Abstract

This study aims to determine the responsiveness of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) serving the community in the administration of Population Administration at Medan Johor Sub-district office. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The location of this research is Medan Johor Sub-district Office on Jln. Cipta No. 16 Pangkalan Mashhur, Medan Johor. Techniques of collection the  data through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique carried out provides a clear picture of the research problem to be discussed and subsequently the data is presented qualitatively by reducing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the responsiveness of the State Civil Apparatus in the administration of population administration services in the Medan Johor Sub-district office has been going well. Related to responding to the applicant, speed, accuracy, accuracy, and responding to complaints, while regarding the timeliness indicators have not been implemented optimally. The supporting factor of responsiveness is in the form of a community that can listen well to the instructions of officers. Besides the inhibiting factors of responsiveness in the form of a network that is suddenly offline, people who do not want to be invited to cooperate, and the absence of printing machines in Medan Johor Sub-district office.

Abstract

This study aims to determine Village Governance in Realizing Excellent Service in Jumantuang Village, Siempat Nempu District, Dairi Regency. Its governance is one part of realizing excellent service provided by village government officials. The research method used by researchers is descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection tools used were observation and interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used was qualitative data analysis techniques. This technique functions to process qualitative data and analyze data that has been obtained from the results of observations and interviews related to village governance in realizing excellent service. Narrative data obtained from interviews and observations are interpreted for further analysis. So in qualitative research, data analysis must start from the beginning. The results showed that its governance in realizing excellent service in Jumantuang Village has gone well. Jumantuang Village, as a public servant has served the community well and refers to the four characteristics of excellent service, namely by providing easy and fast, open services, in accordance with what the community needs, and implementing a familiarity with the community in Jumantuang Village. So that, the service in the community can be said to be better than before. The hope is that the government and the community can establish good cooperation in the success of service activities within Jumantuang Village. Abstract

Street vendors (PKL) are a profession that is impossible to eliminate from public open space activities, especially in commercial trade areas. The rise of street vendors is now no longer in accordance with city planning. However, on the other hand, they are not only a complement but also a theatrical element of life. city public. With this incident, the Bandung City Government created a policy to regulate these street vendors by establishing a Bandung City Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2011 concerning the Arrangement and Development of Street Vendors. The problem studied in this research is whether the policy model for structuring street vendors in the city has a big impact on optimizing Bandung city space and whether the peddler arrangement pattern is in accordance with the public area layout so that it is hoped that it can become a model for peddler regulation in the city of Bandung.

Abstract

Integritas aparatur desa Desa Laut Dendang sangat penting untuk menjamin proses pemilu yang jujur dan adil. Aparatur desa tidak boleh terlibat dalam kampanye politik atau kegiatan politik lainnya. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menjaga kepentingan yang bertentangan dan menjaga kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap proses demokrasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menjaga netralitas dalam pemilu, mendorong netralitas dalam pemerintahan desa mengetahui jenis sanksi yang akan diberikan pada aparatur desa yang melanggar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan wawancara dan observasi sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi peneliti bahwa netralitas aparatur desa dapat menjadi contoh di masyarakat desa Laut Dendang. Aparatur desa mampu memberikan suasana damai dan tertib. Keberhasilan aparatur desa tidak terlepas dari upaya kepala desa dalam mengarahkan aparatnya untuk menjaga netralitas sehingga masyarakat tidak mendapatkan tekanan dari aparatur desa.

Abstract

Elections are a means for the people to provide legitimacy for the ruler who will lead for 5 (five) years. One of the problems that always arises in the implementation of elections is money politics. Money is one of the factors that influence elections. This study aims to explore the influence of money politics in elections based on the perspective of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) students at Medan State University (Unimed) Stambuk 2021. The type of research used is survey method by looking for several respondents from the PPKn Department. The research instrument used is a questionnaire to determine the perception of respondents. Data analysis is carried out descriptively based on data obtained through respondents. The results showed that money politics influences elections with a high degree of influence. The influence of money politics on elections also differs based on the type of candidate. Money politics affects more for new candidates than for old candidates. The political influence of money also differs based on the type of party. Money politics has a greater influence on new parties than for old parties The results of this study show that money politics is an important factor in influencing elections

Abstract

The Ujung Serdang Village Government plays a crucial role in empowering the local community, focusing on economic development and cultural preservation. These initiatives aim to enhance welfare, economic independence, and local wisdom. However, challenges such as lack of community awareness and insufficient support from the central government persist. This study analyzes the village government's role through implemented programs and their impacts, using a descriptive qualitative method. The results are expected to provide insights into effective empowerment mechanisms and identify obstacles for future improvements.

Abstract

This research explores the role of leadership in the development of Electronic Government Systems (EGS) in Medan City. Using a qualitative approach with a literature review research design, the study analyzes how leadership influences the implementation of information technology in government administration. Findings indicate that strong and technology-oriented leadership can inspire innovation and transformation in EGS, facilitate community involvement, and enhance public service efficiency. Managerial and policy implications are outlined to support the sustainable development of EGS in Medan City.

Abstract

Waste management  policies require cooperation between implementing agencies such as district, sub-district, village and community governments. Hierarchical coordination between implementing agencies is required to facilitate the flow of information. qualitative method with descriptive study research type. The data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, interviews which are also supported by relevant references. This research method adopts a qualitative approach which involves in-depth analysis of the data. Tegal Regency has technological limitations, which affect the effectiveness of the waste management system. Only one sub-district has a waste shredding machine, and there are limitations. The conclusions that can be drawn from the problems that researchers have studied. Overall, the implementation of waste management policies in Tegal Rejo District is still not optimal.

Abstract

This article was created to determine the effectiveness of providing social assistance on the living needs of the people in Marindal I. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, which means data collection techniques in the form of interviews and literature studies as support for writing this article at the research site in Marindal 1 village. Findings What can be found in the field is that the social assistance distributed has a very effective role in supporting people's living needs, especially in the sector of children's education costs which are greatly helped through social assistance in the form of cash.
