Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of self-compassion on loneliness, of overseas student in University of Education Indonesia. The study used quantitative method with 260 participants. The research used instruments Indonesian Self-compassion Scale – Short Version (Oktyana, 2013) and UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3 to measure loneliness adapted by Irsalina (2013) from Rusell (1996). This used simple regression to analyze the effect of Self Compassion to Lonelines. The result showed there were significant effect of self-compassion to loneliness with R square 0,096. The freshmen tend to lonelines, so the university must overcome their loneliness.

Abstract

Pada dunia pendidikan berbagai permasalahan ditemukan oleh pendidik baik dari proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, atau permasalahan dari peserta didik itu sendiri. Salah satu permasalahan yang dialai yaitu rendahnya motivasi belajar peserta didik.  Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini berfokus pada proses peningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan Box Sila Solah pada mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila kelas 2 di SDN 11 Mataram. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu dengan Teknik pengumpulan data obseervasi dan kuesioner. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi peserta didik mengalai peningkatan yang dapat dilihat pada perolehan nilai peserta didik dari siklus I dan siklus II. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat pada hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentasi hasil observasi pada siklus I berada pada angka 68%, sedangkan pada siklus II mencapai angka rata-rata 80,8%. Selain itu hasil kuesioner juga menunuukkan hasil yang cukup baik dimana rata-rata motivasi belajar peserta didik pada siklus I sebesar 70% dan meningkat sebesar 14% pada siklus II sehingga motivasi belajar peserta didik mencapai 84%, dengan demikian motivasi belajar peserta didik terbilang tinggi. Oleh karena itu Upaya meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan media box sila solah pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila kelas 2 di SDN 11 Mataram dikatakan berhasil.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance learning motivation among second-grade students at SDN 14 Cakranegara through the implementation of Wordwall as an instructional medium. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method, integrating both qualitative and quantitative data analyses. The study was designed as a Classroom Action Research (CAR) involving 32 students as participants. The findings showed that during the first cycle, the average learning outcome score using Wordwall media reached 64%, categorized as moderate achievement. In the second cycle, the average score increased to 86%, categorized as very good achievement. These results indicate that the use of Wordwall as an interactive learning medium effectively enhances students’ learning motivation, particularly in mastering question sentence material among second-grade students at SDN 14 Cakranegara.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the implementation of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model supported by Wordwall media in improving students’ participation and learning outcomes. The research subjects consisted of 25 third-grade students of class IIIA at SD Negeri 11 Mataram. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which includes the stages of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting, and was conducted over two learning cycles. The research instruments comprised observation sheets and individual evaluation tests. The results indicated an improvement in students’ learning participation. The level of learning participation in the pre-cycle stage was 59%, which increased to 74% in the first cycle and further rose to 87% in the second cycle. The increase in learning participation had a positive impact on students’ learning outcomes, which showed progressive improvement. In the pre-cycle stage, the average learning outcome score was 73. This score increased to an average of 80.5 in the first cycle and showed a significant improvement to 86 in the second cycle. Based on these findings, the STAD cooperative learning model assisted by Wordwall media can serve as an effective solution to enhance student participation and create an enjoyable learning environment during the learning process, thereby improving learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve the learning outcomes in Integrated Social and Natural Sciences (IPAS) of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 11 Mataram on the topic Norms in My Life through the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles, each conducted in one meeting. The study was carried out at SD Negeri 11 Mataram during the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, involving 25 fourth-grade students as research participants. In Cycle I, only 56% of students achieved mastery of learning outcomes. This percentage increased significantly to 84% in Cycle II. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the CRT approach is effective in improving students’ IPAS learning outcomes, particularly on the topic Norms in My Life.
