Abstract

Jenis mangrove tertentu sangat menarik jika ditanam di dalam pot. Tulisan ini dibuat berdasarkan hasil percobaan dan pengenalan mangrove sebagai tanaman hias kepada masyarakat. Diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi dan inspirasi tentang pemilihan jenis dan prospek mangrove sebagai tanaman hias dalam pot. Pemilihan jenis mangrove tergantung kepada selera masing.masing. Selama ini belum banyak yang mencoba secara intensif untuk kepentingan bisnis, sehingga menjadi peluang yang prospektif. Pemanfaatan mangrove seyogyanya dilakukan dengan tetap memperhatikan pelestariannya.

Abstract

Kegiatan menanam lahan tidur halaman rumah merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh kelompok wanita tani Desa Rakit Kecamatan Rakit Kabupaten Banjarnegara.Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan melalui konsep pemanfaatan dan optimalisasi serta pengembangan budidaya sayuran organik berbasis ramah lingkungan.Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah minimnya pengetahuan dan kesadaran tentang pemanfaatan lahan tidur halaman rumah.Mayoritas masyarakat selama ini masih membiarkan lahan tidur halaman rumah kosong atau tidak dimanfaatkan.Tujuan kegiatan diarahkan pada peningkatan kualitas kesehatan akan kebutuhan gizi keluarga. Selain itu ditujukan untuk membantu peningkatan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan keluarga.Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu pendidikan masyarakat dan pelatihan yang ditujukan kepada kelompok wanita tani.Pendidikan masyarakat dilakukan melalui kegiatan penyuluhan tentang teknik budidaya sayuran organik dengan optimalisasi dan pemanfaatan lahan tidur halaman rumah, teknik penanganan pascapanen dan strategi bauran pemasaran produk sayuran organik .Pelatihan berupa demonstrasi langsung atau praktik menanam lahan tidur halaman rumah dengan budidaya dan penanganan pascapanen sayuran organik dan pembuatan pestisida nabati.Kegiatan pemberdayaan kelompok wanita tani tersebut memberikan manfaat berupa peningkatan pengetahuandan kesadaran kelompok akan pentingnya pemanfaatan lahan tidur halaman rumah yang bersih, sehat dan ramah lingkungan. Selain itu memberikan manfaat adanya peningkatan keterampilan kelompok dalam penerapan teknik budidaya dan penanganan pascapanen sayuran organik.

Abstract

Kesantunan berbahasa pada wacana siaran program hiburan televisi swasta di Indonesia merupakan fenomena yang menarik untuk dikaji dari perspektif pragmatik karena interaksi sosial dan verbal penyiar televisi swasta menciptakan wacana yang mencerminkan kultur yang tipikal. Sementara itu, bahasa yang mereka tuturkan berpotensi untuk diserap masyarakat dan direalisasi dalam interaksi komunikasi.Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsi dan menemukan wujud tuturan  santun oleh penyiar pada wacana  siaran program hiburan televisi swasta Indonesia dan ciri-ciri tuturan santun yang digunakan tersebut, (2) mengidentifikasi skala kesantunan oleh penyiar televisi pada wacana siaran program hiburan televisi swasta Indonesia, (3) memaparkan bidal-bidal yang dilanggar oleh penyiar televisi dan implikasi pragmatis yang ada pada wacana siaran program hiburan televisi swasta Indonesia. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan ada dua, yakni pendekatan metodologis dan teoretis. Pendekatan metodologis tersebut adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun pendekatan secara teoretis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pragmatik.Speech politeness on broadcast program of entertainment in Indonesia private television broadcast is an interesting phenomenon to be studied from a pragmatic perspective cause social interaction and typical verbal broadcaster create typical culture. Meanwhile, their speech which is spoken is received by society and realized in interaction communication.Therefore, this research aims (1) to describe and find a form of speech mannered broadcaster on the broadcast discourse used in an entertainment program of an Indonesian private television, (2) to identify the politenessscale encountered by the television broadcaster in the broadcast discourse used in an entertainment program of an Indonesian private relevision (3) to present the thimbles infringed by the television broadcaster with its pragmatic implications that found in their broadcast discourse in the entertainment program of an Indonesian private television. There are two approaches that are particularly used in the research, those are methodological and theoretical approaches. The methodological approach refers to a qualitative descriptive. While, this research dealt with the use of a theoretical approach in the form of a pragmatic approach.

Abstract

Lembaga Penerbangan dan Antariksa Nasional mendukung penuh komitmen pemerintah Indonesia untuk melakukan penurunan emisi gas rumah kaca (GRK) 26 hingga 41 persen pada tahun 2020 dan berkontribusi melalui metode standar – perubahan tutupan hutan dalam Indonesian National Carbon Accounting System (INCAS). Metode standar ini menjelaskan proses yang digunakan program penginderaan jauh INCAS - Analisis Perubahan Tutupan Lahan (LCCA), dalam memantau perubahan tutupan hutan di Indonesia untuk menghasilkan peta tahunan luas dan perubahan hutan nasional dari citra Landsat dalam rentang waktu periode 13 tahun dari 2000 hingga 2012 dan menjadi input untuk penghitungan karbon. INCAS menyediakan sebuah pendekatan yang sistematis dan konsisten secara nasional untuk mengukur emisi dan serapan GRK sektor berbasis lahan, utamanya sektor kehutanan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan perluasan cara tradisional pelaksanaan diseminasi dengan menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi spasial. Dalam upaya memudahkan pelaksanaan penyebarluasan informasi kepada masyarakat luas dengan baik, dikembangkan sistem diseminasi berbasis “Aplikasi Web Sistem Informasi Geografis”. Informasi yang dihasilkan mudah diakses melalui jaringan informasi elektronik dan berinteraksi melalui peramban web. Pengguna secara mudah dapat menerapkan penyajian visualisasi spasial dinamis,  menjalankan fungsi-fungsi operasi pemetaan web dan analissi spasial informasi perubahan tutupan hutan Indonesia untuk mendukung inventarisasi nasional emisi dan serapan GRK.

Abstract

The study of Balanophora in South Sumatra has been carried out from July-August 2018. This research uses the direct observation and collection method in 3 km long track in the Bukit Jambul Gunung Patah Protection Forest Area, South Sumatra. Sample identification was carried out in the Biology Department of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Sriwijaya University. The results show that there is one Balanophora species, B. elongata. There are 2 subspecies of this species, namely B. elongata var. elongata and B. elongata var. ungeriana (Valeton) B. Hansen. The difference between these 2 subspecies is var. ungeriana in the tubers is not elongated with longitudinally coarse luruk leaves. At that location only found species of B. elongata var. ungeriana. Distribution: Peninsula Malaysia, Borneo, Sumatra, Java, and mostly in West Java for subsp. ungeriana is only recorded on the island of Java precisely at Mount Salak and Mount Gede in West Java. This species is the first record for the Sumatra Island. There are around 30 individual species of B. elongata var. ungeriana respectively 23 female individuals and 7 male individuals. Bulbs, leaf characters and flower types are important to identifying the species of Balanophora. Most of these species are found in habitats where they have a height of 1000-2800 meters above sea level which are suitable for habitat in the Bukit Jambul Gunung Patah Protection Forest Area.

Abstract

The potential for the carbon content of mangrove forests is four times greater than other forest, this important information needs to be measured to determine the value of carbon stocks at a given time and their changes. The research was done in November 2018-March 2019 in Berbak and Sembilang National Park, Banyuasin, South Sumatra, in each location three transect lines were determined perpendicular to the land as far as 100 m and made 5 plots of 10 x10 m with a distance between plots of 10 m on each transect. The aims are to determine species richness, biomass value, estimated stored carbon reserves, and CO2 uptake in Bruguiera spp. stands. Analysis of comparison of the results of data using descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the results of the study found 4 types of Bruguiera spp. that is Bruguiera cylindrica, Bruguiera parviflora, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, and Bruguiera sexangula. The total value of the biomass of 410,01 ton/ha, carbon stocks estimation of 189,02 ton C/ha, and the CO2 uptake of 693,69 ton CO2/ha. The results of a statistic descriptive analysis of estimated carbon stocks and CO2 uptake, in Barong Kecil river where of the most areas has been deforested into ponds, have the lowest value than the other research locations like Solok Buntu and Bungin river, with sequential carbon values of 11,51 ton C/ha in Barong Kecil river, 227,66 ton C/ha in Bungin river, and 327,88 ton C/ha in Solok Buntu river, and CO2 uptake of 42,23 ton CO2/ha in Barong Kecil river, 835,52 ton CO2/ha in Bungin river, and 1.203,33 ton CO2/ha in Solok Buntu river.

Abstract

The initial phase of the fish life cycle is a critical phase associated with high mortality due to sensitivity to predators, food availability, and also environmental changes that occur in nature. Disruption of the initial stages of fish life has a negative impact on fish populations. Until now there has been no information about fish larvae around the Banyuasin River Estuary. Therefore, research is needed on the diversity of fish larvae around the Banyuasin River Estuary, South Sumatra Province. This research were used purposive sampling method, sampling technique in the form of Cruise Track Design with continuous parallel survey trajectory. Based on the results of the study found as many as 10 families consisting of 1483 individuals of fish larvae in March and 1013 individuals of fish larvae in May consisting of Engraulidae 1,601 individuals of fish larvae, Mungiloidei as many as 109 individuals, Leiognathidae 50 individuals, Chanidae 453 individuals, Scatophagidae 20 individuals , Belonidae 39 individuals, Gobioididae 5 individuals, Chandidae 183 individuals, Syngnatihidae 6 individuals, and Gobiidae 30 individuals fish larvae. The index value of fish larvae diversity is classified as medium category (March 1.02 and May 1.12), Morisita index shows the distribution pattern of fish larvae classified as a group (March 0-14.17 and May 2.43-10.40 ), and the evenness index value is in the medium category (March 0.437 and May 0.521).

Abstract

In the hatchery of white shrimp larvae, there are some problems, such as a decreased water quality and diseases caused by bacteria which cause a decrease in shrimp growth. The solution to reduce these problems is by applying synbiotics. This research aimed to make an innovative synbiotic formula for the absolute length growth and survival rate of white shrimp larvae (Litopenaeus vannamei) as well as the total number of bacteria and the number of Vibrio sp. In this study, there were four treatments, as follows: C-: negative control (without synbiotic application) C+: positive control (commercial synbiotic) P: probiotic 2.5 x 105 cfu/ml and prebiotic 1,5 ppm Q: probiotic 5 x 105 cfu/ml and prebiotic 1 ppm R: probiotic 7,5 x 105 cfu/ml and prebiotic 0,5 ppm S: probiotic 106 cfu/ml and prebiotic 2 ppm, each treatment with four repetitions. This research was set up in a completely randomized design experiment using twenty-four plastic tanks with 50 L total volume filled with 20 L sterile sea water and stocked with 4,000 nauplii in the PT. Citra Larva Cemerlang hatchery, Kalianda, Lampung. Variables observed in this research were survival rate, absolute length growth, total bacterial and Vibrio sp. counts, and water quality in the white shrimp larvae (Litopenaeus vannamei). The results showed that the best survival rate is in treatment S (probiotic 106 cfu/ml and prebiotic 2 ppm) (87.7%), the highest absolute length growth is in treatment P (3.8 mm), the highest total bacteria was in treatment S (11.1 log cfu/ml), and the best total Vibrio sp. is in treatment S (3.5 log cfu/ml). Water quality of the six treatments shows results that are still in normal conditions following Indonesian National Standard SNI 7311: 2009.

Abstract

Forest and land fires are Indonesia's biggest problem which has continued from 2014 to the present. The number of activities to find the best solution in fire is something that has been done until now. Various methods, both preventive and repressive, have been implemented to prevent forest and land fires from occurring. This research aims to be a sureextinguishing gel, namely hydrogel, which can be used in efforts to extinguish forest and land fires. Extinguishing forest and land fires using hydrogel is a new method that is expected to prevent forest and land fire zones from spreading. This research shows that the tendency of decreasing the average water content of peat due to the drying process based on different intervals of oven time, namely the lowest yield ranged from 61.25% to the highest with a water content of 109.57%.
