Abstract

Analysis of the pattern of guest visits at the Rio Asri Bengkulu Hotel with the a priori algorithm is carried out to obtain rules and predict the next guest visit and provide guests with marketing rewards to increase the interest of other visitors in utilizing and using hotel services regularly or periodically. A priori analysis is defined as a process to find all the rules that meet the minimum requirements for support and the minimum requirements for confidence. The implementation of the system uses the Visual Basic 2010 programming language and the method used in this study is the waterfall method. The results of the analysis carried out with the variables used are arrival time, number of guests, area of ​​origin and class of room chosen by guests, it is found that the itemset with the best pattern is influenced by the specified minimum support value.

Abstract

Security issues are one of the most important aspects in the world of information technology, such as document security. Most of the documents are created through the Microsoft Office application package, because it is easy to use. There are several applications available in Microsoft Office, namely Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Powerpoint, and others that are used to process words and numbers according to user needs. Comparative analysis of the Blowfish algorithm and the DES algorithm in the encryption process is carried out based on 3 comparison aspects, namely processing time, file size and memory used. Comparisons were made with 40 test data in the form of document files, each consisting of 10 test data with extension formats *.docx, *.xlsx, *.pdf, and *.pptx, where these formats are familiar in data processing using Microsoft Office. Based on the tests that have been carried out, it can be concluded that in the encryption process, the DES Algorithm has a faster time than the Blowfish Algorithm with a percentage of the DES Algorithm's encryption processing time of 3.7975%. In the decryption process, the DES Algorithm has a faster time compared to the Blowfish Algorithm with a percentage of the DES Algorithm's encryption processing time of 3.595%. In the encryption process, the file size in the DES Algorithm increases bytes less than the file size in the Blowfish Algorithm. In the decryption process, the file size in the DES Algorithm and the Blowfish Algorithm does not change, because the file size returns to the original file size. In the encryption process, the DES Algorithm uses less memory compared to the Blowfish Algorithm with the percentage of memory used by the DES Algorithm being 49.655%. In the decryption process, the Blowfish Algorithm uses less memory compared to the DES Algorithm with the percentage of memory used by the Blowfish Algorithm 49.5925%

Abstract

Apotek Zhafirah often experience difficulties in making decisions for drug procurement. This is due to a factor that must be considered by the dispensary manager, namely the number of sales of drug items. Pharmacy managers are required to find ways to control the right order so as to reduce the occurrence of drug accumulation. The system is designed by paying attention to user needs related to Pareto ABC analysis process, which is a method used for inventory planning analysis. The system implementation uses the Visual Basic 2010 programming language and the research method used in this research is the waterfall method. Waterfall method is able to analyze the needs used to find out from the weaknesses of the old system, then make a design and continue with the design of the new system. By using Pareto ABC method, the results showed that drug data from January to December 2022 for the type of drug acarbose 50Mg consisted of Group A (March, June, July, August, September), Group B (January, April, May October) and Group C (February, November, December) while the amount of procurement was 9,642.

Abstract

Security and confidentiality issues are one of the important aspects of data, messages and information. One technique that can maintain data confidentiality is cryptography. Vigenere Cipher is one of the classic cryptographic algorithms that works by reading words per character, where if the message sent exceeds the length of the key used, the key will be repeated until the message sent gets each key. The system implementation uses Visual Basic 2010 programming language and the method used in this research is waterfall, this application is designed using UML (Unified Modeling Language). The result of this research is a software application that is useful for maintaining the confidentiality of messages with the Vigenere Cipher algorithm method. With this application can be one solution in securing data in the chat process.

Abstract

Medical performance assessment aims to improve service quality. The obstacle faced is the difficulty of evaluating medical performance objectively due to the many criteria and responsibilities of medical personnel for services. To overcome these obstacles, a Decision Support System using the Weight Product method is needed to be utilized as a tool in supporting the decision-making process. The Weight Product method uses multiplication to connect attribute ratings, where the rating of each attribute is first multiplied by the weight of the attribute concerned. The system implementation uses Visual Basic 2010 programming language and the method used in this research is the waterfall method. From the test results, it can be concluded that the medical performance assessment using Weight Product can be done well by taking the top number of medical personnel from the ranking process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to apply the Monte Carlo method in predicting the number of new student enrollments at SMK Negeri 7 Bengkulu City. The very rapid development of technology and information in the current era provides many benefits that can help and facilitate human work, one of which is in the field of prediction. Techniques in making predictions or estimates are a very important medium in carrying out appropriate planning in the fields of business, education, economics and other fields with the aim of making decisions as a basis for strategies to improve the quality and quantity of an institution or organization, both private and government. SMK Negeri 7 Bengkulu City is one of the State Vocational High Schools in Bengkulu City, every year SMK N 7 Bengkulu City carries out the process of accepting new students. New Student Admissions (PPDB) is the initial process in teaching and learning activities. Currently, the problem that occurs in PPDB is the failure to achieve the quota of students who register, resulting in many empty seats. The research method used by the author is the system development method. The results of this study are that the application for predicting the number of new student enrollments using the Monte Carlo method has been successfully implemented and predicts the number of new student enrollments based on the chosen major. Second, to predict the number of new student registrations, a Monte Carlo prediction model was first created or formed. Third, by using this Monte Carlo method, SMK Negeri 7 Kota Bengkulu can evaluate and predict the number of new student registrations which can be used to make preparations such as classroom equipment, laboratory equipment, procurement of stationery and human resources (teachers and teaching staff).
