Abstract

This research aims to find out how work stress, self-efficacy, and work-life balance influence employee performance, especially Generation Z workers, which in previous research focused on previous generations with the age gap as a moderating variable. The sample was selected using the purposive sampling method-cross-sectional and distributing questionnaires online using Google Forms with valid respondent data results of 309 respondents. The data processing technique uses SmartPLS version 4. The results of this research show that work stress, self-efficacy, and work-life balance influence employee performance, and also work stress, self-efficacy, and work-life balance influence employee performance with the moderating variable in the form of age gap. The implication of this research that can be considered for companies is the importance of paying attention to work stress, self-efficacy, and work-life balance for workers, especially in Generation Z, with or without an age gap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh stres kerja, efikasi diri, serta keseimbangan kehidupan bekerja terhadap kinerja karyawan terkhusus pada pekerja Generasi Z yang pada penelitian sebelumnya terfokus pada generasi-generasi sebelumnya dengan kesenjangan usia sebagai variabel moderasi. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling-cross sectional dan penyebaran kuesioner secara online menggunakan Google Forms dengan hasil data responden yang valid sebanyak 309 responden. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan SmartPLS versi 4. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja, efikasi diri, dan keseimbangan kehidupan bekerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan dan juga stres kerja, efikasi diri, dan keseimbangan kehidupan bekerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan adanya variabel moderasi berupa kesenjangan usia. Implikasi dari penelitian ini yang dapat diperhatikan bagi perusahaan adalah pentingnya memperhatikan stres kerja, efikasi diri, serta keseimbangan kehidupan bekerja bagi pekerja terutama pada Generasi Z dengan atau tanpa adanya kesenjangan usia.

Abstract

Most orange peels are not utilized and become useless waste that is thrown away. Orange peels contain many nutrients and compounds, such as flavonoids, terpenoids, alkaloids, and essential oils, which are secondary metabolites that act as antibacterial agents. This study intends to investigate the antibacterial activity of sweet orange peel tea against isolated Enterobacteriaceae from a random water depot sample around Universitas Prima Indonesia. This experiment used disc diffusion for antibacterial assay. Meanwhile, the sweet orange peel was brewed using two different methods, including infusion and decoction, in two different masses (3 grams and 5 grams). These sweet orange peel tea formulations were compared to standard (chloramphenicol) and control (distilled water). Enterobacteriaceae was isolated and identified from a random water depot sample around Universitas Prima Indonesia, which included colony identification in EMB agar and MacConkey agar, gram staining, and biochemical test. This study showed that a random water depot sample contaminated by Enterobacteriaceae had properties similar to Citrobacter sp. Sweet orange tea formulation inhibited this isolated Enterobacteriaceae growth (P-Value: 0.010). Antibacterial activity was observed in 3-gram infusion, 5-gram infusion, and 5-gram decoction. However, the antibacterial activity was not better than the standard (chloramphenicol). Overall, it can be concluded that the sweet orange peel tea as infusion or decoction has weak antibacterial activity against Enterobacteriaceae bacteria isolated from water depots, which had some properties similar to Citrobacter sp.

Abstract

Diabetes melitus merupakan salah satu penyakit kronis yang membutuhkan pengelolaan ketat untuk mencegah komplikasi jangka panjang. Salah satu pendekatan yang efektif dalam mengontrol kadar gula darah adalah intervensi non-farmakologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis berbagai metode intervensi non-farmakologis dalam kontrol glikemik pada pasien diabetes melitus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi analisis literatur serta studi observasional terhadap faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kadar gula darah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perubahan pola makan dengan konsumsi makanan indeks glikemik rendah, peningkatan aktivitas fisik, pemantauan gula darah secara rutin, serta edukasi mengenai diabetes berkontribusi secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan kontrol glikemik. Selain itu, pola tidur yang teratur juga berperan dalam meningkatkan sensitivitas insulin dan mengurangi lonjakan kadar gula darah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya penerapan strategi non-farmakologis secara terpadu untuk membantu pasien diabetes dalam mencapai kontrol glikemik yang optimal dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup mereka.

Abstract

This research aims to know hows the performance of SMEs that engaged in culinary in Jakarta due Covid-19 and the effect of cloud accountings, SAK EMKM, and organizational culture towards SMEs performance with environment uncertain as moderating effect. Sample was selected using purposive sampling method and the valid data was 184 respondents. Data processing techniques using SmartPLS 3rd version. The result of this study indicate that cloud accounting, SAK EMKM and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect to SMEs performance, and negative significant effect when those independent variables moderates by environment uncertain to SMEs performance. The implication of this study is the important of SAK EMKM, cloud accounting and also organizational culture for SMEs performance with or without environment uncertain.
