Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh sebuah fenomena bahwa siswa sering mengalami kejenuhan dalam mempelajari Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam. Hal ini berdampak pada minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran tersebut. Oleh karena itu, perlunya strategi khusus dari guru Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut penelitian yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Karena data yang diperoleh berupa data verbal yang didapatkan melalui percakapan atau melalui tanya jawab. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu obsevasi dan wawancara. Untuk dapat mencapai hasil belajar yang diinginkan seorang guru harus menguasai kelas dan bisa merancang strategi pembelajaran yang cocok untuk menyampaikan materi yang akan diajarkan agar bisa memotivasi siswa supaya lebih giat lagi dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Seperti halnya di MTs Al-Istiqomah Kapu untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa guru Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam menggunakan beberapa strategi, diantaranya yaitu menggunakan media yang sesuai dengan materi, memberikan pujian, bimbingan, penguatan serta motivasi. Tanpa strategi yang jelas, proses belajar mengajar tidak akan terarah sehingga tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan tidak berlangsung sesuai dengan rencana.

Abstract

Marketing Management of Education Services In Increasing the Number of Students In Primary Education Institutions Halimatuzzahrah1M.Zulfahmi Akbar2 Institut Agama Islam Nurul Hakim Lombok Barat Email: zahrah211096@gmail.com1akbarfahmi636@gmail.com Abstract This study investigates the role of educational services marketing management strategies in increasing the number of students at MI Nurul Hikmah Lantan. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, data were obtained through interviews with various related parties, such as managers, teachers, students, and parents. The content analysis method was used to analyze the collected data. The findings of this study indicate that MI Nurul Hikmah Lantan successfully implemented an educational services marketing management strategy by emphasizing the education services mix, namely product, price, place, process, promotion, distribution, and people. First, the school focuses on the quality of educational services by ensuring that the curriculum provided meets students' needs and meets applicable educational standards. Second, regarding promotion, MI Nurul Hikmah Lantan adopts various marketing strategies, including social media, the official website, and participation in education fairs to increase exposure and attract prospective students and parents. Third, special attention is paid to pricing and distribution by providing free tuition and conducting free programs. The effective integration of these components of the education service mix has helped MI Nurul Hikmah Lantan build a reputation and increase the number of students as an excellent educational institution that focuses on student needs. Therefore, this study provides a deep insight into the importance of educational services marketing management in increasing student enrollment and strengthening the competitive position of an educational institution. Future research can focus on further evaluation of more specific marketing strategies and their impact on student enrollment growth in other educational institutions. Abstract

School-Based Management (SBM) grants schools autonomous authority in managing educational resources. This study aims to analyze the role of SBM at the Ukwatuna Lombok Foundation, a vocational school with three study programs (Culinary Arts, Ruminant Agribusiness, and Visual Communication Design) that is still in its early stages of development. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through observations and interviews with the principal and nine teachers. The findings reveal that the main obstacles include limited funding, low community support, and competition with other operational needs. For instance, the Visual Communication Design program is equipped with only one desktop computer and two laptops to support learning activities. To address these challenges, the school adopted adaptive strategies such as procurement through purchasing, self-production, donations, leasing, and refurbishing. The results highlight that SBM can serve as an effective framework for empowering schools to cope with resource constraints. This study demonstrates that adaptive SBM strategies can be a practical and sustainable solution for private schools in non-urban areas with limited facilities. ABSTRAK Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah (MBS) memberikan kewenangan otonom kepada sekolah dalam mengelola sumber daya pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran MBS di Yayasan Ukwatuna Lombok, sebuah sekolah vokasi dengan tiga jurusan (Tata Boga, Agribisnis Ruminansia, dan Desain Komunikasi Visual/ DKV) yang masih dalam tahap pengembangan. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif digunakan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan kepala sekolah serta sembilan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hambatan utama adalah keterbatasan dana, minimnya dukungan masyarakat, dan persaingan dengan kebutuhan operasional lain. Jurusan DKV, misalnya, hanya memiliki satu komputer dan dua laptop untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi kondisi tersebut, sekolah menerapkan strategi adaptif berupa pengadaan melalui pembelian, produksi mandiri, hibah, penyewaan, dan rekondisi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa MBS dapat menjadi kerangka kerja yang efektif dalam memberdayakan sekolah menghadapi kendala sumber daya. Studi ini membuktikan bahwa strategi adaptif MBS dapat menjadi solusi praktis dan berkelanjutan bagi sekolah swasta di daerah nonperkotaan dengan fasilitas terbatas.
