Abstract

Forming an independent character in students is a challenging task as they are accustomed to receiving attention and being dependent on their parents, which can result in them becoming spoiled and lazy when they enter the environment of Islamic boarding schools. Hence, it is crucial to have effective curriculum management to foster the development of students' independent character. The aim of this study was to examine the implementation of curriculum management at the Primago Modern Islamic Boarding School and the strategies employed to shape students' independent character. A qualitative approach with a descriptive research design was employed, and data were collected through descriptions and illustrations. The findings revealed that the management of the pesantren curriculum is closely associated with the management functions known as POAC: planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. These functions have been successfully implemented at the Primago Modern Islamic Boarding School. Moreover, efforts to nurture students' independent character at the school include programs such as fish farming and entrepreneurship, along with the cultivation of habits that encourage students to undertake various activities independently while being closely supervised by the boarding school caretakers. The implication is that the development of this independent character will equip students with valuable skills and qualities for their future lives beyond the boarding school environment, allowing them to become self-reliant individuals.

Abstract

Indonesian Ministry of Health states that there has been a decrease in the stunting rate in Indonesia, however, based on WHO health standards, the stunting rate in Indonesia is still high. This fact shows that posyandu as the spearhead of handling stunting still needs to develop strategies in an effort to reduce stunting rates. This research analyzes the intervention strategies carried out by posyandu cadres in the Pamoyanan sub-district, in implementing health communication for handling stunted children. The findings of this research are that the family counseling health communication intervention pattern in the form of mutual cooperation in handling stunted children by the entire family of the stunted child has proven to be effective in restoring the health of the stunted child, where the whole family works together to implement a healthy eating pattern for the stunted child. This research also found that assigning treatment only to mothers proved to be less effective, in addition to the characteristics of highly educated mothers not always producing a parenting pattern that could prevent stunting in children. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach on five stunted children found in the Pamoyanan sub-district.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the theory of behaviorisitk learning and its absorption in prayer learning. Prayer is a series of ibdah consisting of sayings and movements that in learning require practice and habituation. Therefore, researchers are interested in studying the application of this theory in prayer learning. The formulation of the problem in this research is twofold; (1) what is the concept of behavioristic learning theory and (2) how is the application of behaviristic learning theory in prayer learning? The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method with a library approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by examining various library sources that are relevant to research, both in the form of books and journal articles, then filtered and analyzed so as to produce a conclusion. The results of this study show that behavioristic learning theory is a learning theory that focuses on behavioral changes resulting from the relationship between stimulus and response. According to behavioristic theory with all its methods states that learning outcomes depend largely on the strength and absence of the relationship between stimulus and response. The methods of practice and repetition, habituation and rewording and paunishment developed by behaviorists are very appropriate to be applied in prayer learning.

Abstract

Social interaction in virtual media create many communities, and have different functions and goals. In the s elf existence young generation context, this qualitative research results there are three community models formed in Twitter. First, self exsistence build in critical social issue, second, the community that participates in criticizin social issue and creating the existence of popular netizens, lastly, the community that builds existence only as a popular netizen. In the three community models, the second community model can be education concept of digital literacy, because they communication strategy developed has an impact on the broad, deep and critical references in order to be able to have good discussions.

Abstract

Pencapaian tujuan pendidikan sangat bergantung pada manajemen dan keterampilan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah/madrasah, yang merupakan motor penggerak dalam proses pendidikan dan bertanggung jawab mengatur semua sumber daya organisasi untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang telah ditentukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen dan keterampilan  kepemimpinan kepala sekolah/madrasah di SD Al Husna. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dalam pendekatan kualitatif. Dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil temuan penulis menunjukkan bahwa secara umum, kualitas pendidikan di SD Al Husna cukup baik, tercermin dalam pelaksanaan tugas kepala sekolah/madrasah dan guru yang profesional serta bertanggung jawab terhadap tugas mereka. Kepala Sekolah dan Guru SD Al Husna melaksanakan proses pendidikan dan pembelajaran dengan memperhatikan semua aspek, baik yang terkait dengan kegiatan proses pendidikan dan pembelajaran maupun kegiatan administrasi yang harus dilengkapi oleh kepala sekolah/ madrasah dan guru untuk memajukan pendidikan, dengan etos kerja dan disiplin yang tinggi.

Abstract

Majelis Taklim is an Islamic educational institution that is flexible in time and place, acting as a center for da'wah as well as lifelong non-formal education. This research aims to analyze the management of facilities, infrastructure, and human resources at Majelis Taklim Telkom Group (MTTG) Jakarta as an effort to improve the quality of worship and learning. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with purposive sampling technique to determine informants, which include managers, employees, and worshipers. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, with validation using method triangulation. The results showed that the management of facilities and infrastructure in MTTG has followed management principles, including planning, procurement, organization, utilization, and elimination. Maintenance involves coordination with stakeholders for optimization. Periodic evaluations are conducted to ensure maximum utilization. The manager's role is crucial in ensuring all management functions run effectively. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that professional management supports the achievement of the objectives of Majelis Taklim as a quality Islamic education institution. Abstrak Majelis Taklim adalah lembaga pendidikan Islam yang fleksibel dalam waktu dan tempat, berperan sebagai pusat dakwah sekaligus pendidikan nonformal seumur hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengelolaan sarana, prasarana, dan sumber daya manusia di Majelis Taklim Telkom Group (MTTG) Jakarta sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas ibadah dan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan teknik purposive sampling untuk menentukan informan, yang mencakup pengelola, pegawai, dan jamaah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan validasi menggunakan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana di MTTG sudah mengikuti prinsip manajemen, meliputi perencanaan, pengadaan, pengorganisasian, pemanfaatan, dan penghapusan. Pemeliharaan melibatkan koordinasi dengan stakeholder untuk optimalisasi. Evaluasi berkala dilakukan untuk memastikan pemanfaatan maksimal. Peran manajer sangat penting dalam memastikan semua fungsi manajemen berjalan efektif. Simpulan penelitian ini menekankan bahwa pengelolaan yang profesional mendukung tercapainya tujuan Majelis Taklim sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam yang berkualitas.

Abstract

Strategic Management has attracted the interest of numerous experts and practitioners, as well as Islamic education experts and practitioners. In addition, they believe that strategic management may help Islamic educational institutions carry out their operations, hence it is assumed that strategic management is fully applied in Islamic educational institutions. This study seeks to investigate and clarify the notion of strategic management in the context of Islamic educational institutions. This study concludes that the (conventional) strategic management concept cannot be fully implemented in Islamic educational institutions because the conventional strategic management concept is constructed within a business context, emphasizing the significance of competitiveness and obtaining returns above the average competitor. This study provides a new concept of strategic Islamic management for Islamic educational institutions, based on the premise that collaboration is more fundamental than competition, and that maintaining organizational sustainability and the quality of education given requires excellence (ihsan).

Abstract

The purposes of this study are; to know application of Snowball Throwing method, the achievement and its impact to Indonesian Lesson using such method in SDIT Ummul Quro Bogor. This study conducted a class action research. The application of Snowball Throwing method gives a good impact to Indonesian Lesson. This can be seen from the increasing the percentage of affective from 76 % in first cycle to 83 % in second one. The achievement of students increased from 56,67 % and average is 73,83 to 93,33% and average is 84. The Application of  Snowball Throwing method give a rapid impact to the achievement of students.

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of application of role playing method toward student’s learning outcome at class V MI Al Madani on social science. In this research, the researcher conducted descriptive-quantitative method which is experimental research. The population is the whole students, and the sample is class V A 23 students as experiment class and class V B 23 students as control class. The data was analyzed by observation, documentary and multiple choice test and essay. The result of the research shows that there is difference significantly on their learning outcome between experiment class and control one. The role playing method affects the students’ learning outcome on social science. It can be seen from their average of their post test. They achieved 74,78 in experiment class and 65.56 in control class. This shows that application of role playing method gives an effect to the students’ learning outcome at MI Al Madani Bogor.
