Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) occurs due to the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito which is often found in countries with tropical climates. The biting activity of Ae. Aegypti which increases during the rainy season can cause an increase in cases of dengue fever sufferers (Dewi and Sudaryono, 2020). Based on data released by the World Health Organization (WHO), around 40% or 2.5 billion of the world's population, both in sub-tropical and tropical countries, are at high risk of contracting the dengue virus. The aim of this community service is to achieve changes in the behavior of individuals, families and communities in fostering and maintaining healthy behavior and a healthy environment, as well as playing an active role in efforts to realize optimal levels of health, the formation of healthy behavior in individuals, families, groups and communities in accordance with the concept of healthy living both physically, mentally and socially so as to reduce morbidity and mortality rates. Based on the results of community service in Hamlet 1, PekikNyaring Village, Kab. Central Bengkulu shows that the level of public knowledge in the Good category is 15 respondents (40%), in the poor category there are 18 respondents (60%). So it can be concluded that the level of public knowledge in the Less category is 18 respondents (60%).

Abstract

Nutritional status is a condition determined by the degree of physical need for energy and nutrients obtained from food and foods whose physical impacts can be measured. The prevalence of nutritional status (BMI/U) in Adolescents aged 13-15 years according to Bengkulu Province in 2018 found adolescents with very thin nutritional status of 1.0%, thin 6.5%, normal 75.9%, fat 12.6%, and obesity 3.9%. The prevalence of nutritional status (BMI/U) in adolescents aged 13-15 years in the city of Bengkulu in 2018 found adolescents with very thin nutritional status of 2.43%, thin 7.17%, normal 66.53%, obese 17.60%, and obesity 6.27%. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the nutritional status of adolescents at SMPN 12 Kuala Lempuing, Bengkulu City. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional design. The sample in this study amounted to 82 people, taken by random sampling. Data analysis was carried out using the chi-square test with a significance level of 95%. The results of the analysis show that the majority of students have poor nutritional status and lack of knowledge, the majority of students have poor eating patterns with poor nutritional status and some students have a positive body image with poor nutritional status. Based on bivariate analysis, the results showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge and malnutrition status, there was a significant relationship between diet and malnutrition status and bivariate analysis on body image showed that there was no significant relationship between body image and malnutrition status in SMPN 12 Kuala Lempuing Bengkulu City. It is hoped that schools can provide more information about nutrition to teenage students at SMPN 12 Kuala Lempuing, Bengkulu City.

Abstract

Globally, in 2016 there were 10.4 million cases of TB incidents, equivalent to 120 cases per 100,000 population. The five countries with the highest incidence of cases in the world are India, Indonesia, China, the Philippines, and Pakistan (Ministry of Health., 2018). In 2017 there were around 558,000 new cases of rifampicin-resistant TB (RR TB). Where almost half of these cases occurred in three countries, namely India (24%), China (13%), and Russia (10%) (Ministry of Health, 2021). In 2018, globally the largest percentage of TB cases occurred in Southeast Asia (44%) and the smallest percentage in Europe (3%). And in 2019, the largest number of TB cases were in Southeast Asia (44%), Africa (25%), and the West Pacific (18%) (WHO., 2020). The methods used in this study were bivariate and multivariate. The results are as follows: 1. The results of the study show that more than half of the respondents 42 (63.6%) have adequate home lighting, more than half of the respondents 37 (56.1%) have adequate home ventilation, more than half of the respondents 40 (60.6%) have adequate home floor types, more than half of the respondents 44 (66.7%) have inadequate home density and more than half of the respondents 39 (59.1%) have adequate home humidity. 2. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between lighting, ventilation, floor type, residential density and humidity with the incidence of Pulmonary TB at the Telaga Dewa Health Center, Bengkulu City in 2023. 3. The results of the study showed that lighting obtained an OR value of 3.946 (95% CI: 1.343-11.600), lighting obtained an OR value of 3.121 (95% CI: 1.133-8.603), floor type obtained an OR value of 5.041 (95% CI: 1.707-14.890), residential density obtained an OR value of 0.236 (95% CI: 0.077-0.722) and humidity obtained an OR value of 3.200 (95% CI: 1.145-8.944).
