Abstract

This research aims to measure the ability of elementary school teacher education students in working on financial numeracy questions. The research method used was a quantitative survey research method with data collection using a 20-question financial numeracy test method which was distributed to 37 respondents. The questions answered correctly by all respondents were questions number 1, 13, 14 and 15 with the indicator aspect of consumption. This is because financial numeracy questions with consumption indicators are relatively easy to do because they relate to everyday life. Meanwhile, questions 2, 3 and 16 have the highest level of difficulty. This can be seen from the number of respondents who could only answer the questions correctly as 10 people because the questions given required strong concentration and understanding in order to solve the questions well, therefore the right strategy was needed to understand the theory first. Overall, all respondents responded well to the financial numeracy questions to support the learning process, so it can be concluded that prospective elementary school teacher students have a good understanding in writing financial numeracy questions and will later be able to apply this to students as teachers.

Abstract

Alat peraga sederhana pembangkit listrik tenaga air merupakan alat peraga sederhana yang mendemonstrasikan mekanisme perubahan energi kinetik air menjadi listrik. Asisten pengajar pembangkit listrik tenaga air terdiri dari komponen utama genset, turbin atau turbin angin, lampu LED, kabel dan tali penghubung, serta bagian pendukung rak turbin angin. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan penelitian pembuatan alat dan pengujian fungsional alat yang dilakukan beberapa tahapan, yaitu: penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan, pengembangan atau produksi produk, dan uji coba lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, materi pembelajaran tentang pembangkit listrik tenaga air dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Pada dasarnya perancangan pembangkit listrik tenaga air sederhana dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk merancang dan membuat kincir air mini untuk pembangkit listrik yang dapat berfungsi secara maksimal. Dengan adanya Alat Ajar Konstruksi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air (PLTA) yang sederhana ini, diharapkan siswa dapat dengan mudah memahami konsep yang baru dipelajarinya.Kata kunci: Alat Peraga, Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air, Laboratorium Fisika

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to examine the effect of implementing the Problem Based Learning model accompanied by Augmented Reality assessment media on critical thinking skills and physics learning outcomes in high school on circular motion material. This research uses the type of research true experiment because the research sample was selected using a lottery technique or randomly. The sample was obtained by testing the homogeneity of the midterm exam scores that had been carried out by the teacher. The research design used posttest only control group design. Based on the results of the Mann-Whitney U Test, it can be found that Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) of 0.028 <0.05. This shows that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Proving that there is an effect of the implementation of Problem Based Learning models accompanied by Augmented Reality assessment media on students' critical thinking skills in circular motion material. And the results of the T test (Independent Sample T-Test) found that Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) of 0.006 <0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, then it is concluded that the implementation of Problem Based Learning models accompanied by Augmented Reality assessment media affects student learning outcomes in circular motion material. Furthermore, there are suggestions for other researchers, namely that they can use the results of this study as a reference and basis for exploring other topics or materials and developing interactive learning media that are interesting, innovative and more creative

Abstract

Students' low species literacy and plant awareness towards plants are problems in learning biology, especially regarding local plant diversity. One alternative to overcome these problems is developing contextual learning media sourced from local plants. This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of e-pocket book media for Angiosperms diversity in Ghimbo Pomuan Indigenous Forest, Kampar, Riau, Indonesia, as an innovative solution for contextual and local wisdom-based taxonomy learning. The development of this e-pocket book uses the Lee & Owens multimedia development model with the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validation results by material experts, media, and practitioners showed that the e-pocket book was classified as very valid, with an average score of 95.00% and 95.23%. The practicality test by students showed an average score of 9.00% in the convenience category. The effectiveness test showed an increase in species literacy and plant awareness in the experimental class with N-Gain values of 0.6621 and 0.6403, respectively, in the medium category, much higher than the control class. These results indicate that the e-pocket book improves species literacy and plant awareness. This media can support biology education that is contextual, relevant, and aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 15.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the RICOSRE model on students' socioscientific decision-making skills. This type of research was quasi-experimental with a pretest posttest non-equivalent control group design. The sample of the study consisted of class X1 (RICOSRE), X5 (PBL) and X2 (Conventional). The instruments used are in the form of learning tools and question sheets describing socioscientific decision-making skills. Analysis of research data used analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) and further tests to see real differences from the effect of independent variables using the Least Significant Different (LSD) test or the Least Significant Difference Test (LSD). The results of the analysis show that there is an influence of the learning model on socioscientific decision-making skills with an Fcount of 132.31 with a significance level of 0.00 <0.05. The class with the RICOSRE learning model has the highest score increase of 97.36%. The RICOSRE learning model demonstrates a statistically significant difference compared to the PBL and conventional learning models. These findings indicate that the RICOSRE model is effective and can be recommended as an alternative problem-based learning approach to enhance students’ decision-making skills. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model RICOSRE terhadap keterampilan socioscientific decision making siswa. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest posttest non-equivalent control group design.  Sampel dari penelitian terdiri dari kelas X1 (RICOSRE), X5 (PBL) dan X2 (Konvensional). Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu berupa perangkat pembelajaran dan lembar soal uraian keterampilan socioscientific decision making. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan analisis kovarian (ANCOVA) dan uji lanjut untuk melihat perbedaan nyata dari pengaruh variabel bebas menggunakan  uji Least Significant Different (LSD) atau Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran terhadap keterampilan socioscientific decision making dengan Fhitung sebesar 132,31 dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,00 < 0,05. Kelas dengan model pembelajaran RICOSRE memiliki peningkatan nilai tertinggi yaitu sebesar 97,36%. Pembelajaran model RICOSRE berbeda nyata dengan model PBL dan konvensional.
