Abstract

Humans are the most perfect created creatures, humans have reason and passion which are essentially used to worship Allah Ta'ala. So experts reveal that humans have emotional intelligence as an indication of their ability to understand the emotions of themselves and others. Human thoughts regarding emotional intelligence have been explained in the Al-Quran, so that in the Al-Quran you can find various kinds of emotions that occur in humans. This research aims to determine the relationship between emotional changes experienced by humans in Surah al-Baqarah verse 286 with the writings of Rasm Usmani. Carried out using the library file method, by quoting from various research sources published in various indexed journals. The result that can be seen is that this surah reveals that Allah has arranged everything that exists in this world, all the problems that are given to humans, are actually not beyond the limits of human ability, every problem experienced has its own way of solving it.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with religious diversity, so the issue of religious tolerance is very important to maintain social harmony. One of the verses of the Qur'an that is often used as a basis for understanding tolerance is Surah Al-Kafirun verse 6, "Lakum diinukum waliyadin." This verse contains the concept of al-qashar from the perspective of balaga studies, namely the concept of affirming differences in beliefs without coercion and hostility. This study aims to examine the public's understanding of the meaning of Al-qashar in the verse and its relationship to the attitude of religious tolerance in Indonesia. The methodology used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques in the form of literature studies and semi-structured interviews with religious leaders and the Muslim community. The survey found that most respondents understood the verse as an expression of recognition of religious differences, not a justification for inter-religious conflict. The meaning of Al-Qasr is actually understood as an ideological prohibition that encourages peaceful coexistence. Therefore, a contextual understanding of Surah Al-Kafirun verse 6 plays a role in strengthening the attitude of religious tolerance, especially in the pluralistic Indonesian society. This study recommends strengthening thematic interpretive literacy in religious education to expand moderate and comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

The Revitalization of Maghrib Reading through the Community Service Program (KKN) at UIN Sumatera Utara is a strategic effort to reinforce religious practices that serve as a medium for nurturing Islamic character in children. This study aims to develop and optimize the implementation of Maghrib Reading in the IX Sido Mukti Baru area, Langkat Regency, involving KKN students as implementing partners. The background of this research is based on the decline in children's participation in Maghrib Reading activities due to the influence of technological developments and changes in community lifestyle patterns. The research methodology uses a qualitative descriptive approach with participatory observation, interviews, focused group discussions (FGD), and documentation techniques. Data analysis is conducted through stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion verification. The research results indicate a significant increase in children's participation and the quality of Maghrib Mengaji implementation after the KKN program was carried out. This activity not only strengthens the skills of reading the Qur'an but also fosters Islamic values in children such as discipline, responsibility, politeness, and togetherness. These findings provide important insights into the role of students in supporting religious revitalization and also demonstrate the positive contributions of the KKN program to community development. This study is expected to serve as a model for other mosques in revitalizing community-based religious activities through collaboration with higher education institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berorientasi untuk menganalisis secara mendalam tentang kreativitas guru dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Binjai. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menerapkan metode kualitatif yang berupa metode deskriptif dengan menghimpun data melalui observasi, dokumentasi serta wawancara. Dalam penelitian ini subjeknya ialah guru bahasa Arab kelas XII dan objek pada penelitian ini adalah kreativitas guru dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Binjai. Hasil penelitian ini mengemukakan bahwa; 1) kreativitas guru meliputi penerapan sejumlah anasir dalam bahasa Arab antara lain maharah istima`, maharah kalam, maharah qira`ah, dan maharah kitabah, serta penguasaan terhadap ashwat, mufradat dan tarkib dalam pembelajaran; 2) Minat peserta didik di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Binjai terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Arab cukup baik dengan dimotivasi oleh guru mengenai urgensinya pelajaran bahasa Arab dan diberikan kursus diluar pembelajaran kelas; 3) Faktor yang mendukung pembelajaran bahasa Arab di madrasah ini antara lain kesadaran siswa akan pentingnya bahasa Arab, bahasa Arab yang berkaitan dengan mata pelajaran lainnya, sumber-sumber pelajaran yang tersedia dalam bentuk elektronik dan bahasa Arab merupakan mata pelajaran wajib di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Binjai. Adapun ditemukan dua variabel utama yang menghambat pembelajaran bahasa Arab di madrasah ini yakni siswa yang tidak memiliki dasar bahasa Arab sama sekali dari jenjang pendidikan sebelumnya dan minimnya perlombaan bertajuk pelajaran bahasa Arab dipertandingkan.
