Abstract

Starting from excessive use of smartphones and the phenomenon of violations of cadet life regulations regarding careless use of smartphones, the author raised this issue into a scientific article. This article uses quantitative research methods with a population of 345 cadets and a sample of 181 cadets of the 55th Class of Correctional Science Polytechnic using calculations from the Krejci and Morgan sample table. This article finds that there is an influence of Smartphone Addiction on the Academic Procrastination of Correctional Science Polytechnic Cadets. This shows that the more the quality of Smartphone Addiction Cadets increases, the level of Academic Procrastination of the Correctional Science Polytechnic Cadets will also increase. From the results of the Coefficient Test (R2), it is known that the influence of Smartphone Addiction on the Academic Procrastination of Correctional Science Polytechnic Cadets has a percentage of 11.7% and 88.3% is influenced by factors other than Smartphone Addiction. Some of the suggestions given by the author are: Educational Programs on Healthy Smartphone Use, Development of Learning Support Applications, Time Management Skills Workshops, Development of a Supportive Learning Environment, Data Collection and Advanced Research, Collaboration with other institutions, and Tightening Enforcement of Disciplinary Punishments Regarding Use Smartphones. From the results of the Coefficient Test (R2), it is known that the influence of Smartphone Addiction on the Academic Procrastination of Correctional Science Polytechnic Cadets has a percentage of 11.7% and 88.3% is influenced by factors other than Smartphone Addiction.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pemimpin dalam organisasi memiliki peranan yang sangat penting namun dengan adanya estafet atau rotasi kepemimpinan yang ada membuat kepemimpinan menjadi permasalahan yang cukup krusial, salah satunya pada Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Yogyakarta. Permasalahan tersebut dapat terlihat pada rendahnya work engagement yang dimiliki para pegawai. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif desktipstif, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menguji pengaruh leader member exchange yang dimiliki pemimpin terhadap work engagement para pegawai. Melalui beberapa teknik analisis data seperti uji normalitas, uji regresi linier sederhana, uji signifikansi dan uji determinasi dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara LMX terhadap work engagement sebesar 15,9% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 84,1% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan persamaan regresi dirumuskan bahwa perubahan nilai yang dimiliki LMX dan work engagement pada penelitian ini bersifat berbanding lurus, yang artinya akan terjadi kenaikan nilai pada work engagement apabila LMX mengalami kenaikan, dan begitupun sebaliknya. ABSTRACT Leaders in organizations have a very important role, but with the relay or rotation of existing leadership, leadership becomes a crucial problem, one of which is the Yogyakarta Class IIA Penitentiary. These problems can be seen in the low work engagement of employees. By using descriptive quantitative research methods, this study aims to analyze and examine the effect of leader member exchange on the work engagement of employees. Through several data analysis techniques such as normality test, simple linear regression test, significance test and determination test, it can be seen that there is an influence between LMX on work engagement of 15.9% while the remaining 84.1% is influenced by other variables not explained in the study. this. Based on the regression equation, it is formulated that changes in the value of LMX and work engagement in this study are directly proportional, which means that there will be an increase in the value of work engagement if LMX increases, and vice versa. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of empowering leadership on work engagement at the Lapas Kelas IIA Pematangsiantar. Empowering Leadership is assessed as a leadership behavior that is able to increase the meaning of work, encourage employee participation in decision making, demonstrate confidence in high performance and provide autonomy to employees over bureaucratic constraints. The research method used was quantitative with a survey approach involving all Lapas Kelas IIA Pematangsiantar employees as respondents. Data was obtained through a questionnaire and analyzed using Smart-PLS. The results of the research show that Empowering Leadership has a positive and significant influence on work engagement at the Lapas Kelas IIA Pematangsiantar. Leaders who apply empowering leadership will make employees feel more valued in decision making and increase their skills and be more enthusiastic about working. The age, gender, education level, length of work also have an influence in this research. This research concludes that there is a positive influence of Empowering Leadership on Work Engagement at the Lapas Kelas IIA Pematangsiantar. The level of influence of empowering leadership on work engagement at the Lapas Kelas IIA Pematangsiantar is 0.533 while the remaining 0.528 is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of job rotation on employee performance at the Class IIA Narcotics Prison in Yogyakarta. Job rotation is considered an important strategy in the development of employee knowledge and skills, with the aim of improving work effectiveness and efficiency. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach involving all employees of Class IIA Yogyakarta Prison as respondents. Data were obtained through questionnaires and analyzed using Smart-PLS. The research results show that job rotation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Employees who participate in job rotation experience an increase in skills, flexibility, and adaptability. Age and length of service factors influence employees' perceptions of job rotation, where younger employees are more likely to see rotation as an opportunity, while more senior employees view it as a challenge. This research concludes that well-planned job rotation can improve the quality and productivity of employee performance.

Abstract

Kondisi lembaga pemasyarakatan di Indonesia masih menghadapi tantangan serius, seperti overcrowding dan tingginya angka residivisme. Program pembimbingan klien pemasyarakatan menjadi salah satu upaya strategis untuk menekan residivisme dan mendukung reintegrasi sosial, namun implementasinya dinilai belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas, hambatan, dan praktik terbaik dalam pembimbingan klien pemasyarakatan melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Sebanyak 27 artikel ilmiah (2018–2023) dipilih dari 512 artikel awal melalui proses PRISMA dengan tahap penyaringan berbasis kerangka PICO(C) dan quality assessment. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembimbingan berbasis keterampilan vokasional, kewajiban lapor, dan pendekatan restorative justice secara signifikan mendukung kesiapan sosial dan ekonomi klien pasca bebas. Selain itu, pelibatan keluarga dan masyarakat mempercepat reintegrasi dan menekan potensi pengulangan tindak pidana. Namun demikian, masih terdapat hambatan struktural (minimnya SDM dan infrastruktur), sosial (stigma dan diskriminasi), serta individual (motivasi rendah dan gangguan psikososial). Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kapasitas petugas Pembimbing Kemasyarakatan (PK), penerapan pendekatan Risk-Need-Responsivity (RNR), serta kolaborasi lintas sektor sebagai langkah strategis. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi rujukan dalam pengembangan kebijakan pembimbingan klien pemasyarakatan yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Rumah Tahanan Negara Kelas I Surakarta, sebagai Unit Pelaksana Teknis dalam sistem pemasyarakatan, menghadapi tantangan dalam menjaga efektivitas dan efisiensi pelayanan. Kinerja organisasi yang tidak stabil dan distribusi pengetahuan yang belum merata menunjukkan perlunya strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh proses manajemen pengetahuan terhadap kinerja organisasi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode survei, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang didistribusikan kepada pegawai Rutan yang dipilih secara purposive. Instrumen penelitian diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, dan data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses manajemen pengetahuan yang mencakup penciptaan, akuisisi, penyimpanan, dan berbagi pengetahuan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik penerapan proses manajemen pengetahuan, maka semakin tinggi kinerja organisasi yang dicapai. Oleh karena itu, organisasi publik seperti Rutan Kelas I Surakarta perlu mengoptimalkan pengelolaan pengetahuan sebagai bagian dari strategi peningkatan kinerja organisasi.
