Abstract

The development of instructional media and learning resources is a crucial aspect in improving the quality of education, especially at the elementary level, including Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) and Sekolah Dasar (SD). This study aims to explain the foundational theories underlying the development of instructional media and learning resources, as well as their application in primary education. A descriptive qualitative approach is used, relying on literature review to explore relevant theories and frameworks. Educational communication theory, cognitive, constructivist, and behaviorist learning theories are presented as the basis for media development. Furthermore, development models such as ADDIE, ASSURE, and Dick & Carey are discussed as systematic approaches for designing effective learning media. The findings indicate that media and resources developed with consideration of the learners’ characteristics, learning context, and technological integration can enhance student engagement, comprehension, and motivation. This study is expected to provide conceptual guidance for teachers, media developers, and policymakers in creating creative, enjoyable, and meaningful learning environments at the elementary level.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar pada mata pelajaran IPS. Model Speaking Stick mengajarkan siswa untuk berpikir kritis, memahami isi pelajaran dengan cepat, menjadi pembelajar yang aktif, serta mampu bertanya dan mengemukakan pendapat. Lebih lanjut, pemanfaatan model Talk Stick meningkatkan kenikmatan belajar dan mengoptimalkan prestasi akademik siswa, khususnya dalam bidang IPS. Penelitian ini disebut sebagai metode tinjauan literatur atau meta-analisis dan didasarkan pada temuan penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui Google Scholar sehingga menghasilkan identifikasi 10 jurnal terbitan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran speaking stick efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa khususnya siswa sekolah dasar.Hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan model talk stick lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran tradisional. Solusi lain apabila penggunaan model talk stick tidak meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, maka guru harus menyesuaikan model pengajaran yang ada dengan kondisi dan kebutuhan siswa.

Abstract

Pancasila, as the foundation of the state and the Indonesian nation's way of life, plays a fundamental role in shaping the nation's identity and character. However, in the era of globalization marked by technological advances, the increasingly rapid flow of information, and the strong influence of foreign cultures, the values ??of Pancasila face serious challenges in their implementation in daily life. This study aims to analyze the urgency of revitalizing Pancasila values ??in building a national character with integrity, nationalism, and personality. The method used in this study is a literature study by examining various relevant literature sources, including books, scientific journals, and government policy documents. The results of the study indicate that revitalizing Pancasila values ??needs to be carried out through character education in schools, exemplary leadership, and strengthening national culture in community life. The application of the values ??of Divinity, Humanity, Unity, Democracy, and Justice is an important foundation in facing the influence of globalization so that the Indonesian nation does not lose its moral direction and national identity. Thus, Pancasila needs to be continuously internalized contextually in every aspect of national and state life in order to realize a civilized, just, and strong-character society.
