Desa Kesiut, dengan luas 266 Ha dan populasi 2.203 jiwa yang mayoritas bekerja sebagai petani jagung, memerlukan penyuluhan, sosialisasi, dan demonstrasi langsung tentang budidaya jagung hibrida. Metode kegiatan pengabdian terpadu ini kegiatan ceramah. Kegiatan dilakukan untuk mengedukasi cara membudidayakan tanaman jagung hibrida, diskusi permasalahan dan pemberian solusi-solusi terkait budidaya jagung hibrida. Hasil wawancara awal menunjukkan bahwa 60% petani jarang mengikuti pelatihan pertanian dan 40% petani jagung sering mengalami gagal panen. Permasalahan yang sering dihadapi petani jagung di Desa Kesiut adalah pengelolaan hama penyakit bulai yang disebabkan oleh jamur Peronosclerospora spp. Berdasarkan pertanyaan-pertanyaan oleh petani dalam kegiatan penyuluhan menunjukkan petani jagung Desa Kesiut telah memiliki pemahaman dasar budidaya jagung hibrida. Namun, perlu diperkaya pengetahuannya tentang teknik budidaya yang baik dan benar terutama mengenai kebutuhan benih, jarak tanam serta teknik pengendalian hama penyakit. Respon petani terhadap kegiatan ini sangat positif. Kesiut Village, with an area of 266 hectares and a population of 2,203 people, the majority of whom work as corn farmers, requires counseling, outreach, and direct demonstrations about hybrid corn cultivation. The method of integrated service activities is lecture activities. Activities are carried out to educate how to cultivate hybrid corn plants, discuss problems, and provide solutions related to hybrid corn cultivation. Initial interview results show that 60% of farmers rarely participate in agricultural training and 40% of corn farmers often experience crop failure. The problem often faced by corn farmers in Kesiut Village is the management of downy mildew pests caused by the fungus Peronosclerospora spp. Based on questions asked by farmers during extension activities, it show that Kesiut Village corn farmers have a basic understanding of hybrid corn cultivation. However, knowledge needs to be enriched regarding good and correct cultivation techniques, especially regarding seed requirements, planting distances, and pest and disease control techniques. Farmers' response to this activity was very positive.
