Abstract

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang sedang diteliti mengambil mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak materi Indahnya Kalimat Tayyibah dengan menerapkan metode gambar (picture and picture) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV MIS Assalam. Penerapan metode picture and picture dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada indahnya kalimat tayyibah (Subhanallah, Masyaallah, dan Allahu Akbar) pada kelas IV MIS Assalam Martapura. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah 1). Dari hasil observasi memperlihatkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I dan siklus II yang meningkat dari 63,64 % menjadi 90,91 %. 2). Penguasaan siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran menunjukkan peningkatan. Hal ini dapat ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata hasil ulangan harian (rata-rata ulangan harian 70,23 menjadi 92,72 ulangan harian II) setelah menggunakan metode pembelajaran picture and picture. 3). Melalui metode pembelajaran picture and picture, Para siswa cepat tanggap atas materi yang disampaikan karena diiringi dengan gambar-gambar, melatih siswa untuk menalar apa yang disajikan melalui gambar, dan menciptakan serta mendorong siswa supaya siswa lebih aktif.

Abstract

The escalating contamination of heavy metals such as lead (Pb), zinc (Zn), and copper (Cu) in wetland ecosystems poses a significant threat to environmental integrity and public health. This study aims to assess the phytoremediation potential of purun tikus (Eleocharis dulcis) for the accumulation and reduction of these heavy metals in contaminated sediment and water matrices. An experimental approach was employed wherein purun tikus specimens were cultivated for 20 days in media artificially contaminated with varying concentrations of Pb (5, 10, 15 mg/L), Zn (80, 90, 100 mg/L), and Cu (80, 90, 100 mg/L). There was no significant difference (p > 0.05) in the accumulation of heavy metals Pb, Zn, and Cu in the roots, stems, and leaves of purun plants between treatment times of 5, 10, 15, and 20 days. The duration of treatment did not significantly affect the ability of purun plants to accumulate these heavy metals. The descriptive differences seen although not statistically significant are likely due to the small sample size and high variability of the data. The highest removal efficiencies were observed for Pb in stems (95.97%), Zn in roots (81.59%), and Cu in stems (66.10%). These findings indicate that purun tikus exhibits selective metal uptake and distribution mechanisms coupled with high tolerance to heavy metal stress, affirming its efficacy as a phytoremediator for rehabilitating heavy metal-contaminated wetlands and supporting sustainable ecosystem management.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compile a systematic literature review to evaluate the effectiveness of the discovery learning model in improving critical thinking skills and science process skills among high school students. The importance of improving 21st-century skills, such as critical thinking skills (KBKr) and science process skills (KPS), is a major focus in education today. The Discovery Learning (DL) model is highly relevant because it places students at the center of learning, encouraging them to actively seek, analyze, and conclude their own findings. The method used was a systematic review of 50 scientific articles. These articles were searched for in the Publish or Perish and Spiece databases, with publication years limited to 2022 to 2025. The subjects of the study were research documents discussing the implementation of DL and the results of measuring its impact on high school students' critical thinking and science process skills. The results of the review concluded that the application of the discovery learning model has been proven to significantly improve high school students' critical thinking skills. In addition, the effectiveness of this model is optimized when combined with interactive teaching media, such as picture storybooks
