Abstract

Sekar Pandan Art Studio is a studio that still maintains the authenticity of Cirebon Mask Dance. Cirebon Mask Dance is an ancestral heritage which is one of the characteristics of Cirebon City. Therefore, an effective and efficient strategy is needed so that this goal can be achieved. This research will examine and analyze the strategy of the Sekar Pandan Art Studio in an effort to carry out branding on social media. The aim of this research is to understand and provide ideas regarding the importance of implementing a branding strategy for a community or organization that has been established for a long time in order to maintain its existence by using social media. Data was taken from observation transcripts as well as conducting direct interviews with the management and person in charge of the Sekar Pandan Art Studio. The research approach used by researchers is a descriptive qualitative approach which aims to analyze the strategies used by the studio in an effort to carry out branding on social media.

Abstract

Communication plays a crucial role in human life, serving as a medium for conveying messages and information. It is utilized in various settings, including within families, communities, and organizations. In organizations, whether corporate or governmental, communication is vital for achieving objectives and ensuring smooth operations. In rural governance, the village head serves as the leader responsible for providing public services to the community in accordance with their formal duties and functions. This study aims to examine and analyze the organizational communication strategies employed by the Sikunang Village Government in Wonosobo Regency, Central Java, in improving public services. The research utilizes a descriptive qualitative approach, gathering data through direct interviews and observations of the village government. The findings highlight the significance of effective organizational communication in enhancing public service delivery and demonstrate how the leadership style of the village head influences group communication within the local government.

Abstract

Desa Sikunang, Wonosobo, Jawa Tengah merupakan sebuah desa yang memiliki alam yang indah serta potensi hasil tani yang berlimpah. Namun kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap media sosial membuat para pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) tidak maksimal dalam memasarkan hasil usaha mereka ke luar Desa Sikunang. Melalui kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi mengenai pentingnya branding dan juga pemanfaatan media sosial dalam hal membangun branding terutama bagi UMKM masyarakat setempat. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada para pelaku UMKM bagaimana memanfaatkan media sosial dalam hal melakukan branding usaha masyarakat Desa Sikunang dapat terdengar setidaknya keluar wilayah Wonosobo. Selain itu kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan edukasi mengenai literasi media sosial. Hasil yang didapatkan dari Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini di antaranya masyarakat sebagai pelaku UMKM dapat menyadari bahwa mereka kurang memaksimalkan media sosial dalam melakukan branding dari usaha atau produk yang mereka ingin pasarkan serta kurangnya pemahaman dari masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan media sosial seperti Instagram. Kesimpulan dari Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah masyarakat khususnya pelaku UMKM di Desa Sikunang, Wonosobo, Jawa Tengah diharapkan akan lebih memaksimalkan media sosial dalam melakukan branding sehingga produk dari usaha mereka dapat terpasarkan dengan baik ke luar Desa Sikunang.
