Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the influence of organizational commitment and work culture on job satisfaction of employees in the general section of the Bontang City Regional Secretariat. This research is a type of quantitative research. The respondents in this study were 50 employees of the General Section of the Bontang City Regional Secretariat. Data was processed using SPSS version 16.0. The results were tested using multiple regression analysis, F test, t test and R2 test. In the multiple linear regression test, Y= 12.924 + 0.256X1 + 1.019X2. F calculation shows a value of 154.694 with a significance level of 0.000. Meanwhile, the F table value is 3.20. This shows that the Fcount value is > Ftable with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. Testing the tcount value for the Organizational Commitment variable (X1) is greater than the t table value (4.717 > 2.010) with a significance level below 0.05, namely 0.000. Meanwhile, the tcount value for the Work Culture variable (X2) is greater than the t table value (8.796 > 2.010) with a significance level below 0.05, namely 0.000. The R Square value was 86.8%. This means that the independent variables Organizational Commitment and Work Culture together influence the dependent variable Job Satisfaction by 86.8% and the rest is influenced by other variables not included in this research. From these results it is shown that Organizational Commitment and Work Culture together have a significant effect on Job Satisfaction for Employees of the General Section of the Bontang City Regional Secretariat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of online gambling addiction (slots) on family harmony. The research was conducted using a qualitative case study approach, five heads of households in Bunga Tanjung Village, known to experience online slot gambling addiction, were examined. The results showed that the higher the online game addiction among family members, the greater the negative impact on family harmony. The main impact includes reduced interaction and communication within the family, loss of the head-of the family’s role, development of long-term conflicts, and damage to family welfare. The study concludes that online gambling addiction has a significant impact on decreasing the quality of family harmony. Solutions include the prevention and treatment efforts through socialization, counseling, rehabilitation, and social support to aid affected families to recover

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh kompensasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan PT. Pantai Subur. Jumlah populasi adalah 30 orang, yang mana semua karyawan menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini tidak termasuk pimpinan. Adapun teori digunakan untuk mendukung penelitian adalah teori-teori manajemen sumber daya manusia yang berkaitan dengan kompensasi, disiplin kerja dan produktivitas kerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, pembagian kuesioner, pengamatan, dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS koefisien determinasi dan pengujian secara simultan (Uji-F) dengan nilai dan secara parsial (Uji-T). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kerja, disiplin kerja berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kerja. Sedangkan kompensasi dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan secara simultan.
