states. The anomaly is that regional security is created with a high tendency for conflict and politics. The effort to deconstruct this anomaly uses the governmentality power approach and the genealogy method initiated by Michel Foucault. Philosophical debates arise when disciplining and normalizing the history of power and knowledge of intrusive systems. He confirmed that regional order is related to global power. In this regard, this research is limited to revealing the involvement of countries outside the Southeast Asian region carried out since the pre-colonial era by India and China. There is disciplining and normalizing through the censorship of panopticon governmentality and genealogy of power so that the relations of power and knowledge of intrusive systems carried out by countries outside the region gain population approval as contemporary patterns of power produced throughout history and have implications for power.

Abstract

The Korean Wave has constructed a significant cultural force, shaping global identities through entertainment media such as K-pop, K-dramas, and K-movies. Contextually, this study explores how the Korean Wave creates a hyperreality that dominates the consciousness of global society, including Indonesia. Using Jean Baudrillard's theoretical framework of hyperreality, the research demonstrates how South Korean culture, as represented through media, transcends mere reflection of reality to create a new reality that supplants local identities. Through qualitative analysis, the findings reveal that the Korean Wave has become a powerful soft power tool for South Korea, redefining cultural preferences and displacing local traditions. In Indonesia, this phenomenon is evident in the widespread popularity of K-pop and K-dramas, which dominate media consumption and influence lifestyles, behaviors, and mindsets. Under the lens of hyperreality, South Korean culture is not only adopted but also idolized as an idealized reality. The study highlights the implications of the Korean Wave in fostering cultural hegemony, which weakens the uniqueness of local identities. It underscores the need for critical awareness of hyperreality’s influence and emphasizes efforts to preserve local culture amid the intensifying wave of cultural globalization driven by the Korean Wave.

Abstract

The application of digitalization in the era of industry 4.0 is growing rapidly. Ayoola Coffee & Eatery, one of the MSMEs in the Bintaro area, Tangerang, is experiencing problems in the digitalization of food and beverage ordering. Ayoola Coffee & Eatery is an MSME founded by Mrs. Dewi Irfan in Bintaro, South Tangerang. This business combines the concept of a cafe and art gallery, providing food, drinks, and space for local artists to sell their work. The vision and mission of the partners are to open up employment opportunities for lower-class people to be more prosperous, as well as provide opportunities for them to develop their skills. Currently, these orders can only be made through the cashier, resulting in long queues when busy. This Community Service aims to overcome this problem by implementing a digital system using through the use of QR codes, so that customers can order directly from the table without having to queue. The solutions designed include the development of a website application that displays the menu and allows online ordering, integrated with the Moka Point of Sale (POS) system via API. This system is expected to improve operational efficiency, speed up service, and provide a better customer experience. Through the digitalization of this system, customers can scan the QR code on each table to access the menu, order, and make payments. This implementation also allows MSMEs to optimize inventory management, speed up transactions, and improve the accuracy of sales reporting. The implementation method involves the application of Moka POS to help MSMEs face challenges in the digital era and increase their competitiveness through service digitalization. Based on the results obtained, it is known that the automatic ordering system works according to the desired function. ABSTRAK Penerapan digitalisasi pada era industri 4.0 berkembang pesat.
