Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe the principal’s role as motivator in improving discipline work teacher’s, method use descriptive qualitative, data collecting technique use interview, observation, documentation. Data analysis technique used interactive Huberman, that shows, 1) improving timeliness principal apply android presensi and gave a snack to teacher who come early, 2) improving adherence standard work preparation learning tools principal perform in house training and supervisi, 3) improving adherence discipline teacher, principal sets a great for example star discipline from herself, give advice to obey rules, 4) proponent discipline factor work teacher principal make herself as example, reward, spirit, punishment, maintain good relations with teacher.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to describe and to analyze the diversion of policy of senior and vocational high school by department of education and culture at Bengkulu province. This was a descriptive quantitative research and the data were collected through interview, observation, and documentation. The results of this research showed that since the diversion of senior high and vocational high school authority management from district and municipality government to Bengkulu province government has been done. This diversion authority policy gave significant effects to honorary teachers and temporary government workers from district and municipality government to Bengkulu province government. The supporting effects were required such as sufficient funds and equipment, and also the obstacle factors were the lack of personnel in the education and culture department at Bengkulu province. Needed to be recommended were the increasing of service of administration by empowering the function of education and culture sub-units and an intensively coordination among schools and education and culture sub units with its education and culture expert unit

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of the school health effort program at Darul Fikri Integrated Islamic Elementary School in Arga Makmur, North Bengkulu. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects were the principal, the head of student affairs, and the school health effort supervising teacher. The research data were obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the management of the school health effort program at Darul Fikri Integrated Islamic Elementary School in Arga Makmur, North Bengkulu has contributed to improving the health of students, teachers, school community, and school environment.

Abstract

at SMA Lab School Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) conducted by Japanese language teachers. This study used a qualitative approach with the research subjects including the principal, head of curriculum, Japanese language teachers, and students at SMA Lab School UPI. The data collection techniques used include observation, interview, and documentation study. The results showed that innovation in the management of Japanese language learning by Japanese language teachers at UPI Lab School High School is in accordance with the curriculum implemented by UPI Lab School High School. Specific findings include: (1). Successful planning, with effective planning steps and in accordance with the needs of Japanese language learning. (2). Good organization, where the Japanese language learning organization system has been well structured and facilitates the smooth learning process. (3). Good implementation, with Japanese teachers able to implement effective learning methods and strategies in the classroom. (4). Continuous evaluation, where Japanese teachers regularly evaluate students' progress and learning outcomes to ensure teaching effectiveness. (5). Finding some problems in Japanese learning innovation at UPI Lab School High School that need to be addressed and improved in order to increase learning effectiveness. Thus, this study provides an overview of innovations in the management of Japanese language learning at UPI Lab School High School and highlights some aspects that need to be considered in order to improve the quality of Japanese language learning at the school.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze the management of improving the quality of learning numeracy based on the results of education reports at 01 State Junior High School North Bengkulu. The specific objective is to analyze the planning, implementation and monitoring of improving the quality of learning numeracy. Qualitative descriptive research method, subject to the principal, curriculum representative and science teacher using observation, interview and documentation instruments. Analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research at the planning stage carried out data-based planning, student-oriented planning, teachers and supporting facilities, as well as numeration sources. The implementation stage is through numeration techniques, physical facilities and numeration facilities, the academic environment and improving the quality of numeracy teachers. Monitoring is in the form of monitoring targets, time intensity, indicators of achievement of program implementation and identification of supporting/inhibiting factors for the program. Through good quality improvement management policies, teacher competence, students' numeracy abilities and the numeracy learning process in schools also increase.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the role of the driving teacher in mobilising the learning community at Public Elementary School 36 Lubuklinggau. The roles in question are learning leader, activator of the community of practice, coach for other teachers, collaborator between teachers, and realising student leadership. This research is a qualitative study using interviews, observation and documentation for data collection. The stages of data management began with data collection, reduction, and conclusion. The conclusion of the research is that the driving teacher has implemented all of his roles, namely as a learning leader, a community of practitioners, a coach for other teachers, a collaborator between teachers and a teacher who embodies student leadership to move the learning community in various forms such as initiators in curriculum preparation, providing coaching to other teachers, initiating various activities in the learning community, involving students in classroom and school leadership.

Abstract

This study examines the correlation of commitment, professional competence, and achievementmotivation to the work productivity of teachers at state vocational schools in the city of Arga Makmur. Theproductivity of school organizations is largely influenced by teacher work productivity. Teacher work productivityshould be an important concern because high and low teacher work productivity can affect the achievement ofoverall school organizational goals. Using a descriptive correlational quantitative approach, data were collectedthrough surveys, documentation, and questionnaires with teachers at State Vocational Schools in Arga MakmurCity, then analyzed using correlation techniques. The results showed a positive and significant correlation betweencommitment, professional competence, and achievement motivation to work productivity. In addition, the fourvariables together contribute significantly to teacher work productivity. This study emphasizes the importance ofmaintaining and improving commitment, professional competence, and achievement motivation to workproductivity. The findings provide insights for principals, teachers, and aspiring educators.
