Abstract

This Community Service focuses on creating a video profile for TK Kartika I-1 Medan Helvetia, a pre-school educational institution committed to providing quality education to young children. The aim of this research is to create an engaging and informative video profile that serves as an effective means of introducing the school to the wider community, prospective students, and parents. The research involves collaboration between the research team, the production team, and the school. The research process begins with in-depth interviews with the headmaster, teachers, staff, and parents to gather relevant information about the school's excellence, educational programs, and learning environment at TK Kartika I-1 Medan Helvetia. Additionally, footage is captured at various locations within the school to showcase teaching and learning activities, creative endeavors, and social interactions in a fun-filled ambiance. Diligent editing is carried out to craft the video profile with appropriate audio-visual elements, suitable background music, and engaging narration to enhance its appeal and emotional impact. The result of this endeavor is a comprehensive video profile that showcases the uniqueness and excellence of TK Kartika I-1 Medan Helvetia. The video provides a clear picture of the school's holistic educational approach, positive learning environment, supportive facilities, and the successes of students both inside and outside the classroom. It is anticipated that this video profile will serve as an effective tool in promoting TK Kartika I-1 Medan Helvetia to prospective students and parents and improving the school's image in the eyes of the community. Through broader promotion on social media and other online platforms, this video profile is expected to reach a wider audience of prospective students and families, thereby supporting the school's efforts to shape a generation that is creative, competent, and ready to face future challenges.

Abstract

This journal reviews the implementation of community service activities aimed at building a Podcast studio at SMK Pangeran Antasari. This research was carried out with the aim of improving students' skills in Audio content production and stimulating the development of creativity through Podcast media. The service method includes training, coaching and maintenance of studio facilities. The training involves various aspects, such as technical Audio production, editing, and Podcast marketing. Coaching focuses on idea development, script writing, and presentation skills. Studio facility maintenance includes Hardware and Software management to ensure smooth production. The research results show an increase in students' technical skills in producing Podcasts, along with an increase in their interest and participation in creative activities. The Podcast studio becomes a platform for students to express their ideas, views and talents. In addition, this activity forms a close collaboration between the school and the surrounding community, creating positive synergy and empowering the local community. In conclusion, this community service activity makes a significant contribution to increasing students' media literacy and strengthening the role of SMK Pangeran Antasari as an agent of change in community empowerment through Podcast media.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a microlearning video product that can help teachers understand and learn good and correct teaching methods. Microlearning videos are chosen because of their ability to convey material concisely and effectively, making it easier for teachers to receive information quickly and accurately. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with a qualitative approach. The video production process includes several stages, namely material planning, scripting, shooting, video editing, and product evaluation. This research was conducted at UPT SD Negeri 067098 Medan. Based on the evaluation results, the resulting video was considered good and suitable for use for learning purposes. The results of the study indicate that the microlearning video produced can be an effective tool for teachers in understanding the concept of correct teaching methods. In addition, this video can also help improve the teaching skills of teachers at UPT SD Negeri 067098 Medan, as well as provide clear guidance in implementing effective teaching methods in the classroom.

Abstract

Penelitian karya ini dilatarbelakangi dengan penerapan teknik color grading yakni mendefinisikan warna pada setiap scene guna menampilkan perubahan suasana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk penerapan teknik color grading guna menunjukkan perubahan suasana dalam penciptaan film Hari Yang Tadi. Film Hari Yang Tadi bercerita tentang seorang anak perempuan yang durhaka kepada Ibunya dan akibatnya anak perempuan tersebut mengalami fenomena dejavu (kejadian berulang). Metode yang digunakan dalam film Hari Yang Tadi adalah metode persiapan, elaborasi, sintesis, realisasi, dan penyelesaian. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian karya ini adalah color correction, color grading, teori warna, psikologi warna, dan warna dalam film. Konsep teknis yang terdapat dalam karya ini adalah praproduksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi. Lama waktu pembuatan penelitian karya ini adalah enam bulan yang dimulai dari bulan November tahun 2022 sampai dengan bulan Maret 2023. Hasil dari penciptaan penelitian karya ini adalah adanya penerapan teknik color grading dalam film Hari Yang Tadi seperti perubahan warna pada saat sebelum pewarnaan dan setelah pewarnaan. Simpulan dalam penelitian karya ini adalah pemilihan warna yang tepat akan memengaruhi kondisi dan suasana film.
