Abstract

This research aims to understand social action through the lens of Structuration and Agency Theory, with a special focus on the thought of Anthony Giddens and Malcolm Walters. Giddens' Structuration Theory emphasizes the dialectical relationship between agency (individual action) and structure (social rules and resources), where structure not only constrains but also enables action. The concept of duality of structure shows that structure is both the medium and the result of social action. Walters expands this concept by highlighting how individuals, through reflexive capacities, can reproduce or change social structures. This research uses library research methods. The research results show that a deeper understanding of the interaction between agency and structure can enrich sociological analyzes of social change and the sustainability of social structures.

Abstract

In fact, Islam Nusantara is not something new. The bolding of the word "Nusantara" combined with "Islam" not only emphasizes the name, but also the character to show the pattern or color of a heterogeneous entity. In the past, Indonesia was known as the archipelago, but now it has changed because it has become a sovereign unitary state. Indonesia is also one of the largest places for the Islamic religion with the most adherents, which has its own unique characteristics in the history of its development. Indonesian Islam is spread, taught and adhered to in a peaceful and well-received manner. In the process of Islam entering the archipelago, there were several theoretical debates. This diversity of theories occurs because we look at the current conditions and realities of Muslims in the archipelago. Indications of religious practices, historical heritage and even customs carried out by Indonesian Muslims are important indicators to answer the first arrival of Islam. The entry of Islam into the archipelago brought by merchants, Sufis and ulama had its own characteristics starting from economic, political, educational, and even accommodating local culture. Introducing Islam as a new religion to people who already have animist beliefs, dynamism and have embraced Hinduism and Buddhism makes the ulama take a cultural approach. Apart from displaying good morals, the ulama in their daily lives also carry out acculturation to culture and even religion and community beliefs to introduce, teach and preach peaceful Islam. This cultural acculturation then makes Islam as a new religion easy to understand, accept and follow by society

Abstract

Penelitaian ini untuk mengetahui Makna, Sifat-sifat dan tahapan Nuzul Al-Qur'an. Alquran Menurut Istilah Alquran menurut istilah adalah firman Allah SWT. Yang disampaikan oleh Malaikat Jibril dengan redaksi langsung dari Allah SWT. Kepada Nabi Muhammad SAW, dan yang diterima oleh umat Islam dari generasi ke generasi tanpa ada perubahan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Metode penelitian kualitatif metodologi kualitatif akan digunakan untuk menggali makna, sifat-sifat, dan tahapan Nuzul Al-Qur'an dengan pendekatan yang mendalam dan holistik. Proses penurunan Al-Qur'an secara bertahapan ini menunjukkan kebijaksanaan dan ketelitian Allah SWT dalam memberikan wahyu-Nya kepada manusia. Turunnya Al-Qur'an kepada Nabi Muhammad SAW dengan porsi yang disesuaikan dengan keadaan, waktu, dan tempat menegaskan bahwa Al-Qur'an adalah wahyu yang dikomunikasikan secara berangsur-angsur dalam konteks sejarah dan kebutuhan masyarakat pada saat itu. Seperti halnya seluruh proses cipta, penurunan wahyu Al-Qur'an juga dilakukan Allah SWT dengan cara yang sempurna, memberikan arahan yang jelas dan petunjuk bagi umat manusia selamanya.
