Abstract

The objectives of this study are elaboration research areas in the development of educational management at the teacher and educational science faculty. Elaboration of research areas significant for the development of competitiveness study program, and can be references candidates for the topic choices of thesis and dissertation or lecturer research at the teacher and educational science faculty. The study will be done to literature analysis on educational management as a dimension process and substances in education. As a dimension, process management has explored while on planning, organizing, staffing, directing, budgeting, controlling, evaluating, and reporting. Substantial management included the curriculum, student, teacher, staff, money, facilities, and participation in educational management. The organization level can be analyses on global, regional, local, and institutional levels. The organizational function can be analyses on leadership, planning, supervision, communication, decision making, and innovation in the management process. The area's research in educational management has used for institutional innovation and student achievement.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui “Efektifitas Proses Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran SMA Negeri 4 Kabupaten Kaur. Masalah yang dirumuskan adalah:Bagaimanakah efektifvitas pembukaan dalam proses pelaksanaan?, Bagaimanakah efektifvitas kegiatan inti dalam proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran?,  Bagaimanakah efektifvitas kegiatan penutup dalam proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran?. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan metode evaluatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang berakar pada latar alamiah sebagai kebutuhan penyelesaian studi.Subyek pemilihan sebagai informan pada penelitian ini sebagai subyek utamanya atau subyek primernya adalah guru SMA Negeri 4, kepala sekolah,  bagian kurikulum, subyek sekundernya adalah masyarakat yang berada di lingkungan yang sama.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: Guru dalam kegiatan pendahuluan dengan melakukan menyiapkan peserta didik secara psikis dan fisik untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran, guru telah melakukannya dengan mengikuti standar yang ditetapkan dalam pedoman. Pada kegiatan inti proses pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan, guru belum sepenuhnya melakukan kegiatan inti secara efektif. Guru dalam kegiatan penutup, bersama-sama dengan peserta didik  membuat rangkuman kegiatan pembelajaran, mengadakan penilaian dan refleksi terhadap pembelajaran.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to describe academic supervision in increasing teacher professionalism in Rembas 1 Public Junior High School, Musirawas Regency. The research method uses a qualitative approach. The research subjects were school principals, vice principals and teachers. Collecting data with observation techniques, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the study: 1) the implementation of programmed supervision can improve the professional abilities of teachers in planning and implementing learning, 2) school principals use more group supervision techniques with meetings, workshops, 3) the supporting factors are the teacher's positive attitude and response, while the obstacles are: Busyness school principals, limitations of learning media.

Abstract

Technological advances will be very useful and meaningful to life if used properly and properly. One of the uses of technology in the field of education is in the management information system (SIM). Padang Muhammadiyah 1 Vocational School has made use of these technological advancements to support the smoothness and progress of education with the implementation of management information systems. This has been proven by web / sisfo  assessment, attendance and report card management. The management information system has been computerized and well-automated, to improve work effectiveness and efficiency. Reducing the use of paper and ink. Then the most important thing is tidying up and securing the data. Data can be input, accessed, and printed anytime anywhere as long as there is an internet connection, can be accessed via a computer and smartphone (Android).

Abstract

The management information system is not yet optimal. This research aims to develop a work practice management information system for vocational school students. The method used in development is the SLDC waterfall model. Management, database, and website feasibility data are obtained through feasibility sheets. Trial data via questionnaire. Descriptive data analysis. The results of the feasibility assessment of the work practice management information system carried out by management experts, database experts and website experts indicate that it is suitable for use. Respondents gave positive responses. The developed management information system can simplify data management and make it easier to make decision data on vocational school students' field work practice.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the leadership design of Sekolah Penggerak principals in instilling good practices in high schools in East OKU Regency. The method used in this research is research and development. The Research and Development (R&D) research procedure used in this research adopted the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of the research show that the initial conditions for the development of Sekolah Penggerak for school principals in implementing good practices in SMA East OKU Regency still require adaptive school planning and management to adapt to current developments and ensure quality learning. The Sekolah Penggerak principal's leadership design in instilling good practices is presented in units such as the Sekolah Penggerak program, school operational management working group, mentoring activities by the principal, and mentoring of the principal. The feasibility of the leadership design was declared feasible to implement, with an average score of 83.4% on the feasibility criteria and 80.73% on the material validator. This research could be groundbreaking in understanding how school leadership can influence best practices in secondary schools and provide valuable new insights for educational practitioners, researchers, and policymakers. This research can make a significant contribution to our understanding of how school leadership can improve best practices at the high school level, as well as provide a foundation for further research in this area.

Abstract

The study was conducted to analyze the effect of academic supervision and teamwork on the level of job satisfaction of junior high school teachers in Sindang Kelingi District, Rejang Lebong Regency. The research sample was 50 teachers using a total sample. Data collection using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used statistical correlation test using Pearson product moment analysis and regression test. The results showed that: (1) There was a positive relationship between academic supervision and teacher job satisfaction, (2) There is a positive relationship between teamwork and teacher job satisfaction,(3) There is a joint relationship between academic supervision and teamwork with job satisfaction by 52% of yunior high school teachers in Sindang Kelingi District, Rejang Lebong Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the performance of teachers in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP N 11 Rejang Lebong. This research is a case study research. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 11 Rejang Lebong Regency. Research data obtained from interviews, observations and documentation. Research data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, verification and conclusion drawing. Results showed that teacher's performance in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP N 11 Rejang Lebong, among others, was seen from: (1) Teacher motivation was shown by the continuity of learning and teaching activities carried out online, teachers felt proud to be able to plan, implement, carry out assessments and follow-up in assignments as teachers, starting from the beginning of the entry of the Covid-19 virus until now; (2) Teacher discipline is shown by the implementation of the duties and obligations of teachers in online learning that has complied with the rules and ethics that apply in schools; (3) The professional competence of teachers is demonstrated by developing an online learning implementation plan (RPP), mastering learning materials, as well as developing teaching materials and online learning media; (4) The follow-up taken by the teacher is indicated by efforts to improve learning which will be carried out as an effort to improve the quality of learning. Based on the results of the study, it is suggested that efforts should be made to increase teacher motivation in carrying out teacher duties in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the role of the driving teacher in mobilising the learning community at Public Elementary School 36 Lubuklinggau. The roles in question are learning leader, activator of the community of practice, coach for other teachers, collaborator between teachers, and realising student leadership. This research is a qualitative study using interviews, observation and documentation for data collection. The stages of data management began with data collection, reduction, and conclusion. The conclusion of the research is that the driving teacher has implemented all of his roles, namely as a learning leader, a community of practitioners, a coach for other teachers, a collaborator between teachers and a teacher who embodies student leadership to move the learning community in various forms such as initiators in curriculum preparation, providing coaching to other teachers, initiating various activities in the learning community, involving students in classroom and school leadership.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan kepemimpinan distributif di lingkungan sekolah dan dampaknya terhadap berbagai aspek pendidikan. Pengumpulan dan analisis data menggunakan metode PRISMA dengan meninjau berbagai penelitian yang relevan dari database Scopus dan Semantic Sholar periode tahun 2019-2024, kriteria inklusif dan eksklusi juga disertakan. Kajian ini menegaskan pentingnya kepemimpinan distributif sebagai model yang dapat mendorong komitmen guru, kepuasan kerja, dan efektivitas sekolah, terutama dalam konteks negara-negara berkembang. Kajian ini juga menemukan bahwa efektivitas penerapan kepemimpinan distributif bergantung pada konteks budaya dan geografis. Dalam beberapa kasus, seperti di Indonesia, kepemimpinan instruksional dianggap lebih relevan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja guru. Selain itu, keterbatasan dalam ukuran sampel dan cakupan wilayah membuat hasil penelitian sulit digeneralisasikan ke populasi yang lebih luas. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penelitian tambahan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan cakupan yang lebih luas untuk mengeksplorasi nuansa kontekstual yang lebih mendalam. Dari perspektif kebijakan, kajian ini memberikan panduan praktis bagi pembuat kebijakan pendidikan untuk mengembangkan pelatihan kepemimpinan yang inklusif dan kebijakan yang mendukung kepala sekolah. Dukungan institusi pendidikan, seperti pelatihan berkelanjutan, pendampingan, dan alokasi sumber daya yang memadai, sangat penting untuk memastikan keberhasilan implementasi model kepemimpinan ini. Kajian ini memperkaya literatur mengenai kepemimpinan distributif di berbagai konteks budaya dan geografis, tidak hanya memberikan kontribusi teoretis, tetapi juga panduan praktis untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui kepemimpinan yang lebih inklusif, kolaboratif, dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk menjembatani kesenjangan dalam literatur dan memperkuat relevansi model ini di berbagai konteks global.
