Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, many learning activities that were initially carried out face-to-face had to be carried out online. Many schools conduct learning using WhatsApp. This is because many teacher human resources in Medan in particular do not have knowledge of existing learning media technologies such as Google Class Room and Meet. Online Learning Training Programs Using Google Class Room and Google Meet at Pelita Medan Middle School are conducted to train Pelita Medan Middle School teachers to have knowledge and competence in using Google Class Room and Google Meet in the process of teaching and learning activities. After using Google Class Room and Google Meet learning media, it is hoped that the teaching and learning process will get maximum results in the delivery of learning material.

Abstract

The development of computer technology has changed the way humans carry out activities. In the world of education, a teacher no longer has to focus on books as a learning medium. In this modern era, students called generation Z are already technologically literate, so learning methods that use technology are needed that can attract students' attention. Many interesting applications have been developed to support learning activities. There are Android-based and website-based ones. Each application has its own advantages and disadvantages. Quizizz is a website that is widely used as a learning medium because Quizizz is an interactive learning media. With interactive learning media training using the quizizz website, teachers are more creative in stimulating students' interest in learning and can improve student achievement..

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in empowering the community's economy, especially in rural areas. MSMEs are known as the main drivers of the local economy that make significant contributions to creating jobs, increasing household income, and reducing poverty. This study uses a qualitative literature approach by collecting and analyzing data from various literature sources, including books, journal articles, research reports, and relevant government documents. The results of the study indicate that MSMEs have a strategic role in diversifying the local economy, increasing competitiveness, and empowering communities through improving human resource skills and capacity. However, MSMEs also face various challenges, such as limited access to capital and financing, lack of training and mentoring, and limited market access. Therefore, greater support is needed from the government, financial institutions, and the private sector to overcome these obstacles and optimize the role of MSMEs in sustainable economic development. This study is expected to provide insights and recommendations for policy makers and MSME actors in increasing the contribution of MSMEs to community economic empowerment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji persepsi mahasiswa terhadap relevansi mata kuliah Kimia Terapan dalam industri grafika. Studi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterkaitan yang dirasakan mahasiswa antara materi kimia yang diajarkan dan kebutuhan kerja di dunia industri grafika. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi kegiatan pembelajaran, serta analisis dokumen. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari sepuluh mahasiswa program studi Teknik Grafika di tingkat semester IV dan VI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa menilai mata kuliah Kimia Terapan belum memberikan kontribusi langsung terhadap kompetensi kerja mereka karena materi dianggap terlalu teoritis dan minim contoh aplikatif. Temuan juga menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara pendekatan pembelajaran dosen dan harapan mahasiswa akan pembelajaran yang lebih kontekstual dan berbasis praktik. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan kurikulum dan metode pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan kasus-kasus industri dan praktik laboratorium yang sesuai dengan dunia kerja grafika.
