Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan higher order thinking skill peserta didik kelas X melalui penerapan model problem based learning. Desain yang digunakan yaitu quasi eksperimen: Posttest only control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMAN 12 Pekanbaru  tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dengan sampel berjumlah 72 orang yang terdiri dari kelas X MIPA-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 36 orang dan kelas X MIPA-4 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 36 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa tes HOTS materi gerak melingkar yang terdiri dari 13 soal pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif melalui nilai rata-rata kemampuan higher order thinking skill siswa dan analisis inferensial melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kemampuan higher order thinking skill peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen (model problem based learning) lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol dan terdapat perbedaan signifikan kemampuan higher order thinking skill peserta didik antara kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model problem based learning dengan kelas kontrol yang menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

E-learning is a system carried out via electronic media, such as computers, tablets, or smartphones. E-learning platforms provide greater flexibility and accessibility for students to access learning materials anytime and anywhere. Based on the analysis conducted, 85.9% of students felt happy with e-learning, and 88.5% of students felt comfortable with e-learning-based learning because the features contained in e-learning helped students understand the material and were easy to use. This research expects to develop and test the validity and practicality of the PBL-based Edukati platform in increasing students' valid and practical understanding of concepts. This research is development research carried out using the ADDIE-type instructional design model. This research was completed only up to the development stage, namely at the validity and practicality stage. In view of the aftereffects of the validity test, the result was 3.30. Based on the results of the teacher's practicality test, the result was 3.88 and the students’ practicality was 3.43, so it tends to be expressed that e-learning with an issue-based learning instructive stage to prepare comprehension understudies might interpret ideas in impulse and momentum material is in the valid and very practical category. Based on the results of the validity and practicality that have been carried out, e-learning with an educational platform based on problem-based learning to train understanding of concepts is suitable for use.

Abstract

The independent curriculum was developed as a more flexible curriculum framework, centered on basic material and developing students' uniqueness and abilities. One way that can be used to develop students' abilities is through learning media that is in accordance with student characteristics. This study aims to analyze students' interest in using learning media in the form of e-learning in physics learning. The research methodology used is a qualitative method using data collection techniques through teacher interviews and student response questionnaires. The objects of the study were several high schools in North Sumatra and Pekanbaru and a sample of 81 students. Based on the results of the student response questionnaire, 92.6% of students were interested in learning using e-learning, and 100% of students already had cellphones so that they supported the development of E-learning learning media. E-learning is one of the innovations in the field of education in the form of a learning system carried out through electronic media, such as computers, tablets, or smartphones that can be accessed without time and distance limits.
