Abstract

The development of Islamic educational institutions in our country is currently experiencing rapid development, but the majority are still experiencing challenges in terms of quality. One of the problems is improved behavior management to improve quality. This study aims to explain the concept of behavior-based Islamic education management in integrated quality management of education. Through literature search, it was found that behavior management in Islamic education is based on humanitarian principles, where humans are placed as the main focus that needs attention, value, and fulfillment of their needs. The main factors that influence behavior management in Islamic educational institutions include: leadership, motivation, communication, reward and punishment systems, culture, strategic management, and integrated quality management. The role of behavior management is crucial with regard to the application of integrated quality management in Islamic education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi Program Penilaian Online yang menggunakan Google Form berbasis Chromebook untuk siswa kelas SMPIT Al-Mufid. Penelitian dilakukan dari bulan November 2023 hingga Desember 2023, dengan menggunakan metode evaluatif dan model evaluasi CIPP (konteks, input, proses, produk). Sampel penelitian melibatkan 62 siswa. Hasil validitas menunjukkan bahwa 12 item kuesioner valid, dan reliabilitas menghasilkan nilai sebesar 0,747. Untuk mengakses program ujian online, ujian online menggunakan Google Form, komputer sebagai server, jaringan internet, dan Chromebook. Nilai rata-rata ujian online berbasis Chromebook untuk ujian akhir semester siswa adalah 78, sedangkan untuk ujian akhir sekolah hanya 74, lebih rendah dari Kriteria Kelulusan Minimum (KKM) yang telah ditetapkan sebesar 75. Dari hasil kuesioner, persentase keberhasilan program ujian online hanya mencapai 67% dari responden. Selama pelaksanaan program ujian online terdapat kendala seperti kurangnya konektor untuk membantu charger Chromebook, dan tidak adanya pemblokiran Google untuk menjaga keamanan ujian. Koneksi internet sebesar 1 Mbps juga menjadi kendala. Dampak dari program ujian online yang didapatkan adalah guru dan siswa dapat menghemat waktu dalam pelaksanaan ujian dibandingkan dengan penggunaan kertas dan internet sebagai sarana evaluasi pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya pelaksanaan program ujian online berbasis Chromebook di SMPIT Al-Mufid dapat dikatakan berhasil, dengan perbaikan pada fasilitas pendukung program ujian online.

Abstract

Qur'anic development is one of the main pillars in the implementation of integrated Islamic education. SMPIT Al-Mufid positions Qur'anic development as a flagship program to enhance the quality of Islamic education in academic, spiritual, and character dimensions. This study aims to analyze the implementation strategies of Qur'anic development at SMPIT Al-Mufid and its contribution to improving the quality of Islamic education. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews with the principal, tahfizh and tahsin teachers, and documentation analysis. The findings reveal that the implementation strategies include integrated curriculum planning, systematic habituation of Qur'an reading and memorization, continuous teacher competency development, and ongoing evaluation of students' achievements. These strategies positively impact students' Qur'anic literacy, memorization achievements, religious discipline, and character formation. The study concludes that well-planned, sustainable, and integrated Qur'anic development significantly contributes to improving the quality of Islamic education at SMPIT Al-Mufid. The results are expected to serve as a reference for other Islamic schools in developing effective Qur'anic programs.
