Abstract

Environmental health workers play an important role in environmental factors that can affect health, such as clean water, sanitation, clean air, and waste management. This study aims to conduct a systematic review to investigate the impact of environmental health workers on stunting incidence. Full articles covering observational studies (cross-sectional, cohort, and case-control) published between 2012 and 2024 will be included. Article data collection was carried out by searching for articles in the Google Scholar, PubMed, and Science Direct search databases. Relevant data on the role of environmental health workers and stunting incidence will be extracted, presented systematically, and analyzed to identify patterns or relationships. This study showed there is a significant relationship between the role of environmental health workers and the incidence of stunting in children. It’s can be conclude that the influence of environmental health workers on the incidence of stunting. Keywords: Stunting, Environmental Health Officer, Prevention, Public Health

Abstract

E-learning is a system carried out via electronic media, such as computers, tablets, or smartphones. E-learning platforms provide greater flexibility and accessibility for students to access learning materials anytime and anywhere. Based on the analysis conducted, 85.9% of students felt happy with e-learning, and 88.5% of students felt comfortable with e-learning-based learning because the features contained in e-learning helped students understand the material and were easy to use. This research expects to develop and test the validity and practicality of the PBL-based Edukati platform in increasing students' valid and practical understanding of concepts. This research is development research carried out using the ADDIE-type instructional design model. This research was completed only up to the development stage, namely at the validity and practicality stage. In view of the aftereffects of the validity test, the result was 3.30. Based on the results of the teacher's practicality test, the result was 3.88 and the students’ practicality was 3.43, so it tends to be expressed that e-learning with an issue-based learning instructive stage to prepare comprehension understudies might interpret ideas in impulse and momentum material is in the valid and very practical category. Based on the results of the validity and practicality that have been carried out, e-learning with an educational platform based on problem-based learning to train understanding of concepts is suitable for use.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze research trends related to flipped classrooms in physics learning from 2019 to 2023 through bibliometric analysis. The research trends consistently show a growing interest in flipped classrooms as a relevant and compelling topic in physics education. Using bibliometric mapping techniques, several distinct clusters were identified, including purple, blue, green, and orange clusters. Key keywords such as flipped classroom, physics, and student emerged as prominent themes. Furthermore, the top five authors and affiliated institutions contributing to this research were identified, with the largest contributions originating from Indonesia. The research was conducted by systematically collecting data from the Scopus database using the keywords "flipped classroom" and "physics" for the selected time frame. Data were analyzed using VOSviewer, focusing on three types of visualizations: network visualization, overlay visualization, and density visualization. Microsoft Excel was used to graph publication trends and document distribution, providing additional insights into the results. The findings of this study highlight the significant potential of flipped classrooms to improve students' understanding of physics learning by employing participatory methodologies and engaging students directly in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the ELPSA Framework in enhancing the mathematical literacy skills of seventh-graders at SMP IT Cendekia Takengon. The research employed a quantitative approach using an experimental design. Data were collected through tests and analyzed using an independent sample t-test. The findings revealed a significant improvement in mathematical literacy skills among students in the experimental group compared to those in the control group. This improvement was evident in the N-Gain test results, indicating that 35% of the students in the experimental group achieved a high level of mathematical literacy, while 65% attained a moderate level, with an average Gain of 0.68, categorized as moderate. Moreover, the post-intervention assessment of mathematical literacy skills in the experimental group revealed that prior to ELPSA implementation, student's mathematical literacy indicated a concentration at First Level proficiency, with a smaller portion reaching Second Level. Following the introduction of the ELPSA framework, a positive shift was observed. The number of students at First Level decreased to only six, 16 students achieved Second Level, four demonstrated Third Level proficiency, six reached fourth Level, and two students achieved Fifth Level proficiency. However, none of students able to reach the Sixth level. The hypothesis test results indicated that the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected, confirming a significant difference in the improvement of mathematical literacy skills between students taught using the ELPSA Framework and those instructed using conventional teaching approaches employed by the school's teachers.

Abstract

Kulit merupakan bagian terluar tubuh yang berfungsi sebagai pelindung. Oleh karena itu, kulit sangat rentan terhadap paparan agen fisik yang dapat menyebabkan kerusakan sel, yang menyebabkan penuaan dini. Salah satu cara untuk mencegah dan mengatasi penuaan adalah melalui penggunaan senyawa antioksidan. Salah satu sumber antioksidan alami adalah tanaman kelapa sawit yang diolah menjadi minyak kelapa sawit merah. Minyak kelapa sawit merah merupakan turunan minyak kelapa sawit yang mengandung berbagai senyawa antioksidan tinggi. Formulasi nanoemulsi banyak digunakan dalam kosmetik karena sifat estetikanya yang stabil dan luas permukaannya yang tinggi, yang memungkinkan pengiriman bahan aktif secara efektif ke kulit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memformulasi nanoemulsi minyak kelapa sawit merah menggunakan metode emulsifikasi berenergi tinggi untuk menghasilkan formulasi yang dapat memperbaiki tanda-tanda penuaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara eksperimental, yang melibatkan persiapan nanoemulsi dengan konsentrasi minyak kelapa sawit merah 15% dan 25%, karakterisasi fisik formulasi, pengujian iritasi, dan pengukuran efektivitas anti-penuaan menggunakan skin analyzer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi 25% dengan ukuran partikel 37 nm terbukti paling efektif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas anti-penuaan, terutama dalam meningkatkan kelembaban dan elastisitas kulit serta mengurangi hiperpigmentasi kulit. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa minyak olein sawit merah memiliki aktivitas anti-penuaan yang optimal, stabil, dan aman untuk digunakan.

Abstract

The increasingly severe global warming that is occurring is encouraging companies to become more environmentally conscious. One significant measure is the creation of environmentally benign products, wherein green marketing serves to cultivate a favorable reputation. The objective of this study is to ascertain the role of green marketing as a mediator in the relationship between attitudes towards green products, green price awareness, Green customer value, and Online green purchase intentions. A quantitative approach was employed in this study, which utilized a purposive sampling method to recruit 172 customers in Indonesia who had previously purchased skincare products Online. Moreover, the data were analyzed using Smart PLS. The results demonstrate that green marketing exerts a direct and indirect influence on green product purchase intention. This study also reveals that marketers must enhance consumer awareness of the benefits and impacts of green products through informative campaigns or advertisements. By leveraging signaling and the Attitude-Behavior-Context (ABC) theory, marketers can cultivate positive attitudes toward green products, thereby strengthening purchase intentions. Moreover, pricing that aligns with the perceived benefits by consumers is crucial to maintaining the purchase intention of green products.
