Abstract

Poverty is a serious problem faced by humanity, including in Indonesia. Poverty that is left without a solution will threaten the faith, morals, and thoughts of each individual. More than that, poverty is also very vulnerable to threatening social and national life by causing horizontal conflicts in society. The Quran as a syifa' is expected to be able to provide several solutions to alleviating existing poverty. This research aims to analyze the solutions offered by the Quran regarding poverty alleviation. This research adopts qualitative research whose data comes from the Quran. Quran verses are grouped into relevant themes. Grouping was carried out by reviewing studies by previous scholars. Research finds that empowering potential through work, creating social justice, appropriate use of resources, and distribution of wealth are the Quran's solutions to poverty. The Quran not only emphasizes the importance of each individual's hard work but at the same time also opposes the elite's monopoly on economic resources and encourages the creation of universal social justice.

Abstract

The digital transformation of the financial services sector, particularly within Sharia banking, has brought about significant changes that reshape transaction patterns, the relationship between consumers and financial institutions, and the legal frameworks that support them. While digitalization promotes efficiency, financial inclusion, and accessibility, it also introduces new vulnerabilities technical, contractual, and related to compliance with Sharia principles that may adversely affect consumers. This conceptual article is based on a literature review of 30 national and international scholarly articles published in the last five years, focusing on consumer protection, digital financial services, and Sharia legal ethical principles. Employing a normative-juridical approach and conceptual analysis, the study explores the intersection of consumer protection regulations, the values of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah, and emerging legal challenges within the digital financial landscape. The findings indicate a critical need to reconstruct the paradigm of consumer protection in digital Sharia banking. This reconstruction must transcend formal legal approaches by integrating principles of contractual justice, digital transparency, institutional accountability, and adaptive Sharia ethics. Consequently, consumer protection must be designed not only to respond to digital risks but also to prevent them while remaining consistent with the foundational tenets of Islamic law.

Abstract

Tourism has become an important part of modern life, but moral issues often arise when such activities conflict with Islamic principles. This study seeks to analyze tourism from the perspective of the Qur’an, emphasizing its moral and spiritual aspects. Using the Qur’an as the primary reference supported by classical and contemporary interpretation as well as relevant hadith this research explores how tourism can be regarded as worship when carried out with good intentions and in accordance with Islamic ethics. The findings reveal several Qur’anic principles related to tourism. First, travel should be seen as a means of observing the signs of Allah’s power (QS al-‘Ankabut/29: 20; QS al-Rum/30: 9). Second, individuals must uphold social ethics and tolerance during their journeys (QS al-Hujurat/49: 13). Third, it is essential to preserve the environment (QS al-An‘am/6: 141). Relevant hadith on travel etiquette such as maintaining good character toward others also reinforce these principles. This study concludes that Qur’an-based tourism requires the integration of worship and recreation, focusing on learning, reflection, environmental care, and moral development. Therefore, tourism from an Islamic perspective is not merely recreation; it is an act that encompasses benefiting society, strengthening faith, and promoting moral values.
