Abstract

This research aims to develop a stopmotion video of ethnomathematical exploration based on the folklore of the Roro Jonggrang legend in mathematics learning. The method used involves collecting data from relevant ethnomathematical sources and analyzing the content of folklore to find mathematical elements that can be used in learning. The results of the study show that the folklore of the Roro Jonggrang legend can be used as an effective medium in developing students' mathematical abilities through the use of mathematical elements contained in the story. The stopmotion videos made can help students understand mathematical concepts in a more fun and interactive way. This research is expected to contribute to the development of mathematics learning that is more innovative and relevant to local culture.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the implementation of the independent vocational school curriculum in the Jakarta area, especially East Jakarta, which has begun to be implemented in the 2022/2020 academic year. Teachers and students in this case still do not have an understanding and readiness regarding the system for implementing the independent curriculum in the learning process, because they are still influenced by The learning system in the 2013 curriculum has not been fully implemented well in schools, causing teachers and students to be overwhelmed in preparing and adapting to be able to carry out learning activities well. The aim of the research is to determine Mathematics and Student learning in the Implementation of the Merdeka Vocational School Curriculum in East Jakarta. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. This research was carried out at 2 vocational schools in East Jakarta with a total of 5 teachers as research informants. Data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. Based on the research results, it shows that the teachers' interviews show that students do not understand how to use the 2018 revised curriculum and the Merdeka curriculum itself.

Abstract

The shift from face-to-face learning to online and blended learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic presents challenges for educators and prospective teachers in designing effective instruction. One of the commonly used instructional media in online and blended learning is video. However, using video as a material delivery tool has its drawbacks, such as difficulties in monitoring student activities and assessing their understanding. This issue is also experienced by students of the Mathematics Study Program at Universitas PGRI Mahadewa Indonesia when using video as learning material. To address this problem, training was conducted for prospective teachers on designing instruction using videos integrated with the Edpuzzle platform. In this training, prospective teachers were taught to create notes and quizzes within videos, provide feedback and assessments, and monitor learning activities. Through this training, it is expected that prospective teachers can design interactive online and blended learning using video.

Abstract

This research This research aims to determine the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of ADDIE learning media in the form of SPLTV boards in improving the ability to understand mathematical concepts and critical thinking skills of students at SMKN 25 Jakarta. This research adopts the ADDIE model stages (analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate). The analyze stage includes initial analysis, student analysis, concept analysis and formulating learning objectives. The design stage includes preparing learning media in the form of selecting appropriate media and designing learning content. The development stage includes the development of data collection instruments. The data collection instrument in this research was interviews with the teachers concerned. The implementation stage includes the application of ADDIE learning media which has been developed for class X students at SMKN 25 Jakarta. The evaluation stage includes the form of evaluation carried out at each ADDIE stage. The data analysis technique used is the validity coefficient by Aiken's V The research results show that the ADDIE learning media in the form of the SPLTV board developed is suitable for use in Mathematics learning. The SPLTV board is practical to use and effective in improving students' concept understanding and critical thinking abilities.
