Abstract

Era of society 5.0, 6 basic literacy skills are needed, such as data literacy, namely the ability to read, analyze and use information (big data) in the digital world. Then technological literacy, understanding how machines work, technological applications (coding, artificial intelligence, machine learning, engineering principles, biotech), finally human literacy, namely humanities, communication and design, where technology is developing rapidly causing changes in the way of looking at concepts. education. The competencies required in the world of education are also changing. This affects the competencies possessed by prospective teachers. They must prepare, improve and continue to hone their competencies in order to be able to produce a quality generation that is able to answer the challenges of the increasingly sophisticated 5.0 era. This research aims to explain the role of prospective PAI teachers, explaining the 6C competencies which are a renewal in the 5.0 era curriculum where previously they were known as 4C competencies but now the Minister of Education and Culture has added two new competencies to become 6C competencies, as well as the challenges faced by prospective PAI teachers in the 5.0 era. The methods used in this research are qualitative descriptive methods and literature studies. The results and discussion of this research found that: 1. From the role of prospective PAI teachers, many do not yet know about the 6C competencies that are being promoted by the Minister of Education and Culture because they have not yet become a focus among educators. 2. Prospective educators try to hone their competencies to face the 5.0 era.

Abstract

Pendidik merupakan tumpuan menuju dalam mendidik masyarakat mengarungi berbagai bentuk, jalur dan strata pendidikan. Peserta didik adalah akseptor masyarakat yang memasuki dunia pendidikan (sekolah) dan kembali ke masyarakatnya. Membekali komponen-komponen tersebut untuk kehidupan merupakan tugas guru sebagai tulang punggung sekolah. Manajemen dapat dilihat sebagai proses dan juga sebagai tugas (duty). Manajemen sebagai suatu proses sama dengan manajemen dalam arti yang lebih luas. Manajemen sebagai proses operasional meliputi merencanakan, mengatur, mengarahkan atau mengarahkan dan mengawasi atau mengendalikan. Keempat komponen tersebut membentuk satu kesatuan sistem, artinya saling berhubungan sebagai satu kesatuan. Dengan kata lain, perencanaan harus diorganisir, dikendalikan dan dipantau. Pengorganisasian juga harus direncanakan, diarahkan, dan kemudian diarahkan. Kepemimpinan juga harus direncanakan, diorganisir dan dikendalikan. Oleh karena itu, manajemen sekolah adalah kegiatan menyediakan, mengelola, dan menggunakan segala sumber daya untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan sekolah secara efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of the principal's leadership and work environment in improving the performance of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at Parlaungan Waru Sidoarjo Islamic High School. Effective leadership and a conducive work environment are considered two key factors that can influence teacher performance, which in turn will impact the quality of education provided to students. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to all PAI teachers at Parlaungan Waru Islamic High School, Sidoarjo. The research results show that the principal's inspirational and participatory leadership and a supportive work environment have a significant positive correlation with increasing teacher performance. The conclusions of this research emphasize the importance of the leadership role of school principals who are able to motivate and direct and the need to create a comfortable and professional work environment to support the optimal performance of teachers. Recommendations are given to the school to continue to improve the quality of leadership and work environment in order to achieve better educational outcomes.
