Abstract

Minyak biji sawo manila (Manilkara zapota L.) dikenal memiliki kandungan asam lemak seperti oleat, stearat, palmat, dan linoleat yang dapat merawat rambut bagi mereka yang memiliki rambut keriting dan mengalami masalah rambut rontok. Emulsi dibuat dengan mencampur ekstrak minyak biji sawo dengan basis emulsi yang terdiri dari HPMC, propilen glikol, metil paraben, propil paraben, tween 80, span 80, parafin cair, dan aquadest. Perbandingan konsentrasi ekstrak minyak biji sawo 1%, 3%, dan 5% (b/b). Evaluasi emulsi yang terdiri dari organoleptis, tipe emulsi, homogenitas, daya sebar, pH, viskositas, dan stabilitas. Uji aktivitas pertumbuhan rambut secara in vivo pada kelinci jantan selama 21 hari. Hasil uji aktivitas pertumbuhan rambut menunjukkan bahwa kelinci yang mendapat perlakuan emulsi ekstrak minyak biji sawo dengan konsentrasi 5% (b/b) menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan dalam merangsang pertumbuhan rambut pada kelinci jantan. Kesimpulan yang didapat bahwa emulsi ini memiliki potensi sebagai penumbuh rambut.

Abstract

Using digital technology is an important step in promoting Manila Sapodilla Seed Oil Extract Emulsion as a product that helps with hair growth in today's world. Social media and online platforms are now key tools for reaching more people and building connections with consumers. This study looks at existing research on how digital promotion works for beauty and hair care products. The findings indicate that utilizing social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, combined with strategies such as electronic word of mouth (eWOM), collaborating with influencers, and enhancing website performance, can increase brand recognition and foster greater consumer interest in purchasing the product. Also, new product features, eye-catching packaging, and engaging online interactions help build a better image and trust in the product. Therefore, a promotional plan based on digital technology is effective in introducing and growing the Manila Sapodilla Seed Oil Extract Emulsion in a competitive market.
