Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of Village government programs in efforts to improve community welfare in Perdamean Village, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency, and to determine the inhibiting factors of Village government programs in efforts to improve community welfare in Perdamean Village, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency. This research uses field research. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources from the Perdamean Village Office. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. The community's enthusiasm is very high in taking part in this Empowerment Training with the aim of improving their lives. Increasing people's welfare from the economic sector, namely income, has experienced good changes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of ChatGPT usage on the critical thinking skills of PPKN students, class of 2023, at Medan State University. The research method used in this study was quantitative with an associative approach. The population in this study was all 140 PPKN students, class of 2023, with a sample of 58 selected using stratified random sampling. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between ChatGPT usage and students' critical thinking skills. The Pearson correlation test obtained an r value of 0.595 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05, indicating a strong and significant influence between variable X and variable Y. The coefficient of determination calculation showed that ChatGPT usage had a 35.4% effect on students' critical thinking skills, while the remaining 64.6% was influenced by other factors outside this study. Therefore, this study can be concluded that if used wisely and in accordance with academic ethics, ChatGPT usage has a significant influence on students' critical thinking skills. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan ChatGPT terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa Jurusan PPKN Angkatan 2023 di Universitas Negeri Medan. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan seluruh mahasiswa Jurusan PPKN angkatan 2023 yang berjumlah 140 orang, dengan sampel sebanyak 58 orang yang dipilih menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara penggunaan ChatGPT dan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Hasil uji korelasi pearson  diperoleh nilai r = 0,595 dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang kuat dan signifikan antara variabel X dan variabel Y. Hasil perhitungan koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan ChatGPT berpengaruh sebesar 35,4 % terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 64,6 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar penelitian ini. Oleh karena itu ,pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa jika dimanfaatkan secara bijak dan sesuai etika penggunaan akademik, penggunaan ChatGPT memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa.
