Abstract

PT.X adalah sebuah perusahan yang bergerak dalam bidang pembuatan produk sarung tangan. Mengingat motivasi sangat penting dalam mencapai tujuan dan target perusahan, maka perlu diusahakan agar motivasi kerja karyawan PT.X dapat ditingkatkan. Secara penurunan motivasi kerja dapat diindikasikan dari adanya absen, pura–pura sakit, datang terlambat, cuti tahunan, kurangnya perhatian karyawan dalam bekerja yang merupakan bentuk kegelisahan seperti kecenderungan untuk memperlambat pekerjaan.Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis tingkat motivasi kerja karyawan dan mengindentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi Kerja karyawan.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Expectancy Theory.Metode Expectancy Theory digunakan untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi kerja karyawan, dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor motivasi kerja karyawan. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data maka diperoleh kesimpulan kondisi Karyawan PT.X tingkat motivasi kerja rendah yaitu 16 orang atau sebesar64%, karyawan yang memiliki motivasi sedang sebanyak 4 orang atau sebesarnya 16% dan motivasi tinggi hany 5 orang atau sebesarnya 20%.Faktor utama yang mempengaruhi motivasi kerja karyawan adalah Adanya Kenyamanan tempat kerjadengan total nilai motivasi 1,96.

Abstract

PT. X is a company that is engaged in printing, the high order requires the company to maintain production machines so that consumer orders can be sent according to the specified time. This company is inseparable from the problem of the effectiveness of the printing machine, because this machine is the company's main machine and improper handling and maintenance of the machine will result in losses. Therefore we need effective and efficient steps in machine maintenance to overcome and prevent these problems. This study discusses maintenance performance by taking into account the value of Mean Time Beetwen Failure (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and machine availability, using data from May 2019 to April 2020 to find out information about the actual state of the maintenance system, whether good or bad. Based on the results of MTBF data processing, it is concluded that the reliability of the machine is not stable, the MTTR graph is stable, which means that the ability (skill) of the maintenance operator is good and the machine availability needs to be improved.

Abstract

Objek Wisata Sangkar Burung terletak di Kabupaten Dairi,Sumatera Utara. Kawasan Wisata ini memiliki panorama dan pemandangan yang menarik dan asri. Kawasan Wisata ini memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui potensi kawasan wisata sangkar burung dan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan. Objek dan daya tarik yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis sesuai dengan kriteria penskoringan pada Pedoman Analisis Daerah Operasi Objek dan Daya Tarik Wisata Alam Dirjen PHKA tahun 2003 sesuai dengan nilai yang telah ditentukan untuk masing-masing kriteria. Potensi yang ditawarkan oleh obyek wisata Sangkar Burung adalah adanya flora dan fauna, panorama alam yang indah. Kawasan Wisata Sangkar Burung memiliki potensi wisata alam yang layak dikembangkan dengan persentasi kelayakan 61,75%. Selanjutnya data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis SWOT serta matrik internal dan eksternal (IE). Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh menunjukkan objek wisata ini berada pada Kuadran I yaitu mendukung strategi pertumbuhan agresif yang menunjukkan Objek Wisata ini memiliki kekuatan untuk memanfaatkan peluang yang ada.

Abstract

PT.XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam pembuatan pipa PVC. Dalam proses produksi pipa sering ditemui pemborosan berupa kecacatan produk (defect) hingga 3 % dari produksi dan bottleneck pada stasiun pencampuran dan extruder yang menyebabkan bahan menunggu hingga 3 jam.Selain itu, proses produksi juga memerlukan waktu hingga 3 jam untuk set up mesin extrude.Dalam usaha mengurangi pemborosan maka diperlukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pemborosan yang terjadi di sepanjang proses produksi dan memberikan usulan perbaikan.Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut dilakukan penelitian dengan pendekatan lean manufacturing. Berdasarkan identifikasi pemborosan menggunakan seven waste, pemborosan pada perusahaan ini adalah kecacatan produk, bottleneck, waktu set up mesin extrude hingga 3 jam, dan produksi berlebih sekitar 3374 pipa per bulan. Usulan perbaikan diberikan berdasarkan pemborosan yang terjadi.Perbaikan produk cacat digunakan kartu kanban agar produk cacat yang sudah terjadi tidak dilanjutkan ke proses berikutnya.Hasil rekomendasi usulan perbaikan menunjukkan adanya penghematan waktu dari penggunaan waktu secara aktual.Penghematan waktu perbaikan produk cacat adalah 130,6 menit dari waktu aktualnya 2.045,58 menit atau 5,38 %.Penghematan waktu perbaikan produksi berlebih adalah 30.305,60 menit dari waktu aktualnya 44.475,29 menit atau 66,14 %.Penghematan waktu perbaikan bottleneck adalah 98,56 menit dari waktu aktualnya 316,37 menit atau 31,73 %.Penghematan waktu perbaikan waktu set up mesin extrude adalah 50,34 menit dari waktu aktualnya 220,15 menit atau 26,32 %.

Abstract

Laboratorium Teknik Grafika memiliki banyak kendala dalam pelaksanaan proses praktikum seperti keterbatasan fasilitas dan biaya. Penyediaan peralatan dan kebutuhan bahan praktikum membutuhkan biaya yang besar sedangkan dana yang tersedia terbatas. Kelayakan Peralatan praktikum juga minim karena kualitas rendah. Fokus penelitian ini adalah adalah perancangan Virtual Laboratory pada Praktikum Pengujian Bahan Grafika Perancangan Praktikum secara virtual dapat mengurangi kegiatan tatap muka khususnya karena Pandemi Covid 19 dan mempermudah dalam penyampaian materi dari dosen kepada praktikan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development berupa analisis kebutuhan, desain modul, produksi media berbasis virtual, evaluasi sampai produk akhir berupa praktikum berbasis Virtual.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies through strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, to compile IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Summary) and EFAS (External Factor Summary Analysis) and to find out marketing strategies in CV KMP after being analyzed by SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities , Threaths). The conditions in the company in the face of fierce competition are marked by the increase of companies in the same field. This study identifies internal factors and external factors of the company. Data was collected through observation and division of questionnaires to workers totaling 20 people. The results of the study show the following values: (1) The results of IFAS analysis are 0.55 that the strategic position is in the average position, where the strongest factor in the company's internal is the guaranteed product quality and the building is the property. (2) EFAS analysis results obtained a score of 0.14 where this position is a middle position from the company's external factors, meaning that there are still many companies to optimize opportunities to minimize existing threats.

Abstract

The purpose of designing a lecture chair with additional functions is to provide comfort to students while wearing a lecture chair for a long time, ease in meeting the needs of the students. The lecture chairs are designed to suit the needs of the students, such as comfortable seating, board supplies for writing, bags and there is also a drinking area on the left. as well as for students to not bother holding their bags while writing and listening to lecturers teaching. The technique used in alternative development is through brainstorm. The use of this technique by collecting some input obtained from the students who had sat in the lecture chairs in the Department of Industrial Engineering Faculty of Engineering University of Quality. From the input obtained through brainstorming made a morphological map that is useful to choose the best alternative in designing a versatile lecture product.

Abstract

The kanban system is an information system that harmoniously controls the production of the required product in the required quantity at the time required in each manufacturing process and also between companies. CV X is a small-scale industry that produces assembled products. In this study, the focus is on the process of making earbuds which consists of three work centers, namely the activities of making Power Supply, installing Speaker Kits and Installing Speakers. This product is the product that is the most in order, demand over thousands for a month. The purpose of this research is to provide information on picking and transport, providing production information, preventing overproduction or overloading, acting as orders that are attached directly to components, preventing defective products by recognizing processes that create defects and disclosing existing problems and maintaining stock control. Based on the calculation, the number of kanban cards needed by work center I is 1,439, work center II is 1,165, work center III is 1,189, so the total required kanban card is 3,793 pieces

Abstract

CV.X is a company engaged in the printing sector. The main production is screen printing t-shirts because the demand is always there and increases every month. This company determines demand in the next period only with data from the previous period. The demand for t-shirts is the highest demand from other graphic products. This company has not implemented production planning by trial and error for the implementation of its production. In this study, a production plan will be analyzed and proposed by adjusting the production level, labor requirements, inventory, overtime, sub-contracts and all variables that can be controlled by the company. The demand approach for the next period is carried out using the exponential forecasting method and the aggregate planning calculation using the Heuristic method. The results obtained from forecasting with the value of Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) Exponential Method = 0.94. The cost of calculating the Labor Control Method is 28,654,800, the cost with labor control is 28,654,800, the cost with Mixed with Sub Contracts is 28,007,969.1, so the planning method is chosen with a mix of sub contracts

Abstract

Quality is a physical characteristic of a product in terms of meeting customer satisfaction. Paying attention to the importance of the quality of a product produced by a company, efforts are needed to prevent errors in production activities. The aim of this prevention effort is to reduce the number of reject products produced as small as possible so as to reduce the company's losses. PT X is a manufacturing company that produces zinc. In its production activities, defective products are still found. The purpose of this research is to improve the quality of zinc produced so as to reduce the number of defects in the production of PT. X or if it is possible to achieve zero defect. The data collected is product data generated on January 10 to February 10, 2021. From the calculation of the probability of the risk of disability the largest probability is rust defect with a probability value of 0.47, while the smallest probability of disability risk is perforated defect with a probability value of 0.060. Based on the control chart p, it can be seen that the data obtained is not entirely within the control limits that have been determined even many are out of control limits, only 7 (seven) points are within the control limits, so it can be said that the process is out of control. This indicates that there is a high deviation. This states that quality control at PT. X needs a fix. Supervision of workers on the oven plays an important role in avoiding zinc defects. In addition, workers must also be careful in arranging the composition.
