Abstract

Education plays an important role in improving the quality of human resources. Through education, students are expected to acquire the right intelligence, skills, and attitudes towards life in order to successfully face their environment. However, there are still many parents and teachers who only prioritize their children's academic ability and prioritize grades. There are differing views on this issue as to whether parents and teachers prioritize student academic achievement or student non-academic achievement. Even if children are created differently for something bigger in this world. Yes, a student's achievement is not only achieved through academic achievement, but also through non-academic achievement, students can develop their potential according to their talents and become great in their own way. Intelligence or intelligence can be described as the ability to understand the world, think rationally, and use resources effectively when faced with difficulties. Intelligence or intelligence can be described as the ability to understand the world, think rationally, and use resources effectively when faced with difficulties. God created man with a wide variety of abilities, talents, and natural intelligence (IQ). In addition, basically every human being is born with a hidden set of intelligences waiting to be developed in order to improve his abilities and achieve his dreams and goals in life.

Abstract

Psikologi perkembangan mempelajari berbagai bidang teoritis, seperti proses biologis, sosial, emosi, dan arti kognitif. psikologi perkembangan yakni suatu cabang dari psikologi yang membahas tentang gejala jiwa seseorang baik menyangkut perkembangan atau kemunduran perilaku seseorang sejak masa konsepsi hingga dewasa. Dalam usaha memahami psikologi perkembangan, kita harus mengetahui apa yang dimaksud dengan perkembangan, Perkembangan menunjuk pada suatu proses kearah yang lebih sempurna dan tidak begitu saja dapat diulang kembali. Perkembangan menunjuk kearah perubahan yang bersifat tetap dan tidak dapat diputar kembali.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran tentang perkembangan psikologi manusia dari masa kanak kanak hingga lanjut usia; fokus penelitian ini adalah bagaimana perkembangan psikologi kanak-kanak dan lanjut usia terjadi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Data untuk penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Kemudian, data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis tematik yang berbasis data. Empat orang yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini terkait dengan penelitian perkembangan psikologi manusia. Responden pertama terlibat dalam penelitian fase kanak-kanak, responden kedua terlibat dalam penelitian fase remaja, responden ketiga terlibat dalam penelitian fase dewasa, dan responden keempat terlibat dalam penelitian fase lanjut usia.

Abstract

The enemy of progress is comfort. Some people might say, don't we need to feel comfortable in this life? This opinion is not completely wrong, but if we only pursue comfort, then we can get trapped in the comfort zone that we created ourselves. The comfort zone will make a person no longer productive and responsive to change. If someone is trapped in a comfort zone, then their life will quickly decline by it self. This research is motivated by ideal conditions and reality conditions regarding comfort zones and faith zones. The ideal condition is that young Christians must experience a breakthrough in their faith and work for God in accordance with the Bible and the reality is that many young Christians are still tied to their comfort zone. The aim to be achieved in this research is to release Christian youth out of their comfort zone into the faith zone. The research was conducted at the Indonesian Protestant Christian Church with church youth, using qualitative research. Based on research results, many young Christians are still comfortable in their comfort zone. Thus, we raised the title "Get out of the comfort zone into the faith zone". Therefore, it is recommended that every young Christian must first instill good Christian character and values according to the contents of the Bible.
