Abstract

Salah satu yang menjembatani pendidikan dan budaya khususnya pendidikan matematika adalah etnomatematika. Sifat matematika cenderung linier dan kaku tetapi apabila diintegrasikan dengan sesuatu yang soft seperti budaya, maka menjadi lentur. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi aktivitas etnomatematika pada baju bodo pakaian adat pernikahan suku bugis yang memiliki berbagai komponen yang menggambarkan beberapa konsep matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi untuk menyelidiki dan mendapatkan deskripsi serta analisis mendalam tentang suatu kelompok kebudayaan berdasarkan penelitian lapangan (fieldwork) dalam periode waktu tertentu secara intensif. Penentuan subjek penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan baju bodo mencakupi beberapa aktivitas etnomatematika diantaranya aktivitas menghitung pada baju bodo beserta aksesorisnya ditemukan memiliki komponen-komponen yang berjumlah ganjil, aktivitas mengukur dengan ukuran yang digunakan pada komponen baju bodo seperti baju, sarung, pengikat lengan dan pengikat pinggang menggunakan satuan nonbaku yakni hasta atau sama dengan ukuran satu telapak tangan orang dewasa, aktivitas mendesain dengan memperhatikan bentuk setiap komponen serta pola pada baju ditemukan bentuk pola bangun dan motif desain geometri yang mendominasi beberapa komponen dari baju bodo dan pada kain bawahan baju bodo memiliki motif kotak-kotak yang simetris bangun datar, dan aktivitas menjelaskan pemaknaan daerah setempat pada setiap komponen baju bodo dari segi bagaimana pengukurannya, jumlah komponen yang ganjil, alasan dari bentuk dan warna setiap komponen baju bodo. Penelitian ini menunjukkan beberapa aktivitas etnomatematika yang terdapat pada komponen baju bodo diantaranya aktivitas menghitung, aktivitas mengukur, aktivitas mendesain dan aktivitas menjelaskan.

Abstract

Item analysis is carried out to improve the quality of items through revision or discarding ineffective items. This study aims to determine the quality of the items of the Summative Assessment of Science Subjects Class VII SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak Academic Year 2022/2023. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method. Data obtained through documentation in the form of student answer sheets tested to 135 students with 30 multiple choice questions analyzed in aspects of validity, reliability, difficulty level, and differentiability with the Rasch Model using the R Program, especially R-Studio. The results of the analysis show that the questions have good validity quality because there are only 28 items that fit (93%) and 2 items that do not fit (7%), the reliability is categorized as sufficient with a reliability value of 0.683, the level of difficulty is good because it has a level of difficulty that varies from the category of very difficult, difficult, easy and very easy, good distinguishing power because it distributes person ability into 5 scales, namely very low, low, medium, high and very high so that it can measure students with diverse abilities, so that based on the results of the analysis it can be judged that the questions have good quality with good validity, sufficient reliability, good difficulty level and good distinguishing power.

Abstract

Item analysis is carried out to improve the quality of items through revision or discarding ineffective items. This study aims to determine the quality of items of Summative Assessment of Science Subjects Class VII SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak Academic Year 2022/2023. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method. Data was obtained through documentation in the form of student answer sheets tested to 135 students with 30 multiple choice questions analyzed in aspects of validity, reliability, difficulty level, and differentiating power using Anates. The results of the analysis using Anates show that the questions have good validity because there are 22 valid items (73%) and 8 invalid items (27%), good reliability with a reliability index of 0.86 categorized as high correlation, the level of difficulty has good quality with questions classified as moderate totaling 19 items (64%), the differentiating power is good with very good categories totaling 4 items (13%), good totaling 15 items (50%) and sufficient totaling 6 items (20%) so that the results of the analysis show that the questions have good quality because they have aspects of validity, reliability, difficulty level and good differentiating power.
