Abstract

This article explains the concept of husnul huluq (noble morals) as the core of improving students' character. The implementation of Husnul Huluq is an example that is formed in the students' personalities. Husnul Huluq in this article is the result of an analysis of al-Ghazali's thinking. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research type of research. The primary source is al-Ghazali's work Ihya Ulumuddin and supporting sources are Mukhtasar Ihya Ulumuddin, Ihya Ulumuddin for Modern People and Bidayah al-Hidayah. Data analysis is presented descriptively, along with data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The discussion results showed that educators need to understand the concept of AL-Ghazali, which focuses on character education and the idea of husnul Huluq (noble morals) in students. Husnul Huluq is a milestone in character education that is in accordance with what is expected by Islamic law. Husnul Huluq means to instil an example in students: 1) Prioritize soul purification and worship. 2) Tawakal. 3) Sincere character. 4) Solidarity. 5) Love helpful knowledge. 6) Be honest. 7) Simplicity. 8) Be patient. 9) Gratitude. 10) Meek attitude. The implementation of Husnul Huluq, which is instilled as character building in students, is carried out using the teacher's method of providing examples, exercises, modelling and habituation, which is added with advice, suggestions or warnings as an educational instrument to develop students' personalities.

Abstract

This study presents the professionalism of teachers. Some of the considerations that became the main reason for choosing this issue include; there are demands from society in modernization that are sweeping all aspects of people's lives, and there is differentiation and specialization that occurs among those who want an increase in every profession according to their respective fields. Bulurejo Tempursari Lumajang Islamic Middle School is an object of research based on the consideration that at that SMP there has never been any research that raises the issue of teacher professionalism. The specifics of the problem are whether the teaching staff at the Bulurejo Tempursari Lumajang Islamic Middle School can be categorized as professional teachers. Based on research data that has been analyzed by teachers at the Bulurejo Tempursari Islamic Middle School, it is not 100% that they can be categorized as professional teachers. This is because the teaching profession they carry out does not fully meet the existing aspects of teacher professionalism. However, teachers still have the desire to seek to become professionals. Several things become obstacles for them to be categorized as professional teachers, among others, there are still many of them who are not yet members of professional teacher organizations, lack independence and a future-oriented attitude, lack of facilities needed by teachers, and lack of effort to increase the professionalism of teachers and the school.

Abstract

Improving the quality of student input requires school marketing management that can be accepted by the wider community and is able to establish harmonious relationships with the community so that it can involve them actively in order to realize school and educational goals, work with the management team, and succeed in realizing school goals productively according to with stipulated conditions. School marketing management in carrying out cooperation is by building relationships, strengthening internal networks, intelligently utilizing the momentum of cooperation, training mass mobility and diversifying. So that by strengthening the management of the school or school will be superior. The results of this study are: 1) School marketing management in improving the quality of student input at Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Midad Sumberejo Sukodono is carried out in several ways, namely through publication, socialization, collaboration with alumni and the mass media, 2) The results of school marketing management in improving the quality of student input from the last three years starting in 2018 there were 343 students, in 2019 it increased to 371 students and in 2020 it increased to 441 students. In terms of student quality, there has also been an increase, in 2018 students with excellent quality entered as many as 50 students, in 2019 as many as 65 students and in 2020 as many as 67 students, 3) The supporting factors are marketing management designed systematically, collaboration with professional teachers, Meanwhile the inhibiting factor is the delivery of information data to improve the image is still lacking, inadequate facilities and do not master information delivery techniques, limited time for school marketing administrators when serving the external public, the school's marketing function has not functioned properly.

Abstract

This study examines the strategies employed by MAN 1 Lumajang, an Islamic secondary school in Indonesia, to adapt to the government's educational digitalization policies in the context of Society 5.0. In response to the growing need for digital integration in education, the study investigates how the school has navigated the challenges of limited infrastructure, varying levels of digital literacy among teachers, and unequal access to technology among students. This qualitative case study investigates the strategies employed by MAN 1 Lumajang to adapt to educational digitalization under Society 5.0. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with school leadership, ICT teachers, and students, classroom observations, and document analysis. Thematic analysis was used to identify key strategies, including digital infrastructure procurement, ongoing teacher training, and the use of platforms like Moodle and Google Classroom. Despite these efforts, challenges such as inconsistent technology access and the need for a more adaptive curriculum remain. The study highlights the importance of strategic planning, teacher professional development, and equitable access to technology in successfully integrating digital tools in Islamic education. The findings offer valuable insights for madrasahs aiming to balance digitalization with Islamic values.
