Abstract

This study aims to develop a Smartphone-Based Iteractive Multimedia e-Book of the draw lines learning and provide an alternative instructional media that can be used by students. This study is categorized as research and development Borg & Gall model. The assessment results were obtained through the responses of 50 grade X vocational school students to interactive multimedia e-Books by conducting product usability tests, that have reached criteria “very good”. The results of this research was a product in the form of a smartphone-based interactive multimedia e-Books of the draw lines learning. E-Books also has an impact on student understanding that shown by the value of Gain with category “medium”. Therefore, e-Books can be used as an alternative instriuctional media that is feasible for students and teachers.

Abstract

Palangka Raya City faces serious challenges related to waste management, especially the abundant organic waste. This study explores the utilization of organic waste into briquettes as an innovative solution to reduce the volume of waste in landfills and create an alternative energy source. Through thermal conversion and compression methods, organic waste is converted into briquettes that have a high calorific value with low emissions. The research results show that each 1 kilogram of briquettes can be produced from 10 kilograms of dry organic waste, providing a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution for Palangka Raya City. This study also compares data related to waste in Palangka Raya with previous research and provides relevant literature as a reference

Abstract

The availability of clean water is a basic need that must be met to ensure people's quality of life. The use of renewable energy, particularly through solar power plants (PLTS), offers an efficient and environmentally friendly solution. PLTS have the advantage of being an abundant energy source, being emission-free, and suitable for household applications in tropical regions like Indonesia, which experience high solar radiation intensity throughout the year (IEA, 2023; Mulyadi & Hartono, 2019). This research addresses the need for a solar-powered booster pump system integrated with a storage tank as a backup water source. The research was conducted in the Building Engineering Education Laboratory, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Palangka Raya University, designing a household water distribution system using a solar-powered booster pump integrated with a storage tank. Specific plans and targets include publication of this research in a SINTA-accredited journal, HKI, and a research video.
