Abstract

YBM PLN UIWS2JB provides scholarships for high school students who cannot afford school tuition due to poverty or other economic conditions. Since the target is specific, the foundation must carefully select the recipients to ensure the scholarship is granted to those who deserve it. The predetermined criteria combined with the limited quota available become a difficulty in itself as a large number of applications are coming in. Data mining with a classification method using the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm is believed to be one of the alternative solutions to solve this problem. This study aims to examine how this method could help in the selection process to determine who is eligible to receive the scholarship, and it also aims to evaluate the algorithm's performance with the optimal K value. The findings of this research showed that the classification method using K-Nearest Neighbor is the potential to be applied in a case such as this. The results found an accuracy of 91% in the selection process and are included in the Excellent Classification category. The optimal K value obtained is K = 5.

Abstract

This study aims to improve business process efficiency in the PLN Mobile application through the implementation of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). PLN Mobile is a digital innovation by PT PLN (Persero) that allows customers to access services such as bill payment, outage reporting, and service requests. However, various challenges remain, including slow processing times, lack of system integration, and inefficient workflows. The research was conducted at PT PLN (Persero) UP2D S2JB using observation, interviews, and literature review. The results indicate that modeling business processes using BPMN effectively maps workflows, identifies bottlenecks, and offers digital-based solutions. The application of BPMN has been shown to increase transparency, reduce input errors, and accelerate customer service processes. This study recommends ongoing optimization through enhanced analytics features, system security, and regular training for operational staff.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate user satisfaction with the Inspekta Application at PT PLN UP2D S2JB using the PIECES Framework approach, which covers six key aspects: Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, and Service. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 respondents who are active users of the application. The analysis results show that all PIECES indicators scored in the "satisfied" category, with the highest score in the efficiency aspect (4.14) and the lowest in the economic aspect (3.80). Although the Inspekta application has generally had a positive impact on operational efficiency and reporting processes, improvements are still needed in data security and technical support. This study offers strategic recommendations to enhance application quality and support the organization’s overall performance.
