Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of viral news on social media on the settlement of criminal cases, especially persecution by the Kolaka Police satreskrim. The theoretical study uses uses and gratification theory with a focus on variables, namely viral content on social media (independent variable) and case resolution (dependent variable). The research used a survey model on 37 police officers who handled the case, as well as the public as many as 100 respondents. Quantitative data processing with a simple linear regression model. The results showed that there was a weak influence of viral reporting of persecution cases from the community side by 26.4%. In contrast to that, from the side of police officers, the survey showed a very small influence of only 1.6%. Thus viral news of persecution cases will not increase the resolution of criminal cases in existing law enforcement.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategies implemented by the Directorate of Cyber Crime (DITTIPIDSIBER) Bareskrim Polri Headquarters in preventing and enforcing the law against the spread of child pornography based on the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (UU ITE). The research approach used is descriptive qualitative using interview, observation and documentation study methods. The research results show that the strategy implemented by DITTIPIDSIBER includes preventive and repressive approaches. Preventive efforts include digital education and literacy for the public, collaboration with internet service providers, and monitoring online activities through digital forensic technology. Meanwhile, repressive efforts were carried out through in-depth investigations using digital tracking techniques, online disguise, and coordination with international law enforcement agencies. However, there are various challenges in implementing this strategy, such as technological limitations in detecting illegal content which continues to develop, regulations that have not fully accommodated technological changes, and low public awareness in reporting cybercrime cases.

Abstract

The phenomenon of cyberbullying has become a serious issue that has emerged in conjunction with the development of digital technology in the modern era. This article analyzes the impact of this criminal phenomenon on the social life of the community in the context of the digital era. In this analysis, we highlight the behavioral changes and social dynamics caused by the spread of cyberbullying, as well as its implications for well-being and social interaction. The research method used in this study is qualitative research. The research results indicate that the rapid growth of digital technology has brought complex consequences to human social life. One prominent impact is the emergence of the phenomenon of cyberbullying. This analysis demonstrates how such behavior has altered the way communities interact, communicate, and experience psychosocial effects. Cyberbullying has significantly impacted the social life of the community. A society that was previously connected by technology is now facing the risk of division due to derogatory treatment through digital media. This has an impact on the quality of social interactions, where feelings of safety and trust in interaction can be eroded by uncertainty about potential negative treatment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas collaborative governance dalam upaya mitigasi dan penanggulangan bencana alam yang terjadi di Kabupaten Purbalingga. Penanggulangan bencana ini menjadi salah satu langkah strtagis yang dilakukan secara bertahap oleh pemerintah baik di level pemerintah daerah sampai pemerintah pusat seiring dengan perubahan iklim dan cuaca yang sangat cepat memungkinkan terjadinya bencana alam yang menimpa masyarakat. Kabupaten Purbalingga merupakan salah satu daerah yang memiliki kecenderungan tinggi terhadap bahaya bencana yang terjadi dimasyarakat yang menimbuklan potensi resiko dampak yang tinggi terhadap perlindungan kehidupan masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagimana proses collaborative yang dilakukan antara pemerintah daerah, kelompok masyarakat, dan pihak swasta dalam bekerjasama dan bersinergi untuk melakukan mitigasi dan menanggulangi terhadap daerah yang rawan bencan alam. Penelitian ini melihat bagaimana masing-masing pihak berperan dan saling bertanggungjawab satu sama lain yang tertuang dalam satu komitmen bersama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, teknik analisis data menggunakan triangulasi data dan sumber, sedangkan informan dipilih berdasarkan kemampuan sesuai dengan kaidah purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini terbagi atas beberapa aspek yang meliputi kondisi awal dalam proses collaborative governance dengan melihat situasi dan kondisi daerah yang terindikasi rawan bencana alam di Kabupaten Purbalingga. Forum komunikasi yang terjaring dalam masyarakat mulai dari level pemerintah desa, kelurahan, sampai tingkat kabupaten. Forum yang digunakan koordinasi melalui kelompok tanggap bencana yang selama ini tersebar di masing-masing desa dan kelurahan salah satunya di Desa Karangbawang Kecamatan Rembang Kabupaten Purbalingga. Hasil dari proses collaborative governance ini mampu berjalan sesuai yang direncanakan, sehingga secara bertahap pemerintah, masyarakat maupun pihak lainnya mampu menggerakan kelompok tanggap bencana dan meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepedulian bahaya bencana alam dan menjadi edukasi masyarakat pentingnya penerapan mitigasi, antisipasi, kesiapsiagaan sebagai wujud upaya perlindungan dan penanggulangan bencana alam. kolaborasi pemerintah; penanggulangan bencana

Abstract

Background: Moral education in schools needs to be carried out seriously to build a quality generation of the nation. Although the main role in educating children's morals is the role of parents, teachers in schools also play a big role in realizing the morals students should have. Families, schools and communities are also responsible for educating the younger generation to have good morals and intellectual intelligence so that a superior young generation can be created. The development of ethics and morals in schools is also very important for every teacher to pay attention to, considering that this is where students begin to become familiar with various fields of scientific study. During this period, students also begin to realize their identity as human beings who begin to grow with the various problems that accompany it. Method: The method used in this community service goes through several stages, namely: location survey, coordination of time, place and implementation, as well as delivery of ethical and moral material. Armed with noble moral values obtained through the learning process in the classroom and outside the classroom, students are expected to become human beings with character and knowledge who are ready to be developed at a higher level of education. Because everyone definitely has goals in life, whether short-term, medium-term or long-term goals. Conclusion: Moral education in schools must also be designed to cover various aspects, namely: educators, materials, methods and evaluation so that the results are expected to be optimal.
